2018年英语a级考试真题及答案

2018年英语a级考试真题及答案全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1The 2018 A-Level English Exam - A Kid's TakeWow, can you believe it? The big kids had to take theirA-Level English exam last year in 2018! That test must have been super hard. I'm just a little kid in elementary school, but I tried my best to understand the questions and answers. Let me tell you all about it!First up was the reading comprehension section. They had to read these giant passages and answer questions about them. One passage was about the history of video games. How cool is that? I would have aced that part for sure because I'm a pro gamer! The questions asked things like what year the first video game was created and what some of the most popular games were. Easy peasy for this gaming expert! Then there was a passage about climate change and the environment. That one seems a bit boring to me, but I know it's a really important topic. The questions asked students to summarize the main points and explain some of the causes andeffects of climate change. I may have struggled with that one since I'm just a kid and don't know too much science yet. But I'm sure all those smart older students wrote great answers. The writing section looked hard! Students had to write different types of essays and articles. One prompt asked them to give their opinion on whether PE classes should be mandatory in schools. As a kid who loves gym class and recess, I definitely would have said yes to keeping PE! We need time to run around and get our energy out. Another prompt wanted students to write a short story from the perspective of an inanimate object. How weird is that? Like writing as a pencil or a water bottle? I'd try my best, but I'm not sure how good my story would be.Then there were questions on grammar, punctuation, spelling and vocabulary. Ugh, that's the boring stuff! But it's probably important for doing well on the exam. I'm still learning lots of those grammar rules in school. Vocabulary is fun though –I'm picking up new words all the time from books I read. The exam also had a section on spoken language skills. Students had to answer questions based on recordings of conversations and speeches. That sounds really hard to me! Listening carefully is one of the trickiest things. I often zone outwhen my teacher is talking. Hopefully I'll get better at listening by the time I'm old enough for my A-Levels.So yeah, that's my take on the 2018 A-Level English exam questions and answers! It seems crazy difficult to me as a little kid. I can't even imagine having to take a test like that. Those teenagers must be super smart and work really hard in school. I'll just be over here reading comics and playing video games for now. Maybe someday I'll be ready for an exam that intense. But ugh, not for a loooong time!篇22018 English A-Level Exam: A Kid's PerspectiveWow, the 2018 English A-Level exam was really hard! I'm just a kid in elementary school, but my older brother had to take it since he's in his last year of high school. He let me look at the questions after he was done and I have to say, I'm super glad I didn't have to answer those! The first section was all about reading comprehension. There were a few long passages to read and then tons of questions about analyzing the writing style, identifying themes, making inferences, and all that complicated stuff. One passage was about the history of some ancient civilization. Another was somereally old poem that didn't make any sense to me. My brother said understanding those passages and questions was like trying to read alphabet soup! Then there was a section on literary analysis. The students had to write essays analyzing specific novels, plays, and poetry collections that they had studied in their English courses. Can you imagine having to write a whole essay just analyzing one book? And these weren't even fun, modern books - they were all classics from like a billion years ago that nobody actualy enjoys reading anymore. Snooze fest!My personal favorite section was the creative writing part. Students had to choose from a handful of writing prompts and craft either a narrative story or a descriptive essay. One prompt was to write a story about going on an adventure. Another prompt asked students to describe their dream vacation destination in great detail. Those could actually be kind of fun for a kid to write about! Although knowing the exam graders, they probably wanted super serious, scholarly responses without much creativity or imagination. After the creative writing was a huge grammar section where they had to analyze sentences, identify parts of speech, explain proper usage of punctuation and capitalization, and prove theyknew all sorts of crazy grammar rules that nobody actually follows when speaking and writing in real life. Who even talks like that anyways? Not me!The very last section covered literary techniques and devicES like metaphor, simile, rhyme scheme, foreshadowing, paradox, and other fancy literary terms. Students had to identify examples of each technique in given excerpts. Then they had to explain how certain techniques were used to contribute to the overall meaning or effect of the written works. Sounds kind of complicated if you ask me!By the end of it all, my brother looked exhausted. He said it was one of the hardest tests he'd ever taken, with so many reading, writing, and analyzing tasks to complete in one sitting. I'll admit, some of the creative writing prompts piqued my interest. But having to write essays analyzing ancient literature and identify all those literary techniques and grammar rules? No thank you! I'll stick to reading Captain Underpants and watching Phineas and Ferb for now. When I'm in high school and have to take that crazy A-Level English exam, someone please remind me of this essay so I can start studying wayyyy in advance. Or maybe I'll just pursue a career in something that doesn't involve so much reading andwriting. Like a zookeeper or racecar driver! Now those jobs sound fun. Anyways, mad props to any students who can master all that reading, writing, and literary analysis required for theA-Level English tests. You're going to need those skills if you want to get into a good university. As for me, I'll keep working on mastering the art of good ol' show-and-tell!篇32018年英语A级考试真题及答案嗨,大家好!我今天要给大家介绍一下2018年的英语A级考试真题及答案。

