我的理想生活是开开心心过每一天的英语作文

我的理想生活是开开心心过每一天的英语作文

我的理想生活是开开心心过每一天的英语作文Here is a 1000-word essay on the topic "My Ideal Life is to Live Every Day Happily and Joyfully":Living each day happily and joyfully is the ultimate dream for many people around the world. In a fast-paced and often stressful modern world, the ability to find contentment and fulfillment in the simple everyday moments is a true gift. For me, my ideal life would be one where I am able to wake up each morning feeling refreshed and excited about the day ahead, living with a sense of purpose and gratitude. At the heart of my ideal life would be a deep connection to the natural world. I would love to live in a peaceful, rural setting surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors - perhaps a cozy cottage nestled in the mountains or a home overlooking a serene lake. Being able to step outside my door each day and breathe in the fresh air, feel the warmth of the sun on my face, and hear the peaceful sounds of birds chirping would fill me with a profound sense of joy and inner calm.I am someone who finds great solace and inspiration in nature, and being able to immerse myself in its wonder on a daily basis would be incredibly nourishing for my spirit. Whether it's going for a long hike, tending to a vegetable garden, or simply sitting quietly and observing the changing seasons, connecting with the natural rhythms of the earth would be a cornerstone of my ideal lifestyle. I believe that this deep communion with the natural world would instill in me a profound sense of gratefulness and mindfulness, allowing me to truly savor each moment rather than constantly rushing through life.Alongside my connection to nature, another crucial element of my ideal life would be a career that is deeply meaningful and fulfilling to me. Rather than chasing after material wealth or status, I would want a job that allows me to utilize my unique talents and passions in service of a greater good. Perhaps I would be a teacher, inspiring young minds to reach their full potential. Or maybe I would work for a non-profit organization, dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of those in need. Whatever the specifics, the key would be finding work that energizes me, that allows me to grow and contribute in a way that aligns with my core values and brings me a profound sense of purpose. In addition to a career that is meaningful, another important aspectof my ideal life would be having strong, nourishing relationships with the people I love. I cherish the deep bonds of family and friendship, and in my perfect world I would be surrounded by a network of loved ones with whom I could share laughter, support each other through life's challenges, and create cherished memories. Whether it's weekly family dinners, regular hiking trips with close friends, or spontaneous game nights, I would want to prioritize quality time with the people who matter most to me.At the same time, I also deeply value my alone time and the ability to recharge and reconnect with myself. In my ideal life, I would have a healthy balance between social connection and quiet solitude - perhaps starting each morning with a mindfulness meditation practice before diving into the day, or setting aside one evening a week to curl up with a good book. Being able to regularly check in with myself, to reflect on my inner landscape, and to nurture my own emotional, mental, and spiritual wellbeing would be essential.Of course, no life is ever perfect, and even in my ideal world there would undoubtedly be challenges and difficulties to navigate. But I believe that with the right mindset and tools, I could approach these obstacles with resilience, compassion, and a sense of perspective. Perhaps I would turn to journaling or creative expression as a way to process my emotions, or lean on the support of my loved ones when I'm feeling overwhelmed. And I would strive to maintain an attitudeof gratitude, focusing on all that I have to be thankful for rather than dwelling on what's lacking.Ultimately, my vision of an ideal life is one where I am able to live each day with a profound sense of joy, purpose, and connection - to the natural world, to my loved ones, and to my own inner self. It's a life filled with simplicity, mindfulness, and a deep appreciation for the beauty that can be found in the everyday moments. While it may not be a perfectly smooth or problem-free existence, it would be a life that leaves me feeling genuinely content, fulfilled, and alive. That, to me, is the ultimate dream.。

