“采访(interview)”成就英语高效课堂1. “采访(Interview)”的概念及特点采访就是“交谈、会话”,即在交谈中采访者以问题的形式从被采访者那里获取所需信息;而被采访者则通过倾听问题,积极思考,迅速作答,从而达到交际的目的。
学生参与的英语课堂教学“采访”活动具有以下显著优点:1.1 提供了活化教材知识的机会,有利于巩固学习所学的语言知识高中英语课程标准中强调从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认识水平出发,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式。
如果对于教材中语言知识的学习仅仅局限于背诵、复述或机械的习题操练的话,就无法达到根本的教育目的。
毫无疑问,只有创造性地运用教材,方可为学生提供更多的机会参与到学习中来。
“采访”正是一种可以鼓励学生利用已学知识进行真实交际的语言活动。
这一活动基于学生对课文理解,并积累必要的语言素材基础之上,鼓励学生活用教材,运用英语进行表达。
不仅可以改变学生被动学习的状况,而且促使学生主动参与,巩固所学语言知识,并形成有效的学习策略。

1.3 提出了用英语思考的要求,有利于发展学生的高阶思维采访是一种具有合作性、实践性、创新性、真实性、交际性的语言交际活动。
学生在参与“采访”时,拥有独立思考的空间和时间,需要运用英语进行联想、推理等思维活动来分析问题和解决问题。
因此,在参与活动的过程中,他们的英语思维自然会得到发展与提高。
1.4 营造了愉悦的学习氛围,有利于提升学生的人文素养苏霍姆林斯基说过“在人的心灵深处,都有一种根深蒂固的需要,这就是希望感到自己是一个发现者、研究者、探索者。
不要使掌握知识的过程让学生感到厌烦,不要把他引入一种疲劳和对一切都漠不关心的状态,而要使他的整个身心都充满欢乐。
”笔者认为“采访”正是一种能让学生身心愉悦地参与学习的有效方式。
在宽松、民主、和谐的学习氛围中,学生从问题的设计、到采访的互动过程中可以获得合作、探究、体验、参与实践的快乐。
独立探究与合作能力得到提升,集体荣誉感和成就感得到了增强,学生还可以因此获得积极情感。
显而易见的是“采访”必定可以促进学生人文素养的提升,对学生的全面发展和长远发展有重大的影响。
2. “采访”设计的原则与实施2.1 采访活动设计的原则(1)以文本解读为基础新课标规定高中英语教学要面向全体学生,为学生的终身发展奠定共同基础。
要实现面向全体学生这一目的,就要找到最佳的可利用教学资源和媒介,创造条件让学生能够探究他们感兴趣的问题,学会自主解决并能够在人际交往中得体地使用英语。
显而易见,英语课本就是最佳文本选择。
在设计采访活动时,应以课文学习为基础,让学生在解读文本的基础上,进行深度挖掘,创造性地思维。
而且,对课本中话题的熟悉度还可以缓解学生由于陌生话题而产生的焦虑情绪,促使学生在积极的情感氛围下更自信地发挥,实现有效的交往任务。
如在讲授完高中英语必修1第4单元的Reading: A Night the Earth Didn’t Sleep这一篇文章后,笔者布置了一个“采访”任务型活动,以达到让学生对课文文本的进一步解读与巩固。
如,其中一个学习小组的采访涉及到以下角色:科学家,政府官员,幸存者,志愿者,并含有以下采访信息:(To the scientist) What were the signs that appeared before the earthquake? Why did people just ignore those important signs?What should be done in the future?(To the official) What measures were taken to help the place to recover after the earthquake?(To the survivor) What impressed you most before and after the disaster? And I wonder whom you feel grateful to.(To the volunteer) What made you come here to help the people trapped here?在采访中,学生对课文相关信息进行整理与分析,对文本的解读更“深”了,把文本信息变“活”了。
这种以课本学习为基础的交际活动,能有效地提高学生运用英语进行交际的能力。
(2)以问题设计为引领“采访”的有效性,必须要以问题为引领。
问题的设计就是整个活动的关键环节。
如果不重视问题的有效设计,那么学生在采访中,交往会停留在平淡的日常交往层面,那样就不利于启发学生的高阶思维。
而且,学生的语言运用能力也会受到牵制。
