My School and My Home
I live in a small town in the suburbs of a big city. My house is located about 5 kilometers away from my school. Every day, I have to take the school bus to get to school and then take it back home after school.
The school bus ride takes about 20 minutes each way, depending on traffic. In the morning, I wake up early to catch the bus on time. The bus is always crowded with students from different grades, chatting and laughing as we make our way to school. Sometimes, I like to sit by the window and watch the familiar landmarks pass by - the grocery store, the park, and the tall buildings in the city center.
After a long day of classes, I board the bus again and head back home. The ride home is usually more peaceful, as everyone is tired from the day's activities. I like to listen to music or read a book to pass the time. Sometimes, I even doze off and only wake up when we reach my stop.
Although the distance between my school and my home is not too far, the daily commute can be tiring. However, I have gotten used to it and have found ways to make the most of my
time on the bus. I enjoy the peaceful moments of solitude before and after a busy day at school.
Overall, the 5-kilometer distance between my school and my home has become a familiar part of my daily routine. It may not be a short walk away, but the journey is always worth it in the end.。
