Typical properties for CHO-SEAL 1310 and 1273 materi-al are shown on pages 33 and 32respectively.High Shielding PerformanceCHO-SEAL 1310 material provides more than 80 dB of shielding effectiv-ness from 100 MHz to 10 GHz, while CHO-SEAL 1273 material provides more than 100 dB.Low Volume ResistivityBoth materials have exceptionally low volume resistivity, which makes them well suited for grounding appli-cations in which a flexible electrical contact is needed.Low Compression GasketSpacer gaskets are typicallydesigned to function under low deflec-tion forces. Chomerics uses design tools such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to accurately predict compres-sion-deflection behavior of various cross section options. Refer to page16.LCP Plastic SpacerLiquid crystal polymer (LCP)spacers, including those made with Vectra A130 material, provide aCHO-SEAL ®1310 or 1273Conductive ElastomersWith EMI spacer gaskets, shielding and grounding are provided by Chomerics’CHO-SEAL 1310 and 1273 conductive elastomers, specifi-cally formulated for custom shape molded parts. They provide excellent shielding and isolation against electro-magnetic interference (EMI), or act as a low impedance ground path between PCB traces and shielding media. Physically tough, these elas-tomers minimize the risk of gasket damage, in contrast to thin-walled extrusions or unsupported molded gaskets.Silicone-based CHO-SEAL 1310and 1273 materials offer excellent resistance to compression set over a wide temperature range, resulting in years of continuous service. CHO-SEAL 1310 material is filled with silver-plated-glass particles, while 1273 utilizes silver-plated-copper filler to provide higher levels of EMI shielding effectiveness.EMI Spacer GasketsThe unique design of Chomerics’EMI spacer gaskets features a thin plastic retainer frame onto which a conductive elastomer is molded. The elastomer can be located inside or outside the retainer frame, as well as on its top and bottom surface. EMI spacer gaskets provide a newapproach to designing EMI gaskets into handheld electronics such as dig-ital cellular phones. Board-to-board spacing is custom designed to fit broad application needs. Customized cross sections and spacer shapes allow for very low closure forcerequirements and a perfect fit in any design or device.Robotic InstallationSpacer gaskets can be installed quickly by robotic application. Integral locater pins in the plastic spacer help ensure accuratepositioning in both manual and pick-and-place assembly. Benefits include faster assembly and lower labor costs. The integrated conductive elastomer/plastic spacer gasket is a low cost, easily installed system for providing EMI shielding and grounding in small electronic enclosures.Figure 1Single Piece EMI Gasket/Locator PinsCHO-SEAL 1310 or 1273 Conductive Elastomer (Inside)Plastic Spacer Around Outsideor InsideApplications for EMI Spacer GasketsThe spacer gasket concept is especially suited to digital and dual board telephone handsets or other handheld electronic devices. It provides a low impedance path between peripheral ground traces on printed circuit boards and components such as:•the conductive coating on a plastic housing•another printed circuit board •the keypad assemblyTypical applications for EMI spacer gaskets include:•Digital cellular, handyphone and personal communications services (PCS) handsets •PCMCIA cards•Global Positioning Systems (GPS)•Radio receivers•Other handheld electronics, e.g.,personal digital assistants (PDAs)•Replacements for metal EMI shield-ing “fences” on printedcircuit boards in wireless tele-communications devicesstable platform for direct, highprecision molding of conductive elas-tomers. The Vectra A130 material described in Table 1 has excellent heat deflection temperature character-istics (489°F, 254°C). For weight con-siderations, the LCP has aspecific gravity of only 1.61. This plas-tic is also 100% recyclable.Typical EMI Spacer Gasket Design ParametersThe EMI spacer gasket concept can be considered using the design parameters shown in Table 2. Some typical spacer gasket profiles are shown below.Figure 2Typical Spacer Gasket Profiles3US Headquarters TEL +(1) 781-935-4850FAX +(1) 781-933-4318 • Europe TEL +(44) 1628 404000FAX +(44) 1628 404090Asia Pacific TEL +(852) 2 428 8008FAX +(852) 2 423 8253South America TEL +(55) 11 3917 1099FAX +(55) 11 3917 0817Finite Element AnalysisChomerics, a division of the Parker Hannifin Corporation’s Seal Group, is the headquarters of Parker Seal’s Elastomer Simulation Group. This unit