Tips Sherlock Holmes is a character
created by the English writer Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Sherlock Holmes became the prototype (原型) for the modern mastermind detective. Doyle introduced Holmes in 1887 in the short story A Study in Scarlet. Doctor Watson is Sherlock’s best friend and partner.
