NBU安装
NBU安装指南之NetBackup 基础知识活动节点集群环境中的指定节点,该节点上安装了 NetBackup,并且 NetBackup 可从此节点推送至集群中的其他节点。
此外, NetBackup 服务在活动节点上运行。
不活动节点集群环境中的不活动节点上安装了 NetBackup,但 NetBackup 和 NetBackup 服务没有运行。
迁移当某个节点不可用时就会发生迁移(通常称为故障切换),集群资源将被迁移到可用节点上。
节点在服务器集群中,两台或更多的服务器(称为节点)在网络中链接在一起并运行集群软件,这种软件使得每个节点都能够访问可连接任意多个磁盘的共享 SCSI 总线。
主节点或首选节点在集群环境中大多数时间应处于活动状态的节点。
虚拟主机名NetBackup 环境已知的集群的名称。
这是客户机在它们的服务器列表中的名称,也是服务器在与客户机节点通信时使用的名称。
虚拟 IP 地址这是集群的 IP 地址。
虚拟服务器名称应解析为该地址。
NetBackup 基础知识NetBackup 的工作机制NetBackup 具备三种主要功能:◆ 使管理员能够创建备份策略以备份数据。
◆ 保存备份目录并存储数据,在需要时进行检索。
◆ 如果发生灾难,可提供强大的恢复工具来恢复存储的数据。
什么是备份策略?备份策略用于为所有具有相似备份要求的客户机组配置执行备份的方式和时间。
什么是目录备份?NetBackup 将有关(定期)备份的重要信息保存在称为目录的一组文件中。
目录包含有关配置、状态、错误和已经备份的文件和文件夹的信息。
目录还跟踪已备份数据的位置。
目录备份是目录的备份副本,它是 NetBackup 操作所必需的。
例如,如果磁盘发生故障导致目录文件丢失,则最简单的恢复方法是从目录的备份副本恢复目录。
此副本可用于恢复以前备份的数据并继续执行预定的定期备份。
这两种目录格式的目录备份过程是相同的。

它包括哪些服务器需要备份、备份哪些目录或文件、在什么时间备份、采用什么方式进行备份等。
配置NBU主要指定义备份策略。
2)Schedule(备份时间表)它用来定义在什么时间进行备份和归档的操作。
它用来定义做全备份,还是增量备份或者用户自己备份、是否归档,备份的频度,备份磁带保留多长时间,可以备份的时间段等。
3)Storage Unit(存储单元)存储单元指将备份作业按备份设备类型分组。

目前,NBU是国际上使用最广的备份管理软件。
NBU采用全图形的管理方式,同时提供命令行接口,适应不同的用户需求。
它提供了众多的性能调整能力,从管理角度看,其高性能特征十分明显。
如提供多作业共享磁带机、大作业并行数据流备份、完善的监控报警、动态备份速度调整等能力,为用户的集中式存储管理提供了灵活和卓有成效的手段。
通过管理界面,管理员可以设置网络自动备份策略,这些备份可以是完全备份,也可以是增量备份。
管理员也可以手动备份客户端数据。
客户端用户可以从客户端备份(Backup)/恢复(Restore)/归档(Archive)自己的数据。

6.0版本还需要安装一个rs的包然后再开始安装master serverWindows:将安装光盘放入光驱,选择Launch.exe双击运行NEXT,直到出现选择master server、Media server 和admin console的界面时输入license之后master server和media server变为可选状态,选择master server进行安装选择typical方式安装配置企业介质管理服务器,一般默认选择master server2、安装media server同master server 安装类似,只是在选择界面选择media server即可3、安装client 端可以将介质传到客户端进行安装,也可以通过在master server上安装同时分发到各个客户端,我们选择分发的方式进行安装。

存储单元指将备份作业按备份设备类型分组。如 4mm 磁带机、DLT 磁带机、LTO 磁带机、 本地磁盘等。在一种备份服务器上有可能存在多种类型的备份设备。 介质管理器(Media Manager):它是 NBU 软件的一个模块,针对磁带或光盘设备。它在备份或 归档时调度磁带或光盘,并控制上带/卸带动作。 硬盘:NBU 可以将数据备份到本地硬盘上。它使用于需要快速备份的场合。 NDMP:NDMP 也是由介质管理器控制,但连接到 NDMP 主机上。
4. Maximum fragment size 这一里指明 NetBackup 保存备份时使用的最大的 fragment 尺寸,使用 Fragment 有这样几个好处: a) 当存储单元是磁盘时,可以指定小于 2GB,这样可以避免某些操作系统的局限性; b) 当 NetBackup 与 HSM 一起使用时,可以减少回迁时间; c) 当备份或归档到磁带库上时,可以减少恢复时间; 如果指定 0,则表示不使用 Fragment 如果修改 Fragment,我们还可以恢复原来的备份