specializes in elastomer finite element analysis (FEA) using MARC K6 series software as a foundation for FEA capability.Benefits of FEA include:•Quickly optimizing elastomer gasket designs•Allowing accurate predictions of alternate elastomer design concepts •Eliminating extensive trial and error prototype evaluationTypical use of FEA in EMI spacer gasket designs is to evaluate the force vs. deflection requirements of alternate designs. For example, onespacer design features a continuous bead of con-ductive elastomer molded onto a plastic spacer. An alternative designemploys an “interrupted bead,” where the interrup-tions (gaps left on the plastic frame) are sized to maintain the requiredlevel of EMI shielding. Figure 4illustrates these alternative designs.Gasket DeflectionFigure 5 compares the effect of continuous and interrupted elastomer gasket designs in terms of the force required to deflect the conductive elastomer. This actual cellular handset application required a spacer gasket with interrupted bead to meet desired deflection forces.Chomerics Designand Application ServicesChomerics will custom design a spacer for your application. A significantly damaged diaphragm will result in external leakage. In addition, the power supply is short circuited depending on the applied fluid. Please use a power supply which includes short circuit protection.■NOTE○Follow the instructions given below when designing, selecting and handling the product.●The instructions on design and selection (installation, wiring, environment, adjustment, operation, maintenance, etc.) described below must also be followed.*Product specifications∙Use the specified voltage.Otherwise failure or malfunction can result.∙Applicable fluid is a fluid that does not corrode C3604 + electroless nickel plated, AI203 (aluminum oxide) and FKM.Do not use a fluid containing chemicals, synthetic oils including organic solvent, salt and corrosive gases.Otherwise, damage to the product and malfunction can result.Check the details of the specifications before using.∙Reserve a space for maintenance.Allow sufficient space for maintenance when designing the system.∙A ceramic diaphragm type pressure sensor is used in this product. The ceramic diaphragm can be damaged by overpressure from hydraulic shock, which can be generated when condensate in the fluid collides with the sensor during pressure fluctuation. This is also known as "water hammer".To mitigate hydraulic shock, it is recommended to insert an orifice between the fluid and the sensor. A gas pocket also needs to be between the orifice and the sensor to cushion the shock pulse. The sensor would then need to be located above the orifice with the orifice mounted vertically so that no fluid gets between the orifice and sensor. Some recommended and NOT recommended examples are shown in the following figure. PartnumbersZS-31-X175 or X188 are applicable orifices (called throttles in product literature).●Product handling*Installation∙Follow the specified tightening torque.Excessive tightening torque can break the Pressure Sensor.Insufficient tightening torque can displace the Pressure Sensor from the original position or loosen the mounting∙When piping, apply a spanner vertically to the piping section for the sensor.Applying the wrench in other position can break the Pressure Sensor∙Be sure to ground terminal FG when using a commercially available switch-mode power supply.∙Do not drop, hit or apply shock to the Pressure Sensor.Otherwise damage to the internal parts can result, causing malfunction.∙Do not pull the lead wire forcefully, not lift the product by pulling the lead wire. (Tensile force 35N or less) Hold the body when handling to avoid the damage of the Pressure Sensor lead to cause the failure andmalfunction.∙For piping of the Pressure Sensor, hold the piping with a spanner on the metal part of the piping(Piping attachment).Holding other part with spanner leads to damage the Pressure Sensor.∙Eliminate any dust left in the piping by air blow before connecting the piping to the product.Otherwise it can cause damage or malfunction.∙Do not insert metal wires or other foreign matter into the pressure measurement port.It can damage the Pressure Sensor causing failure or malfunction.*Wiring∙Do not pull the lead wires. In particular, never lift a Pressure Sensor equipped with fitting and piping by holding the lead wires.