In most of the universities in China, sports classes should be compulsory. However, some students grumble about this rule. From my perspective, it is necessary for us to have sports classes.
There is no doubt that sports help us build up our body and are beneficial to our health. However, some students argue that it makes no differences improving their health, only to have classes once or twice a week. Most of us may find it difficulty to get good grades only with the exercises in the classes. Therefore, the majority of students have to exercise more after class.
We are able to gain lots of fun and entertainment from sports. Some students believe that they can do sports in their spare time. When they are pushed to do them, their passions in sports classes will fade away. Honestly speaking, few students can persist in doing exercise regularly on their own. They are inclined to study, play computer games or go shopping.
Doing sports is good for ensuring our overall development. However, some students deem that they can not get a good job just because they are healthy. Only certificates and abilities can speak for them. As far as I am concerned, companies will not hire you just for your good health, and you may be unemployed because of your ill health. What more, doing sports help you become energetic , which makes you study and work efficiently.
To sum up, making sports classes compulsory at university is not only helpful to our health but also our study. Therefore, I hope that all can enjoy your sports classes.。
