一、教材分析
What:语法内容主要复习本册书出现的特殊疑问句及其回答，能合理使用它们进行表达；语篇短文，介绍了两个特殊的节日。

Why:学生需学会辨析和正确使用特殊疑问词，并了解一些特别的节日。

How: 活动3a通过几个特殊疑问句及其回答，要求学生观察这些句式，并重点关注特殊疑问词的用法；活动3b通过让学生先用特殊疑问词补全问句，再将问句与答语匹配，目的是让他们掌握不同特殊疑问词的含义和用法；活动3c让学生阅读短文，并在文中找出莎士比亚和南丁格尔的生日，复习日期的表达法。

活动3d是口头输出活动，要求学生进一步谈论一些特殊的节日和日期，包括在这些日期的庆祝活动，从而巩固本单元所学目标语言，并将生日的含义从个体扩大到社会生活中有特殊意义的日子，如国庆节、党的生日、建军节、建校日等。

通过介绍特殊的生日，学会用英语准确地描述和表达个人的经历和感受。

了解不同文化中特殊生日的重要性和庆祝方式的差异及其象征意义和价值的差异。

重点：
1．学生能够清晰准确地介绍特殊的生日，包括描述他们的特点和相关经历。

2．学生能够灵活运用“wh - question”来提问和回答生日日期。

难点：
1．学生能够准确地使用how many、how much和how old。

2．学生在用“wh-”式提问和回答生日日期时，能够清晰完整地表达。

Step 1 Warm up and work on Grammar Focus (3a)
Work on 3a
1.Check the preview.
2.Let students notice “Questions and the answers” in the Grammar Focus form.
3.Let students read the questions and circle the question words.Then read the questions and the answers.
4.Let students explore the structure of the questions and how to answer each question.

1．Let students talk about the dates and activities of these special days in groups.