∙Avoid repeatedly bending or stretching the lead wire, or placing heavy load on them.Repetitive bending stress or tensile stress can cause the sheath of the wire to peel off, or breakage of the wire.If the lead wire can move, fix it near the body of the product. The recommended bend radius of the lead wire is 6 times the outside diameter of the sheath, or 33 times the outside diameter of the insulation material, whichever is larger.Replace the damaged lead wire with a new one.∙Wire correctly.Incorrect wiring can break the Pressure Sensor.∙Do not perform wiring while the power is on.Otherwise damage to the internal parts can result, causing malfunction.∙Do not route wires and cables together with power or high voltage cables.Otherwise the product can malfunction due to interference of noise and surge voltage from power and highvoltage cables to the signal line. Route the wires (piping) of the product separately from power or high voltage cables.∙Confirm proper insulation of wiring.Poor insulation (interference from another circuit, poor insulation between terminals, etc.) can lead to excess voltage or current being applied to the product, causing damage.∙Keep wiring as short as possible to prevent interference from electromagnetic noise and surge voltage.Do not use a cable longer than 30 m.Wire the DC(-) line(blue) as close as possible to the power supply.∙Ensure that the FG terminal is connected to ground when using a commercially available switch-mode power supply. When a switch-mode power supply is connected to the product, switching noise will be superimposed and the product specification can no longer be met. This can be prevented by insertinga noise filter, such as a line noise filter and ferrite core, between the switch-mode power supply andthe product, or by using a series power supply instead of a switch-mode power supply.*Environment∙Do not use the product in area that is exposed to corrosive gases, chemicals, sea water, water or steam.Otherwise failure or malfunction can result.∙Do not use in a place where the product could be splashed by oil or chemicals. If the product is to be used in an environment containing oils or chemicals such as coolant or cleaning solvent, even for a short time, it may be adversely affected (damage, malfunction, or hardening of the lead wires).∙Do not use in an area where electrical surges are generated. (EMI or Electro Magnetic Interference) If there is equipment which generates a large amount of EMI (solenoid type lifter, high frequency induction furnace, motor, etc.) close to the Pressure Sensor, this may cause deterioration or breakage of the internal circuit of the Pressure Sensor. Avoid sources of surge generation and crossed lines.∙The product is CE marked, but not immune to lightning strikes. Take measures against lightning strikes in the system.∙Mount the product in a place that is not exposed to vibration or impact.Otherwise failure or malfunction can result.∙Prevent foreign matter such as remnant of wires from entering the Pressure Sensor.Take proper measures for the remnant not to enter the Pressure Sensor in order to prevent failure or malfunction. ∙Do not use the product in an environment that is exposed to temperature cycle.Heat cycles other than ordinary changes in temperature can adversely affect the inside of the product.∙Do not expose the product to direct sunlight. If using in a location directly exposed to sunlight, shade the product from the sunlight.Otherwise failure or malfunction can result.∙Keep within the specified fluid and ambient temperatures range. The fluid and ambient temperatures should be -10 to 60 °C. Operation under low temperature leads to cause damage or operation failure due to frozen moist in the fluid or air.Protection against freezing is necessary. Air dryer is recommended for elimination of drain and water.Avoid sudden temperature change even within specified temperature.∙Do not operate close to a heat source, or in a location exposed to radiant heat.Otherwise malfunction can result.*Adjustment and Operation∙Do not short-circuit the load.∙If using the product to detect very small pressure rates, warm up the product for 20 to 30 minutes first. There will be a drift on the analogue output of approximate ±1% immediately after the power supply is turned on, within 10 minutes.*Maintenance∙Turn off the power supply, stop the supplied air, exhaust the residual pressure and verify the release of air before performing maintenance. There is a risk of unexpected malfunction.∙Perform regular maintenance and inspections. There is a risk of unexpected malfunction.∙Perform drainage regularly. If condensate enters the secondary side, it can cause operating failure of pneumatic equipment.