福尔摩斯与赛马英文绘本第一章节读后感全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1A Thrilling Mystery with Sherlock Holmes and HorsesI just finished reading the first chapter of the new picture book "Sherlock Holmes and the Race Day Riddle" and it was amazing! The story is about the famous detective Sherlock Holmes trying to solve a mystery at a big horse race. I can't wait to read the rest and find out what happens. The chapter started by introducing us to Sherlock Holmes and his friend Dr. Watson. They live in London and solve all kinds of tricky crimes and puzzles using just their brilliant minds and powers of observation. One day, they get a letter from a wealthy man named Lord Ravensworth asking for their help. Ravensworth is one of the biggest names in horse racing and he's holding a huge race called the Epsom Derby. But he's afraid something fishy might happen to ruin the race day!Holmes and Watson agree to take the case, which I thought was very brave and exciting of them. They go to visit Lord Ravensworth at his huge country estate. The illustrations in thebook of the mansion and horse stables are just gorgeous! I've never seen horses up close before, but the ones in the pictures look so powerful and magnificent. When they meet Lord Ravensworth, he seems very nervous and worried. He tells them he's been receiving strange threatening letters saying his prize racehorse Lightning Thunder will be stopped from winning the Epsom Derby at all costs. Lightning Thunder is the fastest, most amazing horse and is expected to easily win the big race and make Lord Ravensworth richer than ever. But the letters say there's a plot to make sure he loses! This part really got me on the edge of my seat. Who could be trying to sabotage the race and why? Is it a bitter rival owner who wants to see Lord Ravensworth fail? One of his jealous jockeys or stable hands hoping to get back at him? Or maybe even someone who plans to cheat and bet against Lightning Thunder winning? Holmes has to use his famous deductive skills to get to the bottom of this sinister scheme. The chapter ends with Holmes vowing to keep a very close eye on everything and everyone at the racetrack in the days leading up to the big derby. His iron determination and brilliance at noticing every tiny detail always shine through. I can't wait tosee what clues he uncovers and how he solves this mystery in the next chapter.I'm really loving this book so far because I've always been a huge fan of Sherlock Holmes. All the stories about his smarts in cracking cases just blow my mind. Plus I've never read anything quite like this that combines Holmes' detective work with the exciting world of horse racing before. It's such a fun, unique idea that has me totally gripped already! The writing and pictures are also top-notch. The author does an amazing job of laying out all the key parts of the mystery and suspects, while sprinkling in cool facts about horse racing as well.I feel like I'm learning a lot about this incredible sport while also trying to play detective alongside Holmes and Watson. The language isn't too simple but isn't too complex for kids like me either. It's just a nice smooth read that really lets you get immersed in the adventure. And the illustrations are what really bring the whole setting and characters to life. Having a visual along with the words is so helpful for picturing everything vividly in my mind in a way I couldn't from just reading plain text. The colors are bold and vibrant, the horses look so powerful and fluid, and all the classic Holmes character designs are totally on point too. His trademarkdeerstalker cap and pipe, Watson's mustache, and Lord Ravensworth's posh attire and mansion all look fantastic.Overall, I'm absolutely hooked after this first chapter of "Sherlock Holmes and the Race Day Riddle" and I'm counting down the days until I can read the next one. Will Holmes get to the bottom of who is threatening Lightning Thunder before it's too late? Will the Epsom Derby go off without a hitch or will chaos and scandal strike the racetrack? I have so many burning questions and I can't wait to see how this gripping mystery centered around the high-stakes world of elite horse racing unfolds. Mark me down as a huge fan already!篇2The First Chapter of Sherlock Holmes and the Horse RaceWow! The first chapter of the book "Sherlock Holmes and the Horse Race" was super exciting and fun to read. I couldn't put it down once I started reading! The story begins by introducing us to the famous detective Sherlock Holmes and his friend Dr. Watson. They are asked to help solve a mystery involving a big, important horse race coming up in a few days. The owner of one of the horses thinkssomeone might be trying to cheat and make sure his horse doesn't win.Holmes and Watson agree to take the case. They travel to the racetrack where the horse race will happen. When they get there, they meet the owner of the horse named Silver Blaze. His name is Colonel Ross and he seems really worried and upset about something fishy going on.Colonel Ross tells Holmes and Watson all about how his prize racehorse Silver Blaze went missing from the stables a couple nights ago! Not only that, but the horse's groom (that's the person who takes care of the horse) was found knocked out cold on the ground. The poor guy had a