本节课是对前面知识的延伸和拓展。

因此,在教学活动中,我考虑学生的知识水平,以旧带新,这样既能相应地降低教学难度,又能自然地引出新的教学内容。

【学情分析】六年级的学生已具备了一定的英语基础,掌握了大量的句型和动词词汇,在教学中多联系学生学过的知识,帮助学生不断巩固所学知识,让学生积极参与英语课堂活动,游戏活动等,以及有效的评价激励方式,激发了学生的热情。

【教学目标】一、能力目标:能够理解并会朗读Let's read部分的对话;能完成排序练习。

二、知识目标:能够使学生简单了解中、西方地图不同的标识。

三、情感目标1.培养学生学习英语的兴趣及自信心。

2.在学习中通过竞赛及各种小组活动培养学生合作意识。

【教学重点】本课时的教学重点是能够听、说、认读Let's read部分的对话。

【教学难点】本课时的教学难点是能够理解对话中出现的新时态和指点路线的新语言,如:What are you going to do after school? Get off at thecinema.Then walk straight for three minutes.【教学策略】这节课以阅读教学为主,我运用多种教学手段,把语境铺垫与提问技巧相结合,使学生在语境中习得语言,从而有效地突破重、难点,促进学生阅读能力的提高【教学准备】1.教师准备录音机和本课时的录音带。

2.教师准备Let's read和Good to know部分的教学挂图。

通过看对话课件整体感知文本,并提出问题培养学生抓住文章主要信息的能力通过寻宝藏活动调动学生的思维,让学生积极参与课堂活动。

3.其他目标:培养学生团结友爱、乐于助人的良好品质。

使学生愿意在小组活动中积极与他人合作,互相帮助,共同完成学习任务。

通过中国地图的问与答培养学生热爱祖国的思想感情。

达到学以致用的目的通过给别人指路的活动渗透乐于助人、热爱家乡的教育二、教学内容:本课时通过学会向左转,向右转,向前走,以及东南西北的表达。

小学六年级学生已经学了将近四年的英语,已掌握了基本的听、说、读、写能力,已具备了一定的自学能力。

因此可在教学中充分发挥他们的自主精神,培养他们的自学合作能力。

三、学情分析Unit 2 Where is the science museum ?以问路为主要话题展开,学生已学完本单元A部分,会说science museum、train station、school、post office、library、bank、park、hospital、bookstore、cinema、supermarket等各种建筑物的名称。

在第一单元对出行方式、交通规则等的了解和掌握的基础上,这单元开始了对问路和指路方式的学习,这在第一单元已经提到过一些,因此学生学起来驾轻就熟。

(3)能够听、说、认读句型:“Where is the library? It’s near the post office.”并进行关键词的替换操练。

(4)能够理解并会吟唱Le t’s chant的歌谣。