∙Do not use solvents such as benzene, thinner etc. to clean the Pressure Sensor. They could damage the surface of the body and erase the markings on the body.Use a soft cloth to remove stains. For heavy stains, use a cloth soaked with diluted neutral detergent and fully squeezed, then wipe up the stains again with a dry cloth.○Names of parts of product•Only fluids which are non-corrosive to C3604 + electroless nickel plated, AI203 (aluminum oxide) and FKM should be used.○Handling precautions■Wiring○Connector pin numbersWhen the lead wire and connector (ZS-37-A or ZS-37-B) designated for the PSE570 is used, the wire colours will apply as shown in the diagram.Connector pin numbers (on the lead wire)•ZS-37-A•ZS-37-B*: The unconnected terminals are used in SMC, so please do not connect them.○How to connect the body and the lead wire and connector∙Align the lead wire connector with the connector key groove, and insert vertically.∙Connection is complete when the knurled part is fully tightened. The RT5713/14 provides Over-Temperature Protection (OTP) and Over-Current Protection (OCP) mechanisms to prevent the device from damage with abnormal operations. When the EN voltage is logic low, the IC will be shut down with low input supply current less than 1μA.EnableThe device can be enabled or disabled by the EN pin. When the EN pin is higher than the threshold of logic-high IC goes to normal operation. EN pin High transfer Low into shutdown mode, the converter stops switching, internal control circuitry is turned off and trigger discharge function. That discharge function will close after count 10ms (typ.). If systems need EN toggle operation that EN turn off time must larger than 100μs for internal circuit reset time. UVLO ProtectionTo protect the chip from operating at insufficient supply voltage, the UVLO is needed. When the input voltage is lower than the UVLO falling threshold voltage, the device will be lockout.100% Duty Cycle OperationThe converter enters 100% duty cycle operation once the input voltage decrease and the difference voltage between input and output is lower than V TH_100-. The output voltage follows the input voltage minus the voltage drop across the internal P_MOSFET and the inductor. Once the input voltage increases and trips the 100% mode exit threshold, V TH_100+, the converter backs to normal switching again. See Figure 1.RT5713/14V V V VFigure 1. Automatic Transition into 100% Duty Cycle Over-Temperature ProtectionWhen the junction temperature exceeds the OTP threshold value, the IC will shut down the switching operation. Once the junction temperature cools down and is lower than the OTP lower threshold, the converter will automatically resume switching. Output Voltage SelectionThe RT5713/14 provides 2 level output voltages which can be programmed via the voltage select pin VSEL without VOUT disable.Over-Current ProtectionTheOCP function is implemented by UGATE and LGATE. When the inductor current reaches the UGATE current limit threshold, the high-side MOSFET will be turned-off. The low-side MOSFET turns on to discharge the inductor current until the inductor current trips belowthe LGATE current limit threshold. After UGATE currentlimit triggered, the max inductor current is decided by the inductor current rising rate and the response delay time of the internal network.During OCP period, the output voltage drops below the setting threshold (typ. 0.4V) and the current limit value is reduced for lowering the devices loss, reducing the heat and preventing further damage of the chip. Due to internal propagation delay (t I_LIM_DELAY = 50ns), the actual inductor current can exceed the static current limit during that time. The dynamic current limit can be calculated as follows :()⨯IN OUT Current_limit_peak UGATE_Current_limit I_LIM_DELAYV - V I = I + LtUGATE Current limit levelI current_ limit_ peakI I_LIM_DELAY Figure 2. Thereby no warranty is given regarding its validity and accuracy. Customers should take responsibility to verify their own designs and to ensure the functional suitability of their components and systems. The RT5713/14 is a synchronous low voltage step-down converter that can support the input voltage rangefrom 2.2V to 5.5V and the output current can be up to400mA, peak to 0.5A (RT5713) / 600mA, peak to 1A(RT5714). Internal compensation are integrated tominimize external component count. Protection featuresinclude over-current protection, under-voltageprotection and over-temperature protection.Inductor SelectionThe recommended power inductor is 2.2μH andinductor