terrible bump on his head.To make matters even worse, when Silver Blaze was finally found miles away from the racetrack, one of his horse shoes was discovered to be missing! This was really strange and didn't make any sense at all. Why would someone steal a racehorse, only to let it go again? And why take just one of its shoes? It was all very mysterious.Meanwhile, Watson is amazed as always by how brilliant Holmes is at gathering little pieces of evidence that seem unimportant. But Holmes explains that even the smallest thingscan end up being huge clues that crack the case wide open. I thought that was so cool!At the end of the chapter, Holmes tells Watson he has a theory about what happened to Silver Blaze. But he doesn't reveal it yet, leaving us desperately waiting to find out in the next chapter. I can't wait to read more and see if Holmes can figure out who is trying to cheat and why! This book is shaping up to be an awesome mystery.I give the first chapter of "Sherlock Holmes and the Horse Race" 5 out of 5 stars! The story pulled me in right away with the strange crime and had me hooked by the end. Holmes and Watson make such a great team of clever detectives. I love trying to spot the little clues along with them as they investigate. With mysteries this good, no wonder Sherlock Holmes is one of the most famous detectives ever!If you like adventure, puzzles, and using your brain, then you absolutely have to read this book. I'm super excited to find out what happens next and see if Holmes can save the day before it's too late for Silver Blaze. The game is afoot!篇3Sherlock Holmes and the Racehorse Mystery - Chapter 1 ReviewWow, what an exciting start to this book! I couldn't put it down from the very first page. The story begins with Sherlock Holmes and his friend Dr. Watson getting a visit from a worried-looking gentleman named Sir Robert Carriston. He owns a famous racehorse named Thunder's Pride, and the big Ascot race is coming up in just a few days.Sir Robert explains that someone has been trying to harm his horse! First, there was a strange man lurking around the stables asking too many questions. Then, Thunder's Pride got sick after eating some hay that had been tampered with. Finally, just the night before, one of the stable hands found a sharp metal object hidden in the horse's stall – it could have really hurt the poor animal!Naturally, Sir Robert is terribly upset. He's afraid someone is trying to sabotage his horse so it can't race at Ascot. He begs Sherlock Holmes to investigate and get to the bottom of this mystery before it's too late. Of course, the famous detective agrees to take the case!I loved seeing how quickly Holmes got to work. As soon as Sir Robert left, he told Dr. Watson they needed to go inspect thecrime scene right away. When they arrived at the stables, Holmes went straight to Thunder's Pride's stall and began examining every little detail with his trusty magnifying glass. He studied the hay, the metal object, and even sniffed around for any odd smells. The way his mind works is just incredible!Meanwhile, Watson interviewed the stable hands to get their accounts of what happened. They all seemed very loyal to Sir Robert, but one younger man named Jim caught Watson's attention. He said he had seen someone skulking around the barn late at night. When Watson pressed him for more details, Jim clammed up and refused to say anything more. How mysterious! After thoroughly searching the stables, Holmes gathers everyone together. In his typical dramatic flair, he reveals that he has already figured out a few key clues about the criminal's identity! However, he doesn't share the details yet, claiming there is still more investigating to be done before he can expose the culprit. I can't wait to read what happens next!As the first chapter ends, Holmes and Watson leave the estate determined to follow the trail wherever it leads. Holmes tells Watson they will need to explore the local village and question anyone who may have information about threatsagainst Thunder's Pride. He seems confident they are hot on the criminal's trail. I'm sure some thrilling twists and turns are still to come!Overall, this opening chapter grabbed me right away with its intriguing mystery plot. I loved seeing Sherlock Holmes in action, examining the crime scene clues with his sharp eye for detail. Dr. Watson's interviews with the stable staff set up some suspicious characters that I can't wait to learn more about. Most of all, I'm dying to know what crucial evidence Holmes has already uncovered about the culprit's identity! He's just such a captivating genius.I give this first chapter a huge thumbs up for being packed with suspense, danger, and of course, Holmes' brilliant deductive skills. The pages flew by as I was glued to every twist and turn of the early investigation. I can absolutely see why this book is so popular with kids my age who love a good mystery adventure! I'm already craving more and can't wait to dive into Chapter 2. Bring on the thrilling race to protect Thunder's Pride and crack the case wide open!