Unit1 Our New House【单元总目标】本单元是本册的第一单元,内容围绕介绍、描述房屋的基本状况展开。

本单元在复习三年级下册Unit 7 There Is a TV in the Classroom中学习的谈论某处有某物句型的基础上,学习有关住所的表达。

本单元的重点内容是学习住所的名称及进一步学习描述某处有某物的句型,难点是如何正确使用There be句型的单复数形式并运用形容词beautiful, big, small, nice, clean等来描述住所。

本单元的教学共分为4课时。

第一课时以Part A中Let’s learn部分的词汇教学为主,主要是对日常活动名称进行复习并学习有关住所的词汇,“以旧带新”是本节课时教学要遵循的原则;第二课时为Part A中Let’s talk部分的会话教学,要求学生在学习重点词汇的基础上能够介绍、描述房屋的基本状况,如:There are two bedrooms, a living room,a kitchen and a bathroom. 二、学情分析:我校的四年级学生在二、三年级已经学习了辅音字母与元音字母的长短音的基本拼读规则,学生拼读单词的能力相对比较好,加上经过两年的英语学习,学生已经初步具备了一定的英语基础。

在上一模块已学过如何描述物品的位置和房间的摆设,本模块继续延伸到描述房子的各个居室,学习起来不难,但要记住各个活动的的词组及描述活动的句子还是需要老师的引导。

四年级学生活泼好动,对贴近生活的学习内容有强烈的兴趣,但他们毕竟是低年段学生,课堂注意力容易分散,所以,我们要设计形式多样的、有趣的活动,吸引学生的注意力,提高课堂教学效率。
