Huizhou Culture Festival
In order to increase students’ knowledg e about the traditional culture of Huizhou, our school held “Huizhou Culture Festival” last Friday.
There were many meaningful activities like Huangmei Opera Singing Competition. Students were interested in it and they also took an active part in it. The
music as well as the clothes was really beautiful. We also had Picture Show. It not only showed us the buildings in Huizhou, but also let us learn more about the history, culture and changes of Huizhou. What attracted us most was the Food Show. Much local delicious food was served, and at the same time, we could learn how to cook them. I lost myself in these wonderful activities.
For the next year’s festival, I have some suggestions. I hope there can be some videos introducing Huizhou. Besides, the school can organize a trip outside of school to let us truly experience Huizhou culture.
