Unit 3 Could you please clean your room?
Period 1 Section A (1a-2d)
学习目标
1.掌握1a-2d的词语。

2.学习提出礼貌的请求和请求允许。

3.学会使用句型Could you please...?和Could I...?
重、难点:情态动词could 表示有礼貌的请求许可或提出要求的用法。

—Could you please do the dishes? 请洗盘子好吗?
—Sorry, I can’t. I have to do my homework.抱歉,我不能,我得做作业。

在表示请求的疑问句中,常用could、can、may,以表示礼貌,委婉或不确定的语气,could语气更委婉,不能把could看作can的过去式。

e.g.①Could/Can/May I use your car for a day?
②I wonder if I could use your car for a day.
③Do you mind if I use your car for a day?
对于这种疑问句的回答同样要注意语气委婉。

可以说Yes,或Sure或Certainly,还可说Yes, (do) please. 或Of course. (you may/can),no problem. 或That`s OK/all right. I`m sorry you can`t.
在希望得到肯定回答的疑问句中常常用some,而不用any。

如:Could you please buy some milk?此句中用some而不用any。

词,多放在句末。

e.g. If you are famous, people will watch you all the time.
8. as soon as…”一…就…”表时间。

相当于本课的the minute.如:
I’ll call you as soon as he comes.= The minute he comes, I’ll call you!他一来,我就给你打电话。

could是一个词,其否定形式为,其后接,意为(有/无)人称和数的变化。

could可以表示委婉礼貌的语气,也可以表示过去的一种能力。

但在这个单元里,could表示的是_______________,而且它的回答语不能用could而要使用can或can’t。

常用来征询意见,建议,劝告,要求或义务等。

1.“neither + be动词/助动词/情态动词+主语”表示“……也不”(前句为否定
句)。

而“so + 倒装句”用于“……也是”(前句为肯定句)。

e.g. 两个答案都不对

3. hate “讨厌,厌恶”hate to do sth./ hate doing sth.
4. whi le “在……期间,当……时候”,只能用来表示时间段,从句的谓语动词应是延续性的。

引导的时间状语从句多用进行时。

1.in order to意为“为了”引导目的状语从句,可放句首或句中。

常用结构:in order to + 动词原形否定形式:in order not to + 动词原形e.g. 为了赶上其他同学,那个女孩学习更加努力了。

2. be always doing 意为“总是做某事”表厌恶,不满的情绪。

3. have no idea 意为“不知道,不了解”相当于I don’t know.
e.g. 我不知道他们什么时候去长城。

4. take care of 意为:“照料,照顾”其中care 为不可数名词,前面不用不定冠词修饰,但可用good 修饰。

take good care of 意为“仔细照顾”,后面可接名词或代词做宾语。

e.g. 好好照顾自己,不久你就会觉得好多了。

5.a waste of time ( P22 )此处waste 用作名词,意为“浪费”,用于固定结构“a waste of time”,意为“浪费时间”。

waste 还可作形容词“无用的,浪费的”, 动词“浪费”讲。

e.g. 玩电脑游戏浪费时间。

. 6.these days 意为“如今,现在;目前”,相当于nowadays .
7. It is the parents’ job to provide a clean and comfortable… (P22)provide 此处为及物动词,意为“提供,供给”。

主要结构有:provide sth.for sb.或provide sb. with sth. 意为“为某人提供某物”或“供给某人某物”。

e.g. 国家供给学生课本。

8. It’s not enough to just do…仅仅做…是不够的。

9. it’s important for …to do…---it’s +adj. + for sb to do “某人做…是…的”
