摘要：PURPOSE:To prevent throughput deterioration owing to majority decision making and to maintain the reliability by using cache memories for a means which makes a majority decision on the output of a computer and maintains the high reliability of the output. CONSTITUTION:The computer is equipped with >=3 systems which have MPUs 1a - 1c(1) and error correction code encoder decoders 3a - 3c(3) regarding signals sent to and received from the MPUs 1, and further provided with the majority decision making means 4 which makes a majority decision among signals sent to and received from plural error correction code encoder decoders 3 and a memory 5 as a storage means for storing information sent to and received from the MPUs 1 through the majority decision means 4. Furthermore, cache memories 2a - 2c(2) regarding the MPUs 1 and storage means are arranged on the paths between the MPUs 1 of the respective systems and the error correction code encoder decoders 3 in the same system with the MPUs 1. Thus, the cache memories 2 are added to absorb the memory access by the MPUs 1. Consequently, circuit delay is reduced to enable fast memory access.