saturation current rating choose followovercurrent protection design consideration. Inapplications, it needs to select an inductor with the lowDCR to provide good performance and efficiency.C IN and C OUT SelectionThe input capacitance, C IN, is needed to filter thetrapezoidal current at the source of the top MOSFET.To prevent large ripple voltage, a low ESR inputcapacitor sized for the maximum RMS current shouldbe used. RMS current is given by :I RMS = I OUT(MAX)×V OUTV IN×√V INV OUT-1This formula has a maximum at V IN= 2V OUT, where IRMS = IOUT / 2. This simple worst-case condition is commonly used for design because even significant deviations do not offer much relief. To choose a capacitor rated at a higher temperature than required. Several capacitors may also be paralleled to meet size or height requirements in the design. The selection of C OUT is determined by the Effective Series Resistance (ESR) that is required to minimize voltage ripple and load step transients, as well as the amount of bulk capacitance that is necessary to ensure that the control loop is stable. Loop stability can be checked by viewing the load transient response as described in a later section. The output ripple, ∆V OUT, is determined by:∆V OUT ≤ ∆I L(ESR+18×f SW×C OUT)Thermal ConsiderationsThe junction temperature should never exceed the absolute maximum junction temperature T J(MAX), listed under Absolute Maximum Ratings, to avoid permanent damage to the device. The maximum allowable power dissipation depends on the thermal resistance of the IC package, the PCB layout, the rate of surrounding airflow, and the difference between the junction and ambient temperatures. The maximum power dissipation can be calculated using the following formula :P D(MAX) = (T J(MAX) - T A) / θJAwhere T J(MAX) is the maximum junction temperature, T A is the ambient temperature, and θJA is the junction-to-ambient thermal resistance. For continuous operation, the maximum operating junction temperature indicated under Recommended Operating Conditions is 125°C. The junction-to-ambient thermal resistance, θJA, is highly package dependent. For a WL-CSP-6B 1.415x0.885 (BSC) package, the thermal resistance, θJA, is 125.6°C/W on a standard JEDEC 51-7 high effective-thermal-conductivity four-layer test board. For a WDFN-6L 2x2 package, the thermal resistance, θJA, is 47.5°C/W on a standard JEDEC 51-7 high effective-thermal-conductivity four-layer test board. The maximum power dissipation at T A = 25°C can be calculated as below :P D(MAX) = (125°C - 25°C) / (125.6°C/W) = 0.79W for a WL-CSP-6B 1.415x0.885 (BSC) package.P D(MAX)= (125°C - 25°C) / (47.5°C/W) = 2.1W for a WDFN-6L 2x2 package. The maximum power dissipation depends on the operating ambient temperature for the fixed T J(MAX) and the thermal resistance, JA . The derating curves in Figure 3 allows the designer to see the effect of rising ambient temperature on the maximum power dissipation.Figure 3. Derating Curve of Maximum PowerDissipationLayout ConsiderationsFor high frequency switching power supplies, the PCB layout is important to get good regulation, high efficiency and stability. The following descriptions are the guidelines for better PCB layout.④ For good regulation, place the power componentsas close as possible. The traces should be wide and short enough especially for the high-current loop.④ Shorten the LX node trace length and make it wide.Table 1. P A RTS AND T O OLS L I STParts Supplied in PackagingBefore installing your display Depth Sounder, please ensure that the following parts are included in the packaging:• Depth Sounder Display• Flush Mount Bracket and Hardware • Power Cable Attached to the Display • Warranty Cardat 941-538-7775Tools and Supplies Required for Installation • 2 1/8th” Hole Saw and Drill• Wire Connectors Suitable for Connecting the Power Wire to Your Vessel• Wire Cutting/Crimping Tool • Marine SealantDigital Depth SounderThe transducer supplied with the Depth Sounder is suitable for installation and oper-ation on most boats. For optimal performance the transducer should be mounted to the transom of the boat as per the installation instructions supplied with the trans- ducer. On fiberglass hulls up to 3 inches thick (non-cored) and some aluminum hulls up to 1/8th of an inch thick it can be glued to the inside of the hull, but this type of installation will reduce the performance of the display slightly. D I SPLAY I N STALLATIONInstallation of the Display1. Find a location on the boat that will allow clear viewing of the LCDDisplay. Please keep in mind that the wires for the transducer and power must reach the mounting location. 