1.Half an hour.半小时。
half作名词，表示“一半”，表达“一半……”时，用half a(n)…，例如：half an apple半个苹果。
表示“一个半……”时要说：one…and a half或one and a half+（名词复数）。
例如：one hour and a half一个半小时；one and a half hours一个半小时
2.It says quarter to three.它显示两点四十五分。
1）say在此表示“说，显示，写着，报道”。
例如：
My watch says ten to four.我的表显示3:50。
The TV says there will be heavy rain in the afternoon.电视报道下午将有大雨。
2）有关say的固定用法：
It’s said that…据说
that is to say换句话说
say hello to sb向某人问号
say good-bye to sb向某人告别
say to oneself自言自语地说
