摘要

中国古典园林在发展过程中，受到社会经济文化渊源等多方面的影响，其必然呈现出反映中国人生理心理行为特点的尺度比例原则指导现代园林创作

１．　总论篇

１）中国古典园林造园空间规模的历史演变

中国园林的历史发展在空间上不断缩小

先秦至西汉

东汉至魏晋南北朝隋唐宋

明清代私家园林空间规模的历史发展经历四个时期规模宏大

魏晋南北朝

唐宋但仍具有相当巨大的规模城市私园成为营造的主流

Traditional Chinese gardens were influenced by social economy

so they must present the scale principles reflecting Chinese people’s physical and mental behavioral characteristic. This paper is to sum up the space scale rules in order to direct the production of morden gardens. The main matters were as follows:

1. Pandect piece

1)Historical evolvement of traditional Chinese gardens’ space size

Traditional Chinese gardens’ space size was reducing during developing. The historical evolvement of imperial gardens’ space size undergwent five periods including three risings and two fallings. During Xianqin to Xihan dynasty during Donghan dynasty to Wei and Jin dynasties, North and South dynasties, the size was shrinking the space size was adding distinctly the imperial gardens’ became the lowest in the history the space size lifted another climax. While the historical evolvement of private gardens’ space size underwent four periods. During Xihan and Donghan dynasty, the size of the private gardens was huge, which main function was to product; during Wei and Jin dynasties, North and South dynasties, the size was still very large, but some exquisite small gardens appeared

the size was becoming smaller

quite big the gardens in the cities became the mainsteam

the ratio between middle or large type residential gardens and the residence was about 25% to 60%.

3)Analysis of the division scale in the traditional Chinese gardens

The space of imperial gardens was divided step by step: garden→scenic areas→scenic spots, and the scenic spots were within thousand feet. While the scale of main space in the private gardens was within hundred feet.

4) Analysis of the viewing space’s scale in the traditional Chinese gardens

The viewing distances in the private gardens in Suzhou are round 12~35m

in both private gardens and imperial gardens