Each passage is followed by some questions or unfinished statements. For each of them there are four choices marked A), B), C) and D). You should decide on the best choice.Passage OneQuestions 31 to 35 are based on the following passage.Pronouncing a language is a skill. Every normal person is expert in the skill of pronouncing his own language; but few people are even moderately proficient in pronouncing foreign languages. Now there are many reasons for this, some obvious, some perhaps not so obvious. But I suggest that the fundamental reason why people in general do not speak foreign languages much better than they do is that they fail to grasp the true nature of the problem of learning to pronounce, and consequently never set about tackling it in the right way. Far too many people fail to realize that pronouncing a foreign language is a skill —one that needs careful training of a special kind, and one that cannot be acquired by just leaving it to take care of itself. I think even teachers of language, while recognizing the importance of good accent, tend to neglect, in their practical teaching, the branch of study concerned with speaking the language. So the first point I want to make is that English pronunciation must be taught; the teacher should be prepared to devote some of the lesson time to this, and his whole attitude to the subject should get the student to feel that there is a matter worthy of receiving his close attention. So, there should be occasions when other aspects of English, such as grammar or spelling, are allowed for the moment to take second place.Apart from the question of the time given to pronunciation, there are two other requirements for the teacher: the first, knowledge; the second, technique. It is important that the teacher should be in possession of the necessary information. This can generally be obtained from books. It is possible to get from books some ideas of the mechanics of speech, and of what we call general phonetic theory. It is also possible in this way to get a clear mental picture of the relationship between the sounds of different languages, between the speech habits of English people and those, say, of your students. Unless the teacher has such a picture, any comments he makes on his students' pronunciation are unlikely to be of much use, and lesson time spent on pronunciation may well be time wasted.31.What does the author actually say about pronouncing foreign languages?A) There aren't many people who are even fairly good at it.B) Only a few people are really proficient.C) No one is really an expert in the skill.D) There are even some people who are moderately proficient.正确答案:C32.The author argues that going about the problem of pronunciation in the wrong way is __________.A) an obvious cause of not grasping the problem correctlyB) a consequence of not grasping the problem correctlyC) a fundamental consequence of not speaking wellD) not an obvious cause of speaking poorly正确答案:C33.The best way of learning to speak a foreign language, the author suggests, is by ___________.A) picking it up naturally as a childB) learning from a native speakerC) undertaking systematic workD) not concentrating on pronunciation much正确答案:C34.The value the student puts on correct speech habits depends on _________.A) how closely he attends to the matterB) whether it is English that is being taughtC) his teacher's approach to pronunciationD) the importance normally given to grammar and spelling正确答案:C35.How might the teacher find himself wasting lesson time?A) By making ill-informed comments upon pronunciation.B) By spending lesson time on pronunciation.C) By not using books on phonetics in the classroom.D) By not giving students a clear mental picture of the differences between sounds.正确答案:DPassage TwoQuestions 36 to 40 are based on the following passage. In the world of entertainment, TV talk shows have undoubtedly flooded every inch of space on daytime television. And anyone who watches them regularly knows that each one varies in style and format. But no two shows are more profoundly opposite in content, while at the same time standing out above the rest, than the Jerry Springer and the Oprah Winfrey shows. Jerry Springer could easily be considered the king of "trash talk (废话)". The topics on his show are as shocking as shocking can be. For example, the show takes the ever-common talk show themes of love, sex, cheating, guilt, hate, conflict and morality to a different level. Clearly, the Jerry Springer show is a display and exploitation of society's moral catastrophes (灾难), yet people are willing to eat up the intriguing predicaments (困境) of other people's lives. Like Jerry Springer, Oprah Winfrey takes TV talk show to its extreme, but Oprah goes in the opposite direction. The show focuses on the improvement of society and an individual's quality of life. Topics range from teaching your children responsibility, managing your work week, to getting to know your neighbors.Compared to Oprah, the Jerry Springer show looks like poisonous waste being dumped on society. Jerry ends every show with a "final word". He makes a small speech that sums up the entire moral of the show. Hopefully, this is the part where most people will learn something very valuable.Clean as it is, the Oprah show is not for everyone. The show's main target audience are middle-class Americans. Most of these people have the time, money, and stability to deal with life's tougher problems. Jerry Springer, on the other hand, has more of an association with the young adults of society. These are 18- to 21-year-olds whose main troubles in life involve love, relationship, sex, money and peers. They are the ones who see some value and lessons to be learned underneath the show's exploitation. While the two shows are as different as night and day, both have ruled the talk show circuit for many years now. Each one caters to a different audience while both have a strong following from large groups of fans. Ironically, both could also be considered pioneers in the talk show world.36.Compared with other TV talk shows, both the Jerry Springer and the Oprah Winfrey are __________.A) more family-orientedB) unusually popularC) more profoundD) relatively formal正确答案:C37.Though the social problems Jerry Springer talks about appear distasteful, the audience __________.A) remain fascinated by themB) are ready to face up to themC) remain indifferent to themD) are willing to get involved in them正确答案:A38.Which of the following is likely to be a topic of the Oprah Winfrey show?A) A new type of robot.B) Racist hatred.C) Family budget planning.D) Street violence.正确答案:C39.Despite their differences, the two talk shows are both _________.A) ironicalB) sensitiveC) instructiveD) cynical正确答案:B40.We can learn from the passage that the two talk shows ____________.A) have monopolized the talk show circuitB) exploit the weaknesses in human natureC) appear at different times of the dayD) are targeted at different audiences正确答案:DPart III Vocabulary and Structure ( 10 minutes )Directions: There are a number of incomplete sentences in this part. live each day as if it were the last day of our life

