一Analyze material
这是新教材高一上册第二单元的阅读部分,是一篇说明文,中心话题是世界英语,介绍了英语在世界范围内的人们生活中所扮演的角色以及其重要性。

文中使用了一些专有名词,复合介词以及定语从句。

根据教学大纲以及高一学生的知识结构以及语言能力,制定以下教学目标:
二Teaching aims
1.abilities aims :Make a world map of English-speaking countries and collect words different in spelling ,pronunciation, or meaning between British and American English, to make a list.
2.knowledge aims : Master new vocabularies and sentence patterns.
3.emotion aims: Let Ss have a good understanding of the importance of English and discuss how to learn English well.
