A breathtaking trick potentially left over from our ancestors might be found in us — the ability to sense oxygen through our skin. Amphibians(两栖动物), animals such as frogs that can live both on land and in water, have long been known to be capable of breathing through their skin. 摘要：针对现在高三学生的学习压力大，学习任务重，时间紧的特点，如何在二轮复习中抓紧有限的时间，把英语学科的复习进行统筹安排，使学生的学习效率尽量提高，差距尽可能得到最大限度的缩小，争取在2012年高考中取得优异的成绩，是我们面临的重要问题。针对我校高三学生目前的状况，特提出以下几点来仅供大家参考。

通过调查我们发现，学生在平时做题准确性都很高，成绩都比较理想。但是一到正式考试，判若两人，本来会做的题目，做错甚至不会做，成绩自然不理想。究其原因就是考试时间不够用，限时训练不到位。这种现象不仅在英语学科，在其它学科也普遍存在。
二、限时训练的原因
首先，进行限时训练是英语考试的需要。任何考试都有时间的约束性，英语考试也不例外。其次，限时训练是学生综合运用英语能力的体现。在有限的时间内检查出学生对英语复习得是否到位，基础知识是否扎实，解题方法是否得当，心理素质是否符合考试要求。同时，限时训练是高考选拔考试的必然要求。高中英语教学主要围绕着高考。根据2012年江苏省高考说明，高考英语试卷满分120

2019年英语高考全国一卷阅读理解及七选五试题分析

自2016年起，广东省普通高考使用教育部考试中心统一命题的新课标I卷，今年已是第四年。本次高考全国一卷试题紧扣《普通高中英语课程标准》和2019年“普通高等学校招生全国统一考试大纲”。不难看出，全国卷非常突出考查考生的阅读能力。阅读是我国学生接触外语的主要途径，它不仅有助于学生获取大量的有效信息，了解世界各国，特别是英语国家在教育、科技、文化等领域的发展成果，学习国外的先进经验，培养国际意识，同时还会在很大程度上影响学生的听、说、写水平。所以，阅读理解长期以来一直出现在高考英语试卷中，且被赋予了较多的内容和较高的分值。
一、阅读理解试题设计
2019高考英语全国一卷的阅读理解的选材一般较为简短，词
数从 257到354不等，最多不超过360。总词量较2018年高考英语全国一卷有所减少，但基本保持近三年一卷总词量1400以上。今年选项长度较去年也有所减少。
高考英语语篇倾向于从英语国家的正规、权威媒体中选取，
比如《新闻周刊》《纽约时报》、美国有线电视新闻网等，保证了语篇的地道性。同时也不乏从政府官方网站、地方社区网站中选取的语篇，在一定程度上起到了引导学生关注国计民生、关注身边人、关注身边事的作用。广大考生平时不仅需要积累基础知识，还要加强综合运用能力，同时要加强对各个领域事件和新话题的关 注，扩大自己的阅读量和阅读面。阅读理解题材丰富多
样，包含人文、科技、社会、心理、自然生活，围绕人与自我、人与社会、人与自然三大主题展开，重点突出人与社会，篇幅占比较重。这些文章体裁多样，分别为应用文、记叙文、说明文、议论文，其中说明文有两篇。材料来源广泛，有些节选自各类书籍，有些出自报纸杂志，有些则选自各类活页宣传材料。

I am a strong believer that if a child is raised with approval,he learns to love himself and will be successful in his own way. Several weeks ago,I was doing homework with my son in the third grade and he kept standing up from his chair to go over the math lines. As parents,throughout their growing years and beyond that,we need to be our kids’ best cheerleaders,guiding them and helping them find their way.
I have stopped asking my son to sit down and concentrate. Obviously,he is concentrating just in his own way and not mine. We need to learn to accept our kids’ ways of doing things. Some way may have worked for me but doesn’t mean we need to carry it through generations. There is nothing sweeter than being personal and unique.It makes us free and happy and that’s just the way I want my kids to live their own lives.
