摘要：PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of waste heat collection by arranging a supercharger near the end of cylinder row while covering the exhaust outlet pipe from respective cylinder with exhaust outlet communication pipe communicating between the outlet of supercharger and a power turbine. CONSTITUTION:In a multi-cylinder Diesel engine for feeding exhaust gas from a supercharger 4 to a power turbine 5, the supercharger 4 is arranged near the end of cylinder row. The exhaust outlet pipe 12 communicating with the exhaust outlet branch of respective cylinder along the cylinder row is covered with an exhaust outlet communication pipe 13 communicating between the outlet of supercharger and the power turbine to realize the double structure. Consequently, the radiation of heat from the exhaust pipe section is reduced resulting in improvement of waste heat collection efficiency.