2. After finding the right location for the display, mark a 2 1/8th-inch hole.3. Check behind the desired mounting location for any cables or wiring which could be damaged, then cut out the 2 1/8th- inch hole and seal any exposed wood with a marine sealant.4. Insert the display from the front of the panel, and install the bracket and locking nut from the rear of the panel (see Figure 1). Make sure that the face of the display is rotated upright and aligned to your satisfaction for easy viewing from the vessel’s helm.Figure 1- 1 -The Bottom Reading is Random, Flashing, or Appears as “---” on the Display.1. The depth is less than2.5 feet or greater than 200 feet. Operate the display under normal operating specifications and check to see if it operating properly.2. If this condition occurs only at certain speeds, then a transducer adjustment is needed. Refer to the “Helpful Hints for Transducer Installation” section below. Refer to the Transducer Installation Instructions for adjustment procedures.3. Under certain circumstances the display may not perform at the best of its ability. Extremely dirty water, very soft bot- tom, high speeds, deep water, or a combination of the above may result in incomplete or inaccurate readings. Please refer to the Transducer Installation Instructions to minimize the effects of these conditions.4. If the transducer is transom mounted check to make sure that the transducer is not “kicked-up”. To prevent damage to the transducer, it will automatically release from the mounting bracket (kick-up) when it is impacted. If this occurs refer to the Transducer Installation Instructions to reset the transducer for normal operation. If this happens frequently make sure that the trailer or boat lift supports do not interfere with the transducer during loading and unloading.5. Check the transducer cable connection on the back of the display. Make sure that the connection is made as per the instructions in the Connecting the Transducer section of this manual.6. Contact Technical Support at 941-538-7775 for assistance if you are unable to correct the problem.67423 REV 4Under normal operation the unit will turn on and off with the external power supply (key switch). The manual power override allows the user to turn the unit OFF with the presence of a constant external power source (key switch on). This is especially helpful when there is not a switched external power source available to the unit, or the user wishes to turn the unit OFF to prevent interference with other sonar equipment on the vessel. To set the Manual Override:1. With the unit on, press and hold both the UP and DOWN buttons for 6 seconds.2. After 6 seconds the unit will display “OFF”.3. Release the buttons and the unit will continue to display “OFF” signifying no depth readings will be displayed nor will any depth alarms be active.4. The manual override is now set.To remove the Manual Override:1. Press and release any button (either UP or DOWN).2. The Manual Override is now off. The unit will operate as notmal and will power ON and OFF with the application of the external power source.NOTE: If the external power source is removed from the unit while in the manual override or “OFF”mode, the unit will automatically turn on when the external power is again applied. To reengage manual power override, follow steps 1 through 4 above.USA Sales/SupportVeethree Electronics and Marine 2050 47th Terrace East Bradenton, FL 34203 USA Tel 941-538-7775Fax 941-775-1222************************T R OUBLESHOOTINGThere are no user repairable parts within the display. Attempting to repair the display yourself will only void the warranty. If you have a problem with your display, consult the following troubleshooting guide. If this does not remedy your problem, please contact Technical Support at 941-538-7775 for assistance. The display Does Not Turn On.1. Check the inline fuse located on the main power supply to the display. If it is blown, replace it with a 1 amp, normal blow fuse. Clean all corrosion from the fuse housing, and replace the fuse holder assembly if necessary.2. Check the power cable connection. Be sure that the display is connected to a known power source: RED wire to pos- itive, BLACK wire to negative or ground.3. Ensure that the power source is powered using a test light, or some other reliable form of testing 12 volt power.4. If you are sure that the display is receiving power and is still not turning on, please refer to the warranty and service section.Wiring of the Power CableThe display has no ON/OFF switch. Therefore, you will need to wire it to a power source that will turn the display on as power is applied. The Key Switch or an ON/OFF power switch will be suitable for powering the display. 