雅思A类大作文真题范文:建筑设计 2018-03-10: Hongkong; Mongolia; Indonesia

When designing building the intended use of the building should be taken into account as important rather than the outward appearance. To what extent do you agree or disagree?范文1:During the construction of new building, various aspect should be considered, but their use and outward appearance are most important aspects. In my opinion, when designing a new building both aspects should be taken into account because during the construction of hotels, outward appearance should be beautiful as it has a major impact on tourists and guests. When constructing building architects take care of every aspect such as durability, strength, and designing of the new building. no doubt building should be robust, it must withstand harsh conditions such as during an earthquake or other drastic conditions. Only beauty cannot compensate these points. With the scarcity of land, buildings could be designed in such a way that it will accommodate more people in small space. in big cities architects made flats either 1BHK, 2BHK or 3BHK, it help in accommodation of more people under one roof and in the same building they also provide extra-curriculum activities such as Gym, Swimming, and parking. they made building or space more useful and also their beautiful architecture attract people to live in flats. While constructing commercial buildings or hospitals, their durability and beauty both are considered. Buildings should be properly ventilated so that minimum air conditioning is required in summers. As in big cities, 45-48 C temperature is reached in summers, due to improper ventilation people install air conditioners which again rise the outward temperature and also expel harmful gases. In conclusion, a building should fulfill all criteria its appearance attracts people and its durability or strength astonished people.范文2:Some individuals opine that the most vital aspect when designing a building is its function rather than its outer aesthetics. I somewhat agree with this viewpoint as although a good-looking building enhances the beauty of its surroundings, without meeting its basic function, it would be a waste. On the one hand, a building that has an appealing appearance may be a source of beautification of its locality that may be able to encourage people to visit it as it may serve as an incentive for tourism, leisure or work. For example, the bath houses of Brighton are well-known for their bright and colorful designs and promote tourism in the state of Victoria. Similarly, attractive university campuses and office spaces are deemed to be popular study and work destinations among young adults. However, the function of a building is of pivotal importance when considering its design. A building needs to accommodate the needs of its owners, residents and patrons. Specifically, one basic necessity of any building is safety, that is, it needs to be sturdy and durable. However, nowadays, there are many fashionable styles of buildings that compromise their stability and safety. For example, in India, an architectural firm gained popularity for its one-of-a-kind designs and, a few years later the designs were claimed as unsafe when many of the buildings collapsed during a minor earthquake. As a result, several resources were wasted and many lives were endangered in light of the importance given to outward appearance of the buildings over their basic functionality. In conclusion, I agree to some extent that the purpose of a building is of utmost importance instead of the external aspects when designing it, as without serving the primary functions, a building would be a waste of essential resources and even risky.。

Humans tend to copy one another, especially in fashion, choice of cloths and consumer goods. Do you agree or disagree.Provide your reasons and example from your own experience.范文1:Nowadays fashion is spreading its roots in this jet age of 21st century. It has been extremely debatable whether humans idolize to imitate others or not in terms of outfits, food items so on. Here, i would like to accord with given statement. There are numerous reasons to support my view point. First and foremost, global advertisment has made the world as a global village and various fashion companies establish their branches in entire world to sale innovative fashion things in every supermarket of the world. As a result, people try to collect those things which are prevalent all over the world. For example, china sale its products frequently not only in india but also in other parts of world as they are economical simulteneously sperior. Consequently, people prefer to imitate others in fashion and consumer goods.Furthermore, we all are living in glamorous where various fashion industries develop new fashion all accross the world further, people use them and try to imitate. Consequently, advertisment tempt to people to wear same dress of their celebrities. In addition, there is a dire needs for everyone to update with modern world trends therefore, people adopt new inventions of fashion in whole world. What is more, in term of lifestyle, people want to compete each others by uplifting their life as they want all things which are using by their neighbour and community. As a result, people adore to copy others in terms of consumer goods and fashion. Moreover, due to technology, people come to know about popular things which are in vogue at world wide therefore, they indulge in rate race of achieving prevalent things by internet so, they try to copy othere. To recapitulate, i think, it has become a fashion to imitate othere to enhance their lifestyle.范文2:Some people think consumers’ preferences of buying similar products such as clothes show their tendency to copy each other. I disagree with this statement. It is undeniable that some people choose to buy clothes with high popularity in order to follow a trend, and by following others, they can get a sense of belonging, connection, and identity. For example, teenagers tend to wear Vans sneakers rather than high heels because Vans has been made into an identity of young people. Especially in a student union group, members often wear clothes in similar style so that they feel connected and belonged. Consumers also buy popular products due to others’recommendation. This happens frequently when people see online reviews when comparinga few products. If they follow others’ advice when making purchase decision, this would result in buying things that cater for others’ taste. However, the above reasons are not enough to explain the phenomenon of buying well-liked products. In more cases, it is the positive traits of a product that motivate consumers to buy. For instance, without the superior attributes of Apple products, be it the on the cutting edge technology or the user-friendly detailed design, it would not have enjoyed such huge followings in the market. Besides, price is another factor that consumers take into account when purchasing. Every type of products has a target group of consumers, and often, the middle-class cannot afford luxury goods so that they buy economical things, and those products therefore become well liked in this class.Above analysis suggests that although the consumption of some popular products are affected by consumers’ attempt to conform with others, other factors such as quality and price also lead to the popularity of some products.。