将用户设定的整个目录或文件全部备份。
9) Differential Incremental Backup(增量备份) 备份上一次备份以来,更新过的文件。不管上一次备份是全备份、增量备份,还是累积备 份。

Install grommets into all wire passage holes.•If this manual states that this product may be mounted with suction cups, magnets, tape or Velcro®, clean the mounting surface with a 50/50 mix of isopropyl alcohol and water and dry thoroughly.•Do not install this product or route any wires in the deployment area of your air bag. Equipment mounted or located in the air bag deployment area will damage or reduce the effectiveness of the air bag, or become a projectile that could cause serious personal injury or death. The User/Installer assumes full responsibility to determine proper mounting location, based on providing ultimate safety to all passengers inside the vehicle.•For this product to operate at optimum efficiency, a good electrical connection to chassis ground must be made. The recommendedprocedure requires the product ground wire to be connected directly to the NEGATIVE (-) battery post (this does not include products that use cigar power cords).•If this product uses a remote device for activation or control, make sure that this device is located in an area that allows both the vehicle and the device to be operated safely in any driving condition.•Do not attempt to activate or control this device in a hazardous driving situation.•This product contains either strobe light(s), halogen light(s), high-intensity LEDs or a combination of these lights. Read and follow all of Whelen’s written instructions when installing or using this device. Emergency vehicles are often operated under high speed stressful conditions which must be accounted for when installing all emergency warning devices. Controls should be placed within convenient reach of the operator so that they can operate the system without taking their eyes off the roadway. Emergency warning devices can require high electrical voltages and/or currents. Properly protect and use caution around live electrical connections.Grounding or shorting of electrical connections can cause high current arcing, which can cause personal injury and/or vehicle damage, including fire. Many electronic devices used in emergency vehicles can create or be affected by electromagnetic interference. Therefore, after installation of any electronic device it is necessary to test all electronic equipment simultaneously to insure that they operate free of interference from other components within the vehicle. Never power emergency warning equipment from the same circuit or share the same grounding circuit with radio communication equipment. All devices should be mounted in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and securely fastened to vehicle elements of sufficient strength to withstand the forces applied to the device. Driver and/or passenger air bags (SRS) will affect the way equipment should be mounted. This device should be mounted by permanent installation and within the zones specified by the vehicle manufacturer, if any. Any device mounted in the deployment area of an air bag will damage or reduce the effectiveness of the air bag and may damage or dislodge the device. Installer must be sure that this device, its mounting hardware and electrical supply wiring does not interfere with the air bag or the SRS wiring or sensors. Mounting the unit inside the vehicle by a method other than permanent installation is not recommended as unit may become dislodged during swerving; sudden braking or collision. Failure to follow instructions can result in personal injury. Whelen assumes no liability for any loss resulting from the use of this warning device. PROPER INSTALLATION COMBINED WITH OPERATOR TRAINING IN THE PROPER USE OF EMERGENCY WARNING DEVICES IS ESSENTIAL TO INSURE THE SAFETY OF EMERGENCY PERSONNEL AND THE PUBLIC.Warnings to UsersWhelen’s emergency vehicle warning devices are intended to alert other operators and pedestrians to the presence and operation of emergency vehicles and personnel. However, the use of this or any other Whelen emergency warning device does not guarantee that you will have the right-of-way or that other drivers and pedestrians will properly heed an emergency warning signal. Never assume you have the right-of-way. It is your responsibility to proceed safely before entering an intersection, driving against traffic, responding at a high rate of speed, or walking on or around traffic lanes. Emergency vehicle warning devices should be tested on a daily basis to ensure that they operate properly. When in actual use, the operator must ensure that both visual and audible warnings are not blocked by vehicle components (i.e.: open trunks or compartment doors), people, vehicles, or other obstructions. It is the user’s responsibility to understand and obey all laws regarding emergency warning devices. The user should be familiar with all applicable laws and regulations prior to the use of any emergency vehicle warning device. Whelen’s audible warning devices are designed to project sound in a forward direction away from the vehicle occupants. Make sure that the strobe light does not interfere with the proper operation of these lights (Fig. 2).