1. Connect the BLACK wire to the negative (-) battery terminal or suitable ground (see Figure 2).2. Connect the RED wire to a positive (+) 12 Volt switchable power source (key switch, on/off switch) (see Figure 2). Figure 2 + (red)- (black)Connecting the Transducer CableTo connect the transducer cable to the display, align the plug from the transduc- er with the plug from the display and press together as per figure Figure 3.Figure 3The display’s auto-ranging, auto-sensitivity features means that you never have to worry about adjustments. Simply turn the power on, and your ready to go. The display emits sound signals that travel through water, and then calculates the amount of time that elapsed while the signal traveled down to the bottom and returned back to the transducer. This time is calculated by the unit and displayed as a depth reading. Extremely dirty water, very soft bottom, high speeds, deep water, or a combination of the above may result in incomplete or inaccurate readings. Under these conditions variable readings or “- - -” (Figure 4) will be displayed.Setting the Units of MeasureThe UNITS of measure for depth readout and alarm functions can be set in 4 easy steps. The two set- tings available are Feet (FT) and Meters (M). To Set the Units:1. Press and hold the "UP" and "DOWN” keys at the same time for 5 seconds until the units indica- tor (FT or M) blinks (Figure 5).2. To set the units to FEET press the “UP” key. “FT” will flash on the Display.3. To set the units to METERS press the “DOWN” key. “M” will flash on the Display.4. The display will return to the normal operation mode automatically after five seconds.Setting the Shallow Water AlarmThe shallow alarm function can be set for depths ranging from 3 to 200 feet and triggers an alarmwhen the depth is less than the setting. The " "and " " icons will now be presentWhen triggered, the alarm sounds an audible "alarm" for ten seconds while flashing the warning LED and the " "and “ “ icons on the display. After 10 seconds the audible alarm mutes and the warning LED and the " " and " " icons continue to blink until the depth increases, or the alarm is reset. To reset the alarm repeat step 1 thru 4. Setting the Keel OffsetThe Keel Offset feature is used to adjust the depth readings displayed by the display to compen- sate for the depth of the water required for your vessel to operate safely. For Example: If your boat’s draft is 3 feet, the Keel Offset feature should be set to 3 feet. The display will then subtract 3 feet from the actual depth reading, and display this figure as the depth. If the water depth is 5 feet and the Keel Offset is set to 3 feet, the depth will be displayed as 2 feet, indicating to the operator that there is 2 feet of safe operating water. The maximum Keel Offset setting is 20 FT (6.1 M), settable in .1 (1/10th) Foot or Meter increments. The display will read “---” when a negative value occurs due to the Keel Offset Subtraction. To set the KEEL OFFSET:1. Press and hold the “UP” and “DOWN” keys at the same time for 3 seconds. When “K/O” begins flashing in the upper left hand corner of the display, release the keys. (see figure 8). Press the "UP” key to increase the Keel Offset value. Press the "DOWN" key to reduce the value. 3. The display will return to the normal operation mode after five seconds if no keys are pressed.4. “K/O” will remain illuminated in the top left hand corner indicating that the depth readings are adjusted to the Keel Offset setting.Figure 8- 3 -。

manner; 92% inhibition of the hHCN1-mediated current at 10 uM.
IC50 value: 10 uM(92% 92% inhibition of the hHCN1) [1]
Target: hHCN channel antagonist The pharmacological properties of hHCN1-mediated currents resembled those of native hyperpolarization-activated currents (I(h)), that is, blockade by Cs(+) (99% at 5 mm), ZD 7288 (98% at 100 microm) and zatebradine (92% at 10 microm) [1]. When voltage-clamp pulse trains were applied, cilobradine induced a use-dependent blockade of If that was stronger and faster than that with zatebradine. Recovery from
blockade during prolonged hyperpolarization was significantly faster with zatebradine [2]. The selective HCN blocker zatebradine reduced the activity of oriens-lacunosum moleculare interneurons in wild-type but not HCN2...
