摘要:PURPOSE:To realize a highly accurate time axis error detector by generating a pulse having a phase difference of one clock at a polyphase pulse generating circuit and measuring a phase error of a horizontal synchronizing signal in the unit of delay time of a delay element for each phase so as to calculate the error by an operation decoder. CONSTITUTION:An N-phase pulse being an output of a polyphase pulse generating circuit 5 is given to pulse delay circuits 61 to 6N comprising M (M is a natural number) sets of delay elements connected in cascade respectively, from which (M+1) phase pulses whose phase differs from a delay time of one delay element are obtained. The output pulse of the pulse delay circuits 61 to 6N is inputted to a phase discriminators 71 to 7N, which discriminate the lead and lag of the phase of the output pulse from the pulse delay circuits 61-6N with respect to the phase of the horizontal synchronizing signal for each pulse. The output of the phase discriminators 71 to 7N is inputted respectively to decoders 81 to 8N and output a delay element number required for a phase lag of the output pulse of the pulse delay circuits 61 to 6N with respect to the horizontal synchronizing signal. Moreover, the result is calculated by a calculation decoder 9 and outputs a horizontal synchronizing signal phase error. Thus, the time axis error detection with high accuracy and high stability is realized in which the effect of a temperature
change is comparatively small.
