Dear English Teacher,
I've been wanting to tell you some things for a while now, but I never knew quite how to put it into words. You see, learning English with you has been one amazing adventure! At first, I was really nervous and scared that English would be too hard. But you made it fun with all your silly games, songs, and stories. Who knew the alphabet could be an epic fantasy tale? You literally brought the letters to life!
Remember when we went on that awesome quest to rescue the vowels from the evil consonant monster? Signing the alphabet like a rap video was hilarious! And don't even get me started on thetime you taught us new vocabulary words by having us act them out like characters in a play. Seeing Tommy be a "photographer" and Lily be an "acrobat" was so funny. You have a crazy cool imagination, Mrs. Patterson!
I used to be super shy about speaking English, but now I can't wait for my turn to read out loud or answer your questions.
You make every kid feel brave. Like when I struggled with pronouncing "three" and always said "free" instead. You never made me feel dumb. You just patiently helped me over and over until I got it right. Your encouragement means so much.
English class is definitely not boring with you around! Who else would bring in hilarious new jokes every week and have us practice telling them? I'll never forget Sally's knockout performance of "Why did the kid throw his clock out the window? Because he wanted to see time fly!" Comedy gold.
You also make learning grammar fun through games and competitions. Seeing the boys' team verzs the girls' team diagramming sentences as fast as they could was an all-out battle! We were all leaning forward in our seats, cheering our classmates on. Turning nouns into verbs by adding suffixes felt more like scoring points than studying.
Most of all, you really care about each and every one of us. You never make us feel small or afraid to try new things. You're always there for us whether it's struggling with a tricky new word or just needing a pep talk. You cheer us on endlessly. English class is the highlight of my week because you make it a fun, safe space to learn and grow.
Thank you for being the world's most awesome English teacher! You're changing lives one high-five, game and joke at a time.
Love,

Dear Mrs. Johnson,
I've been wanting to tell you something for a really long time, but I never knew how to say it. You're my favorite teacher ever, and I love coming to your English class! I know I don't always pay attention or do my homework, but that's just because English is really hard sometimes. I get confused with all the weird rules and big words. But you always make it fun and help me understand better.
Do you remember when we read "Charlotte's Web" together last year? That was my favorite book! I cried so much when Charlotte died at the end. You let me read parts of it out loud, even though I'm not the best reader. I felt so proud. And you didn't laugh at me when I mess up the hard words. You just helped me sound them out.
I also loved when we did that project about our favorite animals. I got to write and draw all about dogs. My dog Buddy is my best friend, so I knew everything to say. You said my writing was really good and you hung up my project for everyone to see. That made me feel like a real author!
Sometimes the other kids make fun of me for not being that smart. But you never do. You're always so nice and patient, even when I ask a million questions. You make me feel like it's okay to not understand something right away. You tell me to just keep trying my best.
I don't know if I'll ever be really good at English. The rules are too confusing and there are too many exceptions. But as long as I have you as my teacher, I'll never stop trying. You make me want to work hard and get better. Maybe I can be an author someday and write awesome books in English!
Thank you for being the best teacher ever, Mrs. Johnson. I'm so lucky to be in your class. I'll never forget everything you've taught me, about English and about never giving up. You're the best!
Love,

Dear English Teacher, I want to tell you
Dear Mrs. Smith,
I really want to tell you something important. I know I'm just
a kid, but I've been thinking a lot about English class lately. There are some things I'd like to share with you.
First of all, I want you to know that I really like learning English. It's such a cool language! I love learning new words and being able to read books and watch movies in English. It's like a whole new world has opened up to me.
But sometimes, I get a little confused in class. When you're teaching us grammar rules or pronunciation, it can be hard to keep up. I try my best to pay attention, but sometimes my mind starts to wander. I start thinking about playing outside with my friends or what's for lunch.
I don't mean to be disrespectful or anything. It's just that sitting still for a long time is really hard for me. Maybe we could do more fun activities or games to help us learn? That would make it easier for me to stay focused.
Another thing I want to tell you is that I really admire how hard you work. You're always so patient with us, even when we're being a little silly or not paying attention. You never seem to get frustrated or angry. You just keep on teaching with a smile on your face.
I know it can't be easy dealing with a whole classroom full of rowdy kids like us. But you never give up on us. You always encourage us to keep trying and remind us that making mistakes is okay. That really means a lot to me.
So, Mrs. Smith, I just want you to know that even though I might not always show it, I really appreciate everything you do for us. You're not just teaching us English; you're teaching us to be better people. You're teaching us to be kind, patient, and never give up on our dreams.
I promise to try my best in your class from now on. I'll pay closer attention, participate more, and always give it my all. Because you deserve nothing less than my very best effort.
Thank you for being such an amazing teacher and an even more amazing person.

