三、知识疏理与反馈：（一）知识疏理：
★ 1. 重点语法：
1. If 引导的条件状语从句。

①在含有条件状语从句的复合句中，如果主句是一般将来时，从句则用一般现在时表示
将来。

Eg：If I’m free tomorrow, I’ll go with you.
②如果主句含有must, may, can 等情态动词，从句也用一般现在时。

If you play in the street, the car may hit you.
③如果主句是祈使句，从句也要用一般现在时。

2. if引导条件状语从句与if引导宾语从句的区别
①if 引导条件状语从句时，表示“假如，如果”，从句可位于语句的前面或后面。

It引
导宾语从句，表示“是否，是不是‘，相当于whether, 位于及物动词之后。

Eg: If it doesn’t rain tomorrow, we will go hiking.
I don’t know if he will come tomorrow.
②在if引导的条件状语从句中，用一般现在时表示将来。

而在if 引导的宾语从句中，
若主句为一般现在时，宾语从句的时态根据语境确定；若主句为一般过去时，宾语从句用过去时态的某种形式。

He will not leave if it isn’t fine tomorrow.
I don’t know if it will rain tomorrow.
He asked me if I could help him.

3. unless 引导的条件状语从句
Unless 意为“除非”，相当于if … not. Unless 引导的条件状语从句表示强烈的否定。

同if 引导的条件状语从句一样，在unlesss引导的条件状语从句中，主句也可以含有情态动词或是祈使句。

You will fail unless you work harder.
注意：①unless 从句里的谓语只能是肯定式，因为unless 本身表示否定。

②当某种条件所引起的结果是一种情绪或想法时，不能使用unless, 只能用if …not. e.g. 1. Learning to write is learning to think. You don’t know things clearly________ you you can write them down. (2013 盐城中考)

Don’ t Rest on Your Laurels
Have you ever heard the saying “Don’t rest on your laurels”？“ Laurels”means the achievements you have already got. The saying suggests that you shouldn’t be so satisfied with your achievements that you’ll no longer try to improve.
As to this saying, Mike Perham has set us a good example. Born in 1992 in Hertfordshire, England, Mike was just 14 when he became the youngest person to sail across the Atlantic Ocean.