live each day as if it were the last day of our life

Steve Jobs mentioned a quote at his commencement speech of Stanford University, if you live each day as if it were your last, someday you'll most certainly be right. I am totally agreed upon this ing Steve Jobs' example, this quote really made an impression on him, he said, for the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: "If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?" And whenever the answer has been "No" for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something. Now what he achieved proves it right. Let’s suppose today is your last day then what would you do? I'm not suggesting you quit your job, tell off the neighbors or stop paying your bills, but rather to look at the areas of your life that matter most to you. Will you? I think the answer is "YES!" Some people may retort us if we live each day as if it were the last day, we can be much stressed. In some degree, it may be a problem. But it is not a problem indeed. If we do not feel afraid that we will die when we wake up tomorrow but treat each day remaining as a gift we own, then we may say,"oh,bravo! I have one day remaining. What really an inspiring thing!" We choose to feel grateful for what we have today not to cry for what we will lose tomorrow. Living every day as if it were the last day of our life is an attitude toward life. We choose to make a difference everyday and make every day make sense. Goldfish can only remember things for three seconds. But in every three seconds, it tries its best to make its life more meaningful. Do you believe that every day we have is a gift we get from god? One of billions sperms meets one of billions eggs then your mother gave birth to you. You are more fortunate than your brothers or sisters who did not have this opportunity. Do you believe everything happens for a reason? Nothing happens by chance or by means of good or bad luck. Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they weremeant to be there, they serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help figure out who you are and who you want to become. You never know who these people may be: they can be your neighbor, child, long lost friend, lover, or even complete stranger who, when you lock eyes with them, you know at that very moment that they will affect your life in some profound way. And you still have one day even though you never know whether you cannot open your eyes tomorrow when you close your eyes tonight. You should cherish this day you have. Franklin once said "The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today." When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive - to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love. Be grateful for each day we have. Live every day as if it were the last day. Cherish those people those things making sense to you. Life will be better.。