所以,在采访活动设计中,一定要高度重视采访问题的设计。
必要时,教师要给予帮助和引导,如支架式教学可以给学生方向的指引,让他们逐步能独立思考,创造性地提出更多有深度、有价值的采访问题,以保证采访活动的有效性。
(3)以小组合作为途径要实现”采访”成功,必须要以小组合作为途径。
独立的个体无法完成采访活动。
采访活动本身离不开合作。
在这种需要合作学习的采访活动中,教师要尽可能地鼓励学生互相学习、互相帮助,体验集体荣誉感和成就感,增强合作精神,建立更融洽的交流渠道,提升交往的有效性,实现语言教学的目的。
(4)以交际展示为契机高中英语教学要培养学生的能力之一就是让学生在人际交往中得体地使用英语。
这也正是英语课堂教学中设计采访活动的目的之一。
所以,要充分以交际展示为契机,实现学生运用语言的能力。
让学生敢于用英语进行交流与表达,充分利用“采访”平台用英语进行真实交际,促进学生思维能力、想象力、协助能力、创新能力等综合素质的发展与提升,让采访活动真正地实现其在课堂教学中存在价值的最大化,实现课堂教学的最优化。
2.2 “采访”的实施在课堂教学中要认真、扎实地实施采访活动,以实现活动的有效性。
其流程如下:流程一:精选采访的材料,奠定交际的基础在高中英语教学中,并非每一单元的话题都适合设计采访活动。
如果滥用采访活动这种形式,也许会使活动平淡、乏味。
所以,教师要精选部分话题的文本作为采访的材料,奠定交际的基础。
如:在高中英语人教版教材中,关于人物的几个单元都可以作为采访的重要材料,如设计“名人专访”等活动,为学生创设真实的交际基础。
流程二:设计采访的问题,抓住交际的灵魂在精选采访材料之后,教师要启发,指导学生能设计出合理的采访话题,避免采访活动流于形式。
除了设置出紧密连接文本内容的有效话题外,要有价值话题的设置,如有利于实现情感教育和培养学生高阶思维为目标的问题。
如高中英语必修四第二单元,学生在“名人专访――袁隆平” 活动中设计了如下问题:Q1: What have you dreamed of since your childhood?Q2: What made the two dreams rooted so deeply in your heart?Q3: I guess you must have experienced many failures on your road to success. What do you think of those failures?Q4: Why do you consider yourself an ordinary farmer while others regard you to be a great scientist?Q5: I know you have donated most of your money to organizationsto do scientific researches. And you choose to live a very simple life, which made some of the rich feel confused. Would you like to explain your attitude towards money?Q6: You always seem to be energetic and delighted. Do you think it has something to do with your hobbies?学生围绕课文关于袁隆平的生平事迹、人生观、价值观和个人爱好等方面的信息而设计的采访问题,不完全拘泥于文章,且又富有创新性、开放性和交际性等特点。
学生通过参与这样的活动,语言综合运用能力一定能够得到提高。
而且,在采访中,他们还可以享用到“精神大餐”。
流程三:构建采访的小组,创设交际的途径设计出有效的问题之后,更重要的就是要保障小组的合作。
小组间成员要有合理的分工意识和团队合作的精神,让每个学生实现最好的自己。
以小组合作为途径以实现交际的成功。
流程四:鼓励采访的展示,实现交际的目的在课堂采访活动中,还要抓好最后也是至关重要的一个环节,即学生的展示环节。
关注学生的表现欲,促使学生综合能力的提升。
在这个过程中,教师科学有效的评价尤其是实现采访活动的重要保障。
3. “采访”取得的效果与反思在高中课堂教学中,运用“采访”不仅可以巩固学生语言知识、提高学生语言技能、促进学生高阶思维的发展与人文素养的提升。
同时,“采访” 也可以提高学生英语学习兴趣、优化学生英语学习策略、培养学生自主学习能力,提高高中英语课堂教学质量。
但是,在实施这种教学活动的过程中,有时候由于学生文本解读不到位,或者小组合作不融洽等因素,易出现“采访”过于程式化,形式化或精英化,不能完全达到预期效果。
这些问题有待在教学实践中不断反思,进行更深入的探究与改进。
