母亲教我看书英文作文
When I was a child, my mother taught me how to read.
She would sit with me and point to the words as she read them out loud. I remember feeling so excited to be able to recognize the letters and understand the story.
Sometimes, my mother would ask me to read a book to her.
I would stumble over the words, but she was always patient and encouraging. She would help me sound out the difficult words and praise me when I got them right.
As I got older, my mother would take me to the library and let me pick out books to read. She always said that reading was a great way to learn new things and explore different worlds. I loved spending time in the library with her, surrounded by all the books.
My mother also taught me the importance of reading for pleasure. She would often read to me before bedtime, and it became a special time for us to bond over stories. I looked
forward to those moments every night.
Now, as an adult, I still love to read. I am grateful to my mother for instilling in me a love for books and the ability to escape into a good story. I hope to pass on the joy of reading to my own children one day.。