Such an attitude would emphasize sharply the values of life. We should live each day with gentleness, vigor, and a keenness of appreciation which are often lost when time stretches before us in the constant panorama of more days and months and years to come. There are those who, of course, who would adopt the epicurean (享乐者) motto of "Eat, drink, and be merry," but most people would be chastened (磨练) by the certainty of impendent death. It has often been noted that those who live, or have lived, in the shadow of death bring a mellow sweetness to everything they do. Most of us, however, take life for granted. We know that one day we must die, but usually we picture that day as far in the future. When we are in buoyant (乐观的) health, death is all but unimaginable. We seldom think of it. The days stretch out in an endless vista. So we go about petty tasks, hardly aware of our listless attitude toward life.正确答案:emphasize正确答案:vigor正确答案:appreciation正确答案:constant正确答案:motto正确答案:impendent正确答案:take life for granted正确答案:unimaginable正确答案:stretch out正确答案:listlessPart II Reading Comprehension ( 24 minutes )Section ADirections: In this section, there is a passage with several blanks. In a special school for the hearing-impaired, he learned sign language and got to mix with other disabled children. However, the sight of all the disabled children communicating with one another upset his mother. She wanted him to lead a normal life. So after speaking to an advisor, she sent him to private classes where he learned to read lips and pronounce words.Later on, Adrian's parents decided to send him to a regular school. But the headmaster tried to prevent them from doing so; saying regular school couldn't take care of special needs students. His parents were determined to take the risk and push him hard to go through his work everyday because they wanted to prove that, given the opportunity, he could do anything. A serious illness, which her doctor called "acute congestion of the stomach and brain," destroyed her sight and hearing at the age of about one. For almost five years, she grew up, as she later said, "wild and unruly, giggling and chuckling to express pleasure; kicking, scratching, uttering the choked screams of the deaf-mute to indicate the opposite." Then Helen's father took her to Alexander Graham Bell. He advised Keller to write to the Perkins Institution for the Blind in Boston. Shortly before the child was 7, Anne Sullivan arrived from Boston to teach her, who remained with Helen Keller until her death. Then Mary Agnes "Polly" Thomson, who had been Keller's secretary, took Sullivan's place.First she learned to write. Sullivan was able to make contact with the girl's mind through the sense of touch. Gradually, the child was able to connect words with objects. Once she understood, her progress was rapid. Then she learned to speak. Until she was 10 years old, Keller could talk only with the sign language of the deaf-mute. She decided she would learn to speak and took lessons from a teacher of the deaf. By the time she was 16, she could communicate well enough to go to preparatory school and to college. Finally she helped others. After college, Keller became concerned with the conditions of the blind and the deaf-blind. She became active on the staffs of the American Foundation for the blind and of the American Foundation for overseas Blind. In her later years, she became especially interested in bettering the conditions for the blind in developing and war-ravaged countries. An enthusiastic and untiring traveler, she lectured on their behalf in more than 25 countries on every continent except Antarctica.Keller received many awards of great distinction. They include the Chevalier's ribbon of the French Legion of Honor, the Alumni Achievement Award of Radcliffe College, and decorations from many governments.36.What caused Helen Keller's losing sight and hearing?A) A car accident.B) A serious illness.C) It was caused when Helen Keller's mother was pregnant.D) It just happened, no one knew the reason.正确答案:B37.For several years before Sullivan came, ______.A) Helen had to express herself in simple wordsB) Helen had been a wild and unruly little girlC) no one took care of Helen's studyD) Helen had been unable to make any sound正确答案:B38.At the age of ten, Helen _______.A) had learned to speak a little bitB) could communicate well enoughC) began to go to schoolD) decide to learn to speak正确答案:D39.Which of the following is NOT TRUE according to the passage?A) Helen graduated from college when she was only 20.B) Helen devoted herself to the welfare of the blind and the deaf-blind.C) Helen called on wealthy people to give financial support to the disabled.D) Helen traveled around the world to give lectures.正确答案:C40.What can be inferred from the passage?A) Helen Keller owed her success to her strong character.B) Helen Keller has become a symbol of courage for many people.C) Helen Keller was an active worker for the poor people.D) The disabled will remember Helen Keller forever.正确答案:BPart III Vocabulary and Structure ( 10 minutes )Directions: There are a number of incomplete sentences in this part. 盛年不重来,一日难再晨英语作文

盛年不重来,一日难再晨英语作文全文共10篇示例,供读者参考篇1Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Timmy. Timmy loved to play outside with his friends, ride his bike, and explore the woods behind his house. He was always full of energy and excitement, and he never wanted to waste a minute of his precious time. One day, Timmy's grandmother told him a story about a man who had wasted his youth and regretted it when he became old. The man had always thought that he would have plenty of time to do all the things he wanted to do, but he soon realized that time was slipping away faster than he had ever imagined.Timmy listened intently to his grandmother's story, and it made him think about how he was spending his own time. He realized that he was always in a hurry to grow up, to be a teenager, and to be an adult. But in doing so, he was missing out on the joys of childhood - the simple pleasures of playing with his friends, exploring the world around him, and living in the moment. From that day on, Timmy made a promise to himself to cherish each moment and make the most of his youth. He played outside every chance he got, climbed trees, built forts, and laughed until his sides hurt. He made memories that would last a lifetime, and he knew that he would never look back on his childhood with regret. As Timmy grew older, he never forgot the lesson he had learned from his grandmother's story. He continued to live life to the fullest, always grateful for the present moment and never taking a single day for granted. And when he looked back on his life as an old man, he knew that he had truly made the most of his youth - because he understood that the prime of life only comes once, and it should never be wasted. So let us all remember, my friends, that the prime of life is a precious gift that should be cherished and enjoyed to the fullest. For once it is gone, it will never return - and we will always look back and wish that we had made the most of our youth. So let us live each day with joy, gratitude, and a heart full of love, for we never know when the morning will come again.篇2Title: Carpe DiemHey guys! Do you know the saying "," means "One's prime years do not come again, it is difficult to have another good morning in a day" in English? It's a really cool phrase that reminds us to make the most of our time when we are young and full of energy. So today, let's talk about the importance of seizing the day and living in the moment! When we are young, we have so much energy and enthusiasm to try new things, learn new skills, and make unforgettable memories. However, as we grow older, we might regret not taking advantage of our youth and wasting our time on things that don't truly matter. That's why it's important to seize the day and make the most of every moment we have! One way to seize the day is to set goals for ourselves and work hard to achieve them. Whether it's getting good grades in school, learning a new sport or hobby, or making new friends, setting goals helps us stay motivated and focused on what's important to us. By working towards our goals every day, we can make the most of our time and achieve great things!Another way to seize the day is to live in the moment and appreciate the little things in life. Whether it's spending time with friends and family, enjoying the beauty of nature, or simply taking a moment to relax and reflect, living in the moment helpsus appreciate the present and be grateful for what we have. By living in the moment, we can create happy memories that will last a lifetime. So remember, guys, "," means that our prime years will not come again, and every morning is a new opportunity to make the most of our time. Today, I want to share with you why it's important to seize the day and how we can do that.First of all, why should we seize the day? Well, life is short and we never know what tomorrow will bring. We should cherish each day and make the most of it. Whether it's spending time with our family and friends, pursuing our passions, or tryingsomething new, we should take advantage of every opportunity that comes our way. Time flies by so quickly, and we don't want to have any regrets about what we didn't do.So, how can we seize the day? One way is to set goals for ourselves and work towards achieving them. It's a lesson we can all learn from, no matter how old we are.So, once upon a time, there was a young girl named Lily. She loved to play outside, read books, and spend time with her friends. But sometimes, she would procrastinate and waste her time on things that didn't really matter. She would say to herself, "I'll do it tomorrow," or "I have plenty of time."But one day, Lily's grandmother told her a story about a man who wasted his youth and regretted it when he got older. The man kept saying, "I'll do it tomorrow," until one day he realized that tomorrow never came. He missed out on so many opportunities and experiences because he kept putting things off.Lily was so inspired by her grandmother's story that she decided to make a change. She started to appreciate every moment and make the most out of every day. She took up new hobbies, spent more time with her loved ones, and worked hard in school. She realized that the present moment is all we have, and we should cherish it.As Lily grew older, she looked back on her life with pride and contentment. She had lived a full and meaningful life, with no regrets. She knew that she had made the most out of her youth and never wasted a single day.So, my dear friends, let's remember that youth is precious and we should make the most out of every moment. Let's not waste our days saying, "I'll do it tomorrow," but instead, let's seize the day and live our lives to the fullest. Remember, "Sheng nian bu chong lai, yi ri nan zai chen" - youth does not return, and each day is hard to come by. Let's make the most of it!。