•There must be a minimum of 1” of space between the strobe light and the lens.•The strobe light must not be installed above the horizontal centerline of the reflector.•The strobe light must not be installed above any OEM-supplied light.2.Remove the reflector assembly from the vehicle. Choose a surface inthe rear or bottom of the housing which is as flat as possible. Using a hole saw, cut a 1” hole (+0.030”/-0.000” tolerance) in the housing as shown in Fig. 1. Be sure to de-burr this hole completely. Mount the thermal disc onto the strobe light assembly with the disc holes aligned with the lamp ears as shown.ing a twisting motion, insert the lamp/thermal disc assembly intothe reflector housing until it snaps into its proper position. Do not force the lamp into position. Mark the location for the two mounting holes (0.105” dia.). Remove the lamp assembly and drill the holes in this area.4.Re-install the lamp ass’y and using the hardware provided, securethe lamp to the reflector assembly as shown.WARNING: High Voltage on glass tube. This strobe lamp unit is an open flash tube with no protective lens. Proper installation is required. Do not touch the strobe tube assembly while in operation.IMPORTANT NOTE: If the S30HA_P is being used in an area previously occupied by an S30HA light assembly, it is important for the installation technician to seal the mounting holes used by the previous assembly with RTV or other suitable material!CABLE INFORMATIONOn each end of the optional 3-conductor power cable is a shield wire. Cut this wire on the end connected to the strobe light head assembly flush with the cable jacket. The shield wire on the cable end to be connected to the strobe power supply is to be grounded to the vehicle chassis when the radio or other communication system interference is a problem. If this shield wire is not grounded, cut it flush with cable jacket. KEEP THIS WIRE AS SHORT AS POSSIBLE WHEN GROUNDING.NOTE: For radio frequency interference protection, it is advisable to ground the shield wire on the power supply end.NOTE: Whelen strobe light systems are designed to interface with the Whelen UPS strobe light power supply. Detailed wiring, switching and installation instructions are enclosed with the UPS unit. WARNING: When connecting the AMP connector housing to the AMP pins and sockets located on the 3-conductor cable, OBSERVE THE COLOR OF THE WIRES TO BE CONNECTED TO PIN NUMBER POSITIONS as indicated in Fig. 3.WARNING: The Strobe Light Power Supply is a high voltage device. Do not remove strobe tubes or dismantle strobe light head assembly while in operation. WAIT 10 MINUTES after turning off power before starting work or any trouble shooting.WARNING! All customer supplied wires that connect to the positive terminal of the battery must be sized to supply at least 125% of the maximum operating current and FUSED at the battery to carry that load. DO NOT USE CIRCUIT BREAKERS WITH THIS PRODUCT!WARNING! Automotive composite housings use low-temp plastic in their construction. The use of strobe power supplies in excess of 10 watts per outlet, may cause the housings to melt. Use the supplied thermal disc around each HA239 as shown to conduct the heat away from the vehicle reflector housing.* When using the HA239 with the SPS660, it is important to follow these connectivity guidelines:•When using only 2 strobe lights, ONLY USE outlets 1 & 2!•When using only 4 strobe lights, ONLY USE outlets 3, 4, 5 & 6! NBU存储单元配置--图文并茂(二)(图形篇)在上文中,已经讲解了NBU设置备份策略中的所有的属性的含义和用法,在本文中,将继续上文的介绍,讲述如何在建立备份策略的过程中配置日程表、文件列表和客户端的内容。
一,设定日程表:图一:日程表选项卡由图一可见,在点击了日程表(Schedule)选项卡后,其日程表是空的,需要点击“New…”去新建日程表。
见图二图二:新建日程表由图二可见,在设置NBU日程表有四个选项卡,分别是属性、启动时段、排除日期和日历日程表(日历日程表仅仅在日程表类型下出现),现在让我们分别来介绍一下:a.属性选项卡1,名称:首先需要为新建的日程表起一个有意义的名字,比如account_full表示财务部的完全备份日程表等等,没有特殊的限制。
2,备份类型:一般来讲,备份类型分为全备份、差分备份、增量备份、用户备份和用户归档等类型,区别如下:(a)全备份就是将所有数据全部备份起来;(b)差分备份就是备份自上一次备份以来发生改变的部分;(c)增量备份是将自最近一次全备份以来的所有改变的部分;(d)用户备份指的是客户端用户可以执行的备份;(e)用户归档指的是客户端用户可以执行的归档。
其中,用户最容易混淆的概念就是差分备份和增量备份的,因为他们都是只备份差异文件,他们的区别之处在于差异的内容不同:差分备份只保存上次差分备份之后的变化内容,而增量备份保存的是自上次全备份以来的所有改变。
举例来说,假设周日做过一次全备份,如果周一和周二做过差分备份,然后周三需要恢复的时候,NBU会先得到周日的全备份的内容将数据恢复到周日的状态,然后根据周一的差分备份,将数据恢复到周一的状态,然后在用周二的差分备份将内容恢复到周二的状态,周日、周一、周二的备份内容缺一不可。
在上例中,如果用户周一和周二做的是增量备份,那么只需要周日的全备份和周二的增量备份,即可恢复内容到周二的状态,因为周二的备份记录了周日以来发生的改变,周一的增量备份不再需要。