篇4A Reading Response to Chapter 1 of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: The Race Day MysteryWow, this first chapter of the Sherlock Holmes horse racing mystery book was really exciting and fun to read! I could hardly put it down. The story started off at a big, important horse race in England. There were lots of fancy ladies wearing big hats and gentlemen in suits. Everyone was excited to watch the race and maybe even make some money by betting on which horse would win.But then, something shocking happened before the race even started! Sherlock Holmes and his friend Dr. Watson noticed that one of the horses looked very anxious and nervous. Its trainer tried to give it a tonic to calm it down, but Holmes figured out that the tonic was actually a wicked poison that would make the horse sick instead of calming it. How despicable! Someone must be trying to cheat by poisoning that poor horse so it couldn't race.Luckily, the brilliant Sherlock Holmes stopped the evil trainer from poisoning the horse just in the nick of time. He switched out the poisoned tonic with a safe one when the trainer wasn't looking. I was on the edge of my seat reading that part! I couldn't believe someone would try such an underhanded trick. Horseracing is supposed to be an honest competition where the best, fastest horse wins fairly. After saving the horse from being poisoned, Sherlock Holmes promised the owner that he would get to the bottom of this dastardly cheating plot. He said he would figure out who was trying to rig the race and why before the next race day. I can't wait to read the next chapter and see how Holmes cracks the case!I have a few theories already about who the culprit could be. Maybe it was one of the other horse trainers or owners who wanted to cheat to help their own horse win. Or perhaps it was someone who had placed a huge bet against that horse winning, so they tried to poison it to make sure it would lose on purpose. Securing an unfair advantage like that would be so unsportsmanlike and dishonorable. I really hope Holmes catches the cheater and restores fairness to the horse racing event. This book is exciting like a real detective story, but it's even better because it takes place in the amazing world of horse racing! I love horses and I've been to the racetrack a few times to watch them run. It's just so thrilling to see those powerful, beautiful animals galloping at top speeds while the spectatorscheer them on. I can picture the fancy racetrack setting perfectly from the vivid descriptions in this book. But even though I'm familiar with horse racing, there were still some words and phrases I didn't fully understand. For example, I'm not totally sure what a "tonic" is - is it like a sports drink or something? And what did the book mean when it said the horse looked "anxious" and "nervous?" I know those describe how a person might feel before a big event, but how could you tell if a horse felt that way? I'll have to ask my reading teacher to explain those parts more clearly.Overall though, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this first chapter introduction to the latest Sherlock Holmes mystery caper. The narration was easy for me to follow along, and I loved all the intriguing characters like the eccentric detective Holmes himself, his loyal friend Dr. Watson, and even the clueless but well-meaning horse trainer who nearly made a terrible mistake. The author painted such a clear picture in my mind of the fancy racetrack setting filled with excitement and potential scandal.I genuinely can't wait to continue reading and see how Sherlock Holmes solves this case of underhanded cheating and restores order to the horse racing world. He always finds a way to get to the bottom of these complex mysteries using hisincredible powers of observation and deduction. I have no doubt he'll bring the deplorable culprit to justice in the end. But I'm just as eager to soak up more fun facts about the sport of horse racing that this book seems to offer plenty of educational details about too. What an ingenious way to make learning feel like a rollicking real-life adventure!篇5My Adventure with Sherlock Holmes and the RacehorseHi there! Today, I want to tell you about an amazing book I just read called "Sherlock Holmes and the Racehorse." It's a super cool English picture book that made me feel like I was on an exciting adventure! The story starts with Sherlock Holmes, the smartest detective ever, and his loyal friend Dr. Watson. They were sitting in their cozy apartment on Baker Street when a mysterious case came their way. It was about a missing racehorse named Thunderbolt. I was so intrigued to find out what happened to the horse!Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson began their investigation by visiting the horse stable. The author described the stable in such detail that I could almost smell the hay and hear the horsesneighing. They talked to the stable manager, Mr. Johnson, who seemed quite worried about Thunderbolt's disappearance. As the story unfolded, I was amazed by Sherlock Holmes' brilliant deductions. He noticed small details that nobody else did. One of the things he found was a tiny horseshoe print near the stable entrance. Sherlock Holmes believed it was a clue left by the person who took Thunderbolt. The adventure took a thrilling turn when Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson followed the clues to a horse race. They disguised themselves as jockeys to get closer to the action. I could feel my heart racing as they watched the horses thundering down the track. It was like being right there with them!Suddenly, Sherlock Holmes spotted a suspicious-looking man in the crowd. He had a mischievous grin on his face that made me think he had something to do with Thunderbolt's disappearance. Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson decided to follow him discreetly. They trailed him to a hidden barn, where they discovered Thunderbolt tied up and looking very scared. I was so relieved that they found the missing horse! But the adventure wasn't over yet. They had to catch the bad guy and bring him to justice.Sherlock Holmes used his cleverness to outsmart the villain. He set up a trap that caught the bad guy red-handed. With the help of the police, they were able to rescue Thunderbolt and return him safely to the stable. The day was saved, thanks to Sherlock Holmes' amazing detective skills!Reading this book made me feel like I was solving the mystery alongside Sherlock Holmes. It was so exciting to follow the clues and uncover the truth. I also learned a lot about horses and horse racing. Did you know that jockeys wear colorful uniforms called silks? I found that really interesting!I would recommend "Sherlock Holmes and the Racehorse" to all my friends. It's a thrilling story with lots of twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Plus, you'll get to learn about detective work and horses at the same time!In conclusion, I had an incredible adventure with Sherlock Holmes and the racehorse Thunderbolt. This book taught me the importance of paying attention to small details and using my brain to solve problems. I can't wait to read the next chapter of Sherlock Holmes' adventures. Who knows what mystery he'll unravel next?篇6A Book Report on The Case of the Racetrack RiddleChapter 1: The Mysterious ThreatI just started reading this really cool new Sherlock Holmes book called "The Case of the Racetrack Riddle" by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. It's all about the famous detective Sherlock Holmes and his friend Dr. Watson getting mixed up in a mystery at a big horse race!In the first chapter, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson are just hanging out at their apartment on Baker Street in London. It's a pretty normal day, but then all of a sudden, a fancy carriage pulls up outside their door! A well-dressed gentleman named Lord Robert Dainsbury comes inside. He seems really nervous and worried about something.Lord Dainsbury tells Holmes and Watson that he needs their help with a very strange problem. He owns some of the best racehorses in all of England and he's been getting these scary anonymous letters threatening his horses! The letters say that if Lord Dainsbury enters his horses in the upcoming Derby race at the Epsom Downs racetrack, then something terrible will happen to them.Holmes agrees to take the case right away because he just loves a good brainteaser. He asks to see the threatening letters. Lord Dainsbury hands him three letters he has received so far. Holmes studies them very closely, using his super detective skills to examine every tiny detail like the handwriting, the paper, the ink, and even the way the letters were sealed and delivered. From just the letters alone, Holmes is able to make some really smart observations. He points out that the letters were written by someone who is very educated and proper because of the fancy cursive writing. But he says the person is also trying to disguise their real handwriting a bit. He also notes that the letters were hand-delivered in a clever way, not just dropped in the public mail system.Dr. Watson thinks it must be someone who works at one of the racetracks or horse farms and has access to Lord Dainsbury's horses. Maybe a bitter former employee who was fired and is now seeking revenge? Or perhaps a rival racehorse owner who is just jealous of Lord Dainsbury's success? There are lots of possibilities.Lord Dainsbury mentions that the Derby race is in just two weeks, so time is running out before something potentially horrible could happen to his beloved racehorses. He is willing topay Holmes and Watson a very large fee if they can crack this case and catch the letter writer before the big Derby day.So Sherlock puts on his classic deerstalker cap and tells Lord Dainsbury not to worry - he's on the case! He vows to get to the bottom of this racetrack mystery no matter what. In the meantime, Lord Dainsbury should just carry on with his normal routines and preparations for the Derby while Holmes quietly investigates things behind the scenes.I'm already hooked on this story and I can't wait to read the next chapter! I really hope Sherlock Holmes figures out who is sending those scary letters. From the first chapter, it seems like the possibilities are wide open - it could be just about anyone associated with the racehorses or big racing events like the Derby. I'll just have to keep reading to find out! What did you think of the first chapter? Do you have any guesses on who the culprit might be? Or what their motive is for threatening Lord Dainsbury's horses? make sure to let me know! I'll be sure to write up another book report once I dive into Chapter 2 and more clues are revealed. This book is shaping up to be a real page-turner mystery!。

Sherlock Holmes
