Third Officer Handover Notes
Mr. Wang, welcome to relive me on MT new paradise, wishes you have a nice trip at your service time.
For smoothing hand over at this time, the following information about the works for your reference which are designed to you relieving from me during your service time and those will be taken effect to you from 0001LT 03rd February 2014, at Tianjin, China.
1, Normal Duty Time
A. Bridge duty
The duty time on bridge for you is 0800-1200 and 2000-2400 while ship is in sailing.
B. Cargo operation
The duty time for cargo operation is 0600-1200, and 1800-2400 during cargo operation. And, as per other designed duties from senior officers.
2, FFE& LSA
You are designed to take the duty of FFA and LSA.
The FFA and LSA equipments on this ship are in good condition, for you, please refer to the Documents of Safety Equipments List in third officer’s folder. There is detailed information on these items which you should do in the forthcoming months.
This information for remind you for future:
A, The service of lifeboat and davit, Air bottle of lifeboat and CABA cylinder hydrostatic test is to be carried out during next annual service.
B, The next pressure test of fire lines and hoses will hold before 02nd April 2014.
C, some torches for fire fighting and lifeboat has small problem, but still can in good condition for using, please be caution if there has some VIQ and PSC inspections.
3, Flag and ALDIS battery
The flags cabinets are fitted on bridge starboard side. The inventory list was attached with these notes.
Spare ALDIS w ith battery in the radio locker, please don’t forget to recharge it.
4, Update maintenance record in AMOS & Record Books
Please update your designed work in Amos PMS and The Books in deck office.

5, Drill and Safety Training
You are designed to in charge of No.1 lifeboat when drill, and the team leader of support part.
Meanwhile, if there has training on FFA and LSA, you also be designed as the trainer for these trainings.
6, Miscellaneous
aa, Location and qualities of these items, please refer to Store & Spare folder in third officer folder, and for your information, this inventory list is sent to company at semiannual update.
bb, The spares of FFA and LSA, including IMO symbols are located in Bridge locker, radio locker and E.H.Q.; you can find all you need.
Any way, there are enough spares on all aspects of your working in future.
cc, The connectors for recharging the EEBD and SCBA in the EHQ.
dd, The Safety Equipments List and flag list are attached in this hand over note for your reference.
Due to you are already join this ship more than four months until now, kindly trust you full understand my duty during the past time, trust you understand all relieving duties.
