一、教材分析
定语从句是本单元的语法要点,是在1-8单元已经对该语法知识有所渗透的前提下安排的。
本节课话题是让学生体会音乐在生活中无处不在,体会不同类型音乐的特点,学会热爱生活;能用简单的定语从句形式表述自己的观点。
通过本节的学习,增强学生对复合句的理解,提高其对此句式的应用能力。
二、三维目标
1、知识目标:
掌握本单元基本词汇,学会恰当的使用引导词that
2、能力目标
1)掌握功能句What kind of music do you like ? I like music that I can dance to .
2)能够用定语从句自如地谈论自己所喜欢的音乐和音乐家。
3、情感目标:
通过学生谈论对音乐和音乐家的好恶,从而使学生学会欣赏音乐的美。
三、教学重难点
重点:用定语从句表达喜好。
难点:在定语从句中运用恰当的关系词。
四、教学过程设计
Step 1 创设情景,导入新课
1. 播放不同类型的音乐,向学生们询问,what kind of music do you like?
2. 要求学生以互相问答的方式说出自己所喜欢的音乐种类,并且了解到国内外常见的音乐种类。

3. 学习新单词lyrics . prefer
设计意图:本课开始用音乐导入,很快吸引住了同学们的注意力,同学们也很乐意自发地来讨论音乐,并且互相了解对音乐的喜好。
充满激情的音乐营造了欢快的学习气氛,使学生情绪高涨,同时学习新单词。
在这个教学环境中,学生是活动的主体,教师只充当了“节目主持人”的角色。
Step2:师生互动,学习探究
1.听录音完成1b练习(巩固所学单词)
music that I can dance to

2.让学生朗读1a和1c的句子。
学生通过观察,讨论,总结,归纳that的用法。
设计意图:
听的环节是“输入”的过程,带着问题听,让学生在听的过程中有的放矢,有效捕捉信息,同时又提醒学生注意观察并发现需要注意的表达方式,为后面的语言实践准备实用句型。
学生们以小组讨论的方式进行观察,探讨,分析,归纳,得出正确结论。
让所有的学生都参与讨论探究,这既体现了以学生发展为本的教育思想,又调动了学生的积极性与创造性。
学生们自己发现的规律要比老师讲解所学到的规律在脑海中的印象深刻得多,理解的透彻。
Step3:合作交流,巩固提高
1. 做链接游戏4人一组。
第一个同学说I like music.
第二个同学说I like music that I can dance to.
第三个同学说:I like music that I can dance to, but…
设计意图:
变换语境操练是机械模仿进一步的发展,对语言运用的能力的要求又有所提高,有利于开发学生的创新能力和求异思维能力,这样的活动增加了趣味性,使紧张的气氛得到缓解。
2..让学生们做问卷调查,去调查同学以及老师对音乐和电影的喜好。
运用本节课所学到的句子。
a: what kind of music/movies/……do you like?
b: I like music/movies /…… that ……
what about you?
a: I prefer music /movies /……that ……
设计意图:气氛更加活跃起来,同学们也更加地放开来问,让所有的同学都可以开口说,提高他们的自信心,告别哑巴英语。

的说改被动为主动。

仔细观察本课所学习的含有定语从句的句子,它们都有一个关系词,这个关系词是______, 大家再观察这个词前面的名词----先行词,都是表示________(物还是人),所以当先行词是某物时,关系代词用______.
设计意图:学生通过自己观察,自主归纳总结定义从句的用法,再现本节课重难点,提高课堂效率。
