【摘要】This paper analyzes the communicative English teaching theories popular in Europe and the United States since 1970, especially communicative language ability and communicative ability, this article illustrates the characteristics and the specification of the communicative approach to English teaching, through the analysis of domestic current college English teaching situation, and finally concludes the enlightenment and reform end of the university English teaching reform of communicative teaching method.%文章解析了自1970年以来流行于欧美一时的交际法英语教学理论，尤其是巴克曼的交际语言能力说和海姆斯的交际能力说，本文说明了交际法英语教学的特征及规范，经过解析国内当前大学英语教学的近况，最后归纳出交际教学法对大学英语教学改革的启示及改革归宿。
