Summer Vacation Travel Plan
Summer vacation is approaching, and I am planning a wonderful trip. After careful consideration, I have decided to visit Beijing, the capital city of China.
My trip will last for a week, and during this time, I plan to visit some of the most famous historical and cultural sites in Beijing. On the first day, I will go to the Great Wall, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. I want to climb the wall, take some pictures, and learn about its history and cultural significance.
On the second day, I plan to spend a whole day exploring the Forbidden City. It was the palace where the emperors of China lived for over 500 years. I am eager to admire the magnificent architecture, precious antiques, and colorful stories of the royal family in ancient China.
On the third day, I will go to the Summer Palace, the largest and best-preserved royal garden in China. I want to take a boat ride on the Kunming Lake and enjoy the scenery of the mountains, water, and pavilions. Besides, I will watch a traditional Chinese opera performance in the evening.
On the fourth day, I will visit the Temple of Heaven, another UNESCO World Heritage site. It was a complex of sacrificial buildings and a place of worship for Chinese emperors to pray for a good harvest. I am curious about the ancient Chinese religious beliefs and customs.
In addition to these sightseeing spots, I also plan to taste some local specialties such as Peking roast duck, visit some traditional markets like the Panjiayuan Antique Market and the Silk Street, and experience some modern fun, such as watching the acrobatic show and playing at the Happy Valley amusement park.
I am really excited about this trip and looking forward to making new friends, learning new things, and enriching my life experience.
I believe it will be an unforgettable summer vacation for me.。
