《仿佛》（双语）泰⼽尔写给母亲的诗
I Cannot Remember My Mother
仿佛
I cannot remember my mother
only sometimes in the midst of my play
a tune seems to hover over my playthings,
the tune of some song that she used to
hum while rocking my cradle.
我不记得我的母亲
只是在游戏中间
有时仿佛有⼀段歌调
在我玩具上回旋
是她在晃动我的摇篮
所哼的那些歌调
I cannot remember my mother
but when in the early autumn morning
the smell of the shiuli flowers floats in the air
the scent of the morning service in the temple
comes to me as the scent of my mother.
我不记得我的母亲

合欢花⾹在空⽓中浮动
庙殿⾥晨祷的馨⾹
仿佛向我吹来母亲的⽓息
I cannot remember my mother
only when from my bedroom window I send
my eyes into the blue of the distant sky,
I feel that the stillness of

泰⼽尔作，冰⼼译，曼玲朗读
泰⼽尔的母亲去世时，这位印度诗⼈还⾮常年轻。

1922年，当他创作这⾸诗时，泰⼽尔已经61岁了。

⼀位花甲⽼⼈回忆⾃⼰的母亲，没有⾳容笑貌这样具体的画⾯记忆，留下的反⽽是歌声、⽓味、母亲的⽬光和爱意。

明天，5⽉8号，是今年的母亲节。

1861年5⽉7⽇，泰⼽尔出⽣在印度西孟加拉邦加尔各答，他⼀⽣⽤孟加拉⽂创作了⼤量⽂学作品。

其作品包括《飞鸟集》、《新⽉集》、《园丁集》、《流萤集》、《吉檀迦利》等65本诗集，其中《吉檀迦利》为亚洲⽂学界拿下了⾸个诺贝尔⽂学奖。

另外，他还出版了15部中长篇⼩说，23部散⽂集和56部戏剧。

泰⼽尔和中国有着⾮常深的渊源，曾在1924年、1928年两次访华。

他也曾⽤诗描述⾃⼰与中国朋友的情谊：
Once I went to the land of China,
Those whom I had not met
Put the mark of friendship on my forehead
Calling me their own
可惜的是，泰⼽尔的作品如此卷轶浩繁，中国读者⽐较熟悉却只有《飞鸟集》等少数作品，主要原因是在过去很长⼀段时间⾥他的⼤量作品根本就没有中译本；即使有，很多作品也是转译⾃英⽂和印地⽂的译⽂。

本周四，《泰⼽尔作品全集》⾸发式在中国国际⼴播电台举⾏，这套书可以称得上是国内第⼀部真正意义上的泰⼽尔作品全集。

全书囊括泰⼽尔⼀⽣创作的全部诗歌、⼩说、戏剧和散⽂作品，还收录了诗⼈⾃⼰⽤英⽂创作的8部诗集的孟加拉⽂译⽂，以及他在国外部分英⽂讲演稿的孟加拉⽂译⽂。

全集共33册、1600万字，所有作品均译⾃孟加拉语原⽂，是⽬前世界范围内泰⼽尔作品最为全⾯详实的译本。