Dear English Teacher, What I Want to Say
Dear Mrs. Smith,
You are the best English teacher ever! I really like your class because you make learning English fun. When I first started learning English, I thought it would be super hard and boring. But you make it exciting with all the games and activities we do. My favorite is when we play English Bingo - I get so excited when I get a bingo!
I still remember the first day of school when I walked into your classroom. I was really nervous because I didn't know any English at all. My palms were sweaty and my tummy had butterflies. But then you greeted me with the biggest smile and said "Welcome! Don't worry, we'll learn together." That made me feel so much better.
You are really good at explaining things in a way that makes sense. Like when we learned about verb tenses, you used funny actions to help us remember. Whenever I see a dog walking, I think "Present continuous - he is walking!" Thanks to you, grammar doesn't make my brain feel like scrambled eggs anymore.
I also really appreciate that you let us work in groups and practice conversations. Speaking English used to make me super duper shy, but now I'm not scared to try. You always remind us that it's okay to make mistakes as long as we keep trying our best. I don't feel embarrassed in your class.
My English has improved so much this year all because of you! My parents are really impressed too. They say my pronunciation is great and that I'm becoming more confident. I'm so glad you're my teacher.
At the end of every class, I leave feeling happy and proud of myself. Thank you for being so kind, patient, and making learning English truly enjoyable. You're the best teacher in the whole universe!

Dear English Teacher,
I have something really important to tell you. It's been on my mind for a while, and I just have to get it off my chest. I hope you don't mind me being honest with you.
First of all, I want to say thank you for being my English teacher. Learning English is hard, but you make it fun and interesting. I look forward to your class every day because I never know what exciting games or activities you'll have planned. Remember when we did that running dictation thingy? That was sooo cool! I was huffing and puffing but laughing the whole time.
I also really appreciate how patient and kind you are. When I don't understand something, you never make me feel dumb. You just explain it again in a different way until that lightbulb finally goes off in my head. You're always smiling and cracking little jokes to make us laugh. Your positive energy brightens up the whole classroom.
But I have to be honest - sometimes your lessons confuse me. Like when we're learning grammar rules with all those big fancy terms. I get lost trying to remember if I'm supposed to use the present perfect continuous tense or whatever. My brain just doesn't work that way yet. I'm just a kid! Maybe we could do more fun activities to practice instead?
Another thing - and I know this one is my fault - but I really struggle to stay focused for the whole class period. After lunch, my mind starts wandering and I zone out. I'm not trying to be
rude or anything. I just have a short attention span. Do you think we could take more breaks to run around or stretch? That might help me.
Anyway, those are just a couple little things I wanted to mention. Overall, you're an amazing teacher and I'm so lucky to have you. English is my favorite subject because of you! I'll keep working hard and you keep being awesome. Thanks a million, English teacher!

English Teacher, I Want to Tell You
Hi Miss Johnson! It's me, Tommy from your 4th grade English class. I had a bunch of stuff I wanted to tell you, so I decided to write you this really long letter. I hope you don't mind!
First of all, I just wanted to say thank you for being such an awesome teacher. English class is my favorite part of the school day because you make it so much fun. I never feel bored or like I want to fall asleep during your lessons. You always have us
playing cool games, singing silly songs, and doing interesting projects and activities. It makes learning English feel like playtime rather than work.
I especially love all the interactive stuff we do, like the conversations we practice and the role-playing games. It really helps me learn how to speak English properly instead of just reading it from a book. I used to be so shy about talking in English, but you've helped me get over that. Now I'm not afraid to open my mouth and give it a try, even if I make mistakes sometimes. I know you'll never judge me or make me feel dumb.
Speaking of mistakes, thank you for always correcting us in a nice way when we get something wrong. You never yell or make us feel badly about ourselves. You just gently point out the error and help us fix it without any drama. Some teachers can be really mean about it, but not you. You're super patient and caring, which makes it easier to learn.
Your fun and positive attitude towards teaching is so refreshing too. You never seem grumpy or annoyed to be at school. You're always smiling and in a good mood, ready to make our English lessons as entertaining as possible. It's hard not to feel happy and excited in your class! Even on my worst days, your cheerful energy lifts my spirits.
I also really appreciate how you take the time to get to know each of us as individuals. You don't just see us as another bunch of nameless students. You learn our personalities, interests, strengths and weaknesses. You push us just enough to keep challenging ourselves without overwhelming us. It shows you genuinely care about our progress.
You've especially been great at encouraging me and boosting my confidence this year. English used to be my worst subject since it's not my first language. I felt so frustrated because no matter how hard I tried, I struggled. But you never gave up on me. You worked with me extra during recess, found creative ways to help me understand concepts, and most importantly, you believed in me. Thanks to you, English isn't my worst subject anymore!
Honestly, Miss Johnson, you're the best English teacher a kid could ask for. You make learning the language fun instead of stressful. You create a positive environment where it's okay to make mistakes as long as we're trying our best. You take the time to connect with us as individuals and you never give up on any of your students, no matter how much help they need. Other teachers could learn a lot from your patience, kindness and creativity.
So thank you from the bottom of my heart for being such an incredible teacher this year. You've helped me gain confidence in my English abilities and develop a love for the language that I'll carry for life. I'll never forget your class or all the ways you've inspired me. You're the tops, Miss Johnson!
Love,
Tommy。