范文 In contemporary society, most families are capable to afford home appliances such as television, microwave, oven and so on. It is generally accepted that those technological goods have brought great convenience to our life although they do generate negative effects on environment. In terms of merits of using domestic appliances, the most obvious is that people’s quality of life has been boosted. Take TV as an example; watching TV is a preferable means of relaxation for people to spend their leisure time and release stress, with amusing programs, entertainment news as well as soap operas shown on the screen. Another case is that the application of microwave, oven and rock cookers in the kitchen saves housewives from heavy housework and even assists them in cooking delicious meals efficiently. Furthermore, consumers’demands for electric appliances stimulate the development of manufacturing industries, which creates more job opportunities and bring the government increasing tax revenue. However, it must be admitted that the worldwide use of household appliances inevitably contributes to environmental degradation. To commence with, in an attempt to maintain these devices function, a great amount of electricity has to be consumed, which is largely generated from fossil fuels such as coal and petroleum. In the long run, the scarcity of natural resources will become a tough issue for human beings. In addition, harmful gas emission is another big concern. As a matter of fact, in the use of fridge and air conditions, Freon (a kind of chemical gas) is emitted into air, leading to the destruction of ozone layer. In conclusion, as far as I am concerned, it is a positive development that people can purchase various electric appliances. However, environment-friendly technology should be adopted in its production to protect environment.三立在线教育雅思频道为大家提供2018年最新的雅思备考资料,需要的同学可免费领取。

2018年1月20日亚太区雅思A类大作文写作题Today people are surrounded by advertising. This both affects what people think is important and has a negative impact on people’s lives. To what extent do you agree or disagree?原创范文These days, advertising has penetrated into every corner of the society. No matter where one goes or what one does, it seems that advertisements can always find its way to appear in front of people’s eyes, on billboards, flyers, pop-ups, and even smart phone apps. With so much exposure, I believe that advertising plays a role in swaying people’s decisions and its overall impact on people’s lives tends to be negative.Intrusive and persuasive advertisements have led to a shift in personal values. In the past, people had this firmly established belief that “you cannot have everything”, and they would only purchase what they could afford and truly need. Nowadays, however, when advertisements in the media say “have this, and you will have the world” “buy now, pay later!”, “0 down payment”, a large number of people could be lured to take things home regardless of whether he or she has the money to pay off the balance, thanks to the easy access to consumer credit. Today’s people gradually accept the idea that life is short, and satisfying one’s wants is above everything else. The negative effects advertising exerts on people’s lives can be seen from two aspects. For one thing, ubiquitous advertisements persuade consumers to make impulsive purchases and spend much more than they should. In some worse situations, those who lack self-discipline may even get themselves in debts hard to pay, leading to heavy life burden. For another, even when people successfully resist the temptation and make sensible decisions about purchase, they can be put under pressure psychologically, wondering whether they have been left out of fashion or whether their friends who can afford more live a happier life than they do.There is no denying that adverting sometimes can inform people of the latest products and thus enable people to make judgements about which to buy. However, considering that commercial adverts are usually designed with a hidden agenda, and tend to exaggerate the conditions of a certain product, consumers are not truly informed. To sum up, advertising, being both intrusive and persuasive, has greatly affected people’s lives, leading to more spending instead of saving. To prevent the negative effects of advertisements, government needs to legislate to guarantee the truthfulness of adverts’ contents, and individuals should be educated about rational buying.(383 words)声明:本文为苏外国际部冯艳华老师原创,仅供考生参考学习,未经许可不得用于商业用途。