每日固定的维护工作主要有两个:1.确认定时的备份是否按时进行2.运行的备份是否成功已设定的备份策略见《配置文档》。
平时可在管理机上运行NetBackup Administration Console,打开Activity Monitor。
对已进行的备份作业进行监控。
注意观察Status一栏,如果状态号为0,表示备份成功;不为0则表示备份有故障,可查看Details并根据TroubleShooter的提示进行故障诊断。
如果是Oracle类型的备份策略发生错误,除了在Activity Monitor中的Job Details中查看错误,还可以登录到运行Oracle的服务器,查看相关的“.out”文件。
该文件中记录了RMAN运行时的日志信息。
例如,类型为Oracle的Policy中的ClientList为Server_ABC,scripts文件名为/oracle/scripts/db_backup.sh,则日志文件为Server_ABC上的/oracle/scripts/db_backup.sh.out。
排除故障后,手动发起失败的作业。
二、常用操作1. 启动NetBackup服务器reboot并启动HACMP后,需手工启动NetBackup(也可将启动指令放在HACMP的启动脚本中)。
也可通过以下指令检查NetBackup进程是否运行:/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bpps –a启动NetBackup指令为:/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/goodies/netbackup startNB三个进程MM五个进程2. 停止NetBackup/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/goodies/netbackup stop (正常停止)/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/goodies/bp.kill_all (强制停止)3. 手动发起备份作业如果需要手动发起备份策略:Administration Console -> Master Server -> NetBackup Managerment -> Policy,选中相应的Policy,右键,选择Manual Backup,并选相应的Schedule、Client(如果不选Schedule,则备份retention level 最高的schedule;如果不选Client,则备份所有client)。

2. 介质管理2.1添加介质2.1.1通过robot自动搜索1.在NetBackup Administration Console中,选择左面板中的Media and Device Management中的Robot,点击鼠标右键,选择Inventory Robot,如图19图192.出现Media搜索内容窗口,在Inventory type选项框中选择“show contents”,点击start,如图20图203.再在Inventory type选项框中选择“update volume configuration”,点击start,如图21图212.1.2手工添加1.在NetBackup Administration Console中,选择菜单中的action→new→new volumes,如图22图222.在New volumes窗口中,在Media type下拉框中选择1/2” cartridge tpe,在Media ID中输入介质标志,如A00001,在First Slot中输入此介质在磁带库中的正确槽位号码,在V olume pool中输入此介质所属的介质池,如Netbackup。
如图23图232.2修改介质属性1.在NetBackup Administration Console中,选择左面板中的Media and Device management中的media,选择要修改的介质,如A00001,点击鼠标右键,选择change,如图24图242.在change volumes窗口中,可以修改media的各种属性,如介质描述、所属介质池及过期日期等参数,如图25图25注:当介质已经分配日期后,在此不能修改介质的过期日期,可以通过bpexpdate来设置介质的过期日期。
2.3删除介质1.在NetBackup Administration Console中,选择左面板中的Media and Device management中的media,选择要删除的介质,如A00001,点击鼠标右键,选择delete,如图25图252.如果介质已经分配日期(即已经写入内容),介质在此不能删除,出现错误提示“could not delete 0004l1,It is assigned”,如图26图26注:只有没有分配日期的介质可以在此进行删除,已经分配日期的介质可以通过vmquery命令来取消介质分配,再进行删除。
3.通过Netbackup Administration中的Media and Device Management来查看和配置存储设备、介质,如图27所示图273. 查看Device状态通过Netbackup Administration中的Media and Device Management来查看driver的状态,如果当前driver中有介质(即正在进行备份或恢复作业),则会显示“1driver(1 active 0 down)”,并且在External Media ID中显示介质ID;如果driver中没有介质,则会显示“1 driver(0 active 0 down)”,如图28图284. 配置Host属性通过Netbackup Administration的Netbackup Managemnet左面板中的Host Properties来设置Master Server及Client的属性。
