去青岛拜访朋友的英语作文五句话
My Awesome Trip to Visit My Friend in Qingdao
This summer, I got to go on the most awesome trip ever - I visited my best friend Jingfeng in the city of Qingdao! Jingfeng and his family had moved there from our hometown last year, and I really missed hanging out with him every day after school. When my mom told me we were going to Qingdao for a week to see Jingfeng, I was so excited I could barely sleep the night before we left!
The trip started out with a long bus ride from our city to Qingdao. It took nearly 6 hours! My little brother Daiyu got pretty whiny after a couple hours, kept asking "Are we there yet??" My dad had to keep telling him over and over that we'd get there when we got there. I didn't mind the long ride though, because I was just daydreaming about all the fun Jingfeng and I would have once we arrived.
When we finally pulled into Qingdao, the first thing I noticed was how amazing the air smelled - like salt water and sea breezes. Of course, I knew Qingdao was a coastal city right on the Yellow Sea, but I had never experienced that kind of ocean air before. It smelled so fresh and clean. The second thing I noticed was how
pretty the city was, with lots of green trees, parks, and gardens everywhere. Our city didn't have nearly as much green space.
We met up with Jingfeng and his family at the bus station, and I gave my best friend a huge hug. He had grown a little taller since the last time I saw him! His mom took us to the apartment where they live, and I got my first glimpse of the amazing view from their window - you could see the whole sparkling blue ocean! After we got settled in, Jingfeng and I wasted no time running off to the beach.
The beach in Qingdao was nothing like the little lake beach back in our town. This was a real ocean beach with incredible soft golden sand that stretched for miles in both directions. Jingfeng and I had a blast burying each other in the sand, splashing around in the gentle waves, and searching for colorful shells. When we got hungry, we got some delicious fresh squid and shrimp from one of the beachside vendors. I had never tasted seafood that good before!
The rest of the week passed by in a blur of fun activities. One day, Jingfeng took me to Badaguan, this incredible old scenic area right on the coast with all these beautiful European-style houses, gardens, and statues. I felt like I had been transported to another country! We also went to some of Qingdao's famous
parks like Zhongshan Park and Huashi Park, where we rode paddleboats across the lakes. Of course, we spent as much time as we could at the beach, swimming, building sandcastles, and playing frisbee.
My favorite day might have been when we visited the Qingdao Underwater World aquarium. They had enormous glass tanks filled with sharks, rays, sea turtles, and every type of tropical fish you can imagine. I had never seen such bright, vivid colors on the fish before. The rays looked like alien spaceships gliding through the water. And the sharks...well, they were terrifying but awesome at the same time! We also got to pet some small shark pups and do a behind-the-scenes tour to learn how the aquarium staff takes care of all the marine animals.
All too soon, it was our last day in Qingdao. Jingfeng and I spent the morning on the beach one final time, talking about how we couldn't wait until we were adults so we could move to a coastal city and go to the ocean every day. That afternoon, we had to pack up and head back to the bus station for the long trip home. I was really sad to leave the amazing ocean breezes and Jingfeng behind. But I had had such an incredible week that the memories would stay with me forever.
On the bus ride home, I couldn't stop looking through all the photos I had taken and talking about my favorite parts of the trip with my parents and Daiyu. They all seemed a little tired of hearing about the ocean and the beach by then! But I didn't care, I was totally obsessed. From that moment on, I decided my dream was to live in a beautiful coastal city like Qingdao when I grew up. Those few days by the ocean had been some of the best of my entire life so far. I certainly hoped Jingfeng and I would have many more adventures together in amazing places in the years ahead!。