2018年英语a级作文

2018年英语a级作文

2018年英语a级作文英文回答:In the realm of creativity, the debate between innate talent and acquired expertise has sparked countless discussions among artists, educators, and psychologists alike. While some contend that artistic aptitude is an inherent gift bestowed upon select individuals, others argue that it is a skill that can be honed and cultivated through deliberate practice and learning.Proponents of the innate talent theory posit that artists are born with a predisposition for creating and expressing themselves through artistic mediums. They assert that talent manifests itself early in life, with young prodigies exhibiting exceptional abilities in painting, music, or writing. These individuals are believed to possess an intuitive understanding of artistic principles and a natural ability to translate their emotions and experiences into creative works. On the other hand, proponents of the acquired expertise theory maintain that artistic ability is not innate but rather a result of sustained and dedicated practice. They argue that anyone with the necessary motivation and commitment can develop artistic skills through training, experimentation, and feedback. According to this perspective, talent is not a fixed trait but a malleable quality that can be shaped through deliberate effort and a growth mindset. While both innate talent and acquired expertise may play a role in artistic development, the relative significance of each remains a subject of ongoing debate. Some research suggests that genetics may contribute to certain artistic abilities, such as pitch recognition or spatial visualization. However, other studies have shown that even those with a genetic predisposition for art may not achieve their full potential without mentorship, training, and opportunities for creative expression.Ultimately, the question of whether artistic ability isinnate or acquired is likely a complex one that cannot be fully answered by either theory alone. It is probable thata combination of both factors contributes to the emergence and development of artistic talent. While some individuals may have a natural aptitude for art, others can cultivate their abilities through hard work, dedication, and a supportive environment.中文回答:在创造力的领域中,先天才能与后天学习之间的争论引起了艺术家、教育者和心理学家之间的无数讨论。

We had to listen to recordings and answer questions about them. It was a bit challenging because they spoke so fast! But I did my best and managed to get through it.Finally, there was the speaking section. We had to talk about different topics with the examiner. So, like, last month I took the A-level English exam and I wanna talk about it. It was kinda tough, you know, but also kinda fun. Let me tell you all about it!First off, there were like a bunch of reading passages and we had to answer questions about them. Some of them were about really random stuff, like the history of paper or the benefits of exercise. It was pretty cool to learn new things, though. But man, some of those questions were tricky. Like, they would ask you about the tiniest details from the text, and you had to really pay attention. Then there was the writing part. We had to write an essay on a topic of our choice. I wrote about the importance of friendship, 'cause I think it's super important to have good friends. I tried to use lots of fancy words to impress the examiners, but honestly, I just wanted to get my point across.Overall, I think the exam was challenging but it also made me feel kinda smart, you know? I'm proud of myself for getting through it, and I can't wait to see my results. English is such a fun subject, and I hope I did well!篇8The 2018 June English A-level exam was super tough, guys! I mean, it was like trying to solve a Rubik's cube while riding a unicycle and juggling bananas at the same time. But hey, we all survived it, right? The first question was all about grammar. They asked us to identify the correct verb tense in a sentence. I was like, "Umm, isit present perfect or past perfect or future perfect?" It was so confusing, but I eventually figured it out with a little bit of guesswork and luck. Then came the reading comprehension section. We had to read this super long passage about the history of chocolate (yum!) and answer questions about it. Some of the questions were easy, like "What year was chocolate first brought to Europe?" But others were like, "What was the significance of chocolate in Aztec culture?" I was scratching my head on that one, for sure. The writing section was the worst, though. We had to write a short essay about our favorite hobby. I love playing soccer, so I wrote all about it. But I kept forgetting to use commas and periods, so my sentences were all jumbled up. I hope the examiner could still understand what I was trying to say.Overall, the exam was a real challenge. But hey, we did our best and that's all that matters, right? Who knows, maybe we'll all get straight A's and become English geniuses!篇9Hey guys, do you want to hear about the 2018 June English A-Level exam? Yeah? It was cool to hear different accents and voices, but we had to really focus to get the answers right. And let me tell you, the writing and speaking parts were the real deal! We had to write essays and stories about different topics, and then we had to speak about them in front of the class. It was so much fun imagining all the cool places we could visit. And then there was the essay section. We had to write an essay about why we should protect the environment.