oomed hero is usually saved at the last minute by some stroke of fortune, but almost always his sense of values is changed. he becomes more appreciative of the meaning of life and its permanent spiritual values. It ahs often been noted that those who live, or have lived, in the shadow of death bring a mellow sweetness to everything they do.
Three Days to See
假如给我三天光明
All of us have read thrilling stories in which the hero had only a limited and specified time to live. Sometimes it was as long as a year; sometimes as short as twenty-four hours. But always we were interested in discovering just how the doomed man chose to spend his last days or his last hours. I speak, of course, of free men who have a choice, not condemned criminals whose sphere of activities is strictly delimited.

Live Each Day
Having experienced Wenchuan earthquake, having seen so many deaths, having known the power of nature, What do you think of living?
When I was in senior 3, just as others did, I lived a busy and monotonous life. However, one day, something happened The girl sitting in front of me was diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately, she had already been in the terminal stage before the disease was found .When I heard this news, I could hardly believe my ears. What an outgoing and enthusiastic girl she was! How could she catch this illness? Then, she was absent for a week.
One week later, she came to the classroom and packed up all her things. She had to stay in hospital and thus, couldn’t go to school. She acted so calmly as if nothing had happened .Though ,We all concerned for her ,we didn’t display our anxiety .When she finally left the classroom, I thought she may not return to us anymore.
Hawkins once said “Where there is life, there is hope.” Nevertheless, for many people, to stay alive is so hard. According to the UN Surveys, there are more than one billion seven hundred million people live in poverty, which means death is only one step away from them Apparentiy ,we are far luckier than those people just because we’re still
alive .
For we collage students, life is full of temptations .We may lose our target and waste our time. Or, we may give up our initial dreams under the great pressurt. If someone of us is really trapped in this Kind of situation, just think of those who died in earthquakes, those who are in desperate starvation, those who are ravaged by wars. Then ,we can realize how precious our life is .
Now that we’re alive ,we ought to do something meaningful. Just as Steve Jobs said “Your time is limited , so don’t waste it living someone el se’s life. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.”Go and realize your dreams, so that when you leave this world ,you can say you leave no regrets. You can say it proudly that “I gave my all , did my best. I did , I’ve done something . I was here.”
Yes, jusu do it! Live each day to prove you were here.。
