2017年Volvo XC60各版本的功能介绍说明书
2017 VOLVO XC60 T5 INSCRIPTIONVOICE COMMANDS STEERING WHEEL COMMANDSINSTRUMENT CLUSTERCENTER STACKThe Sensus Connect In-Vehicle Infotainment System offers the following features:The phone integration system lets drivers pair a phone, either while the vehicle is parked or in motion. To connect a phone with Bluetooth, drivers use the rotary wheel and refer to the center stack display. Once the phone is paired, drivers can dial numbers using the rotary wheel in the center stack and place calls to contacts in their phonebook using theXC60’s rotary wheel. Alternatively, drivers can access phone-related controls using voice commands. No functions are locked out while driving. When drivers used the center stack controls to access calling and dialing functions, they were met with long interaction times and very high visual (eyes-off-road) and cognitive (mental) demand. The center stack is cluttered with small buttons, including a full dial pad. Overall, using the center console controls for this function placed very high demand on drivers. The on-road study data found voice commands for calling and dialing functions placed very high demand on drivers. Using voice commands to complete tasks was not only lengthy, taking an average of 40 seconds u, but also imposed high levels of both visual (eyes-off-road) and cognitive (mental) demand on drivers. Researchers^ attribute this poor performance to the system’s frequent misinterpretation of commands and long pauses while the system attempts to process commands, often leaving drivers confused and frustrated.Overall, calling and dialing generated very high demand on drivers in the on-road study. Drivers using the calling and dialing functions in the Volvo XC60 struggled to do so in a timely manner, leading to excessive cognitive (mental) and visual (eyes-off-road) demand. With a phone paired, drivers can read text messages displayed on the center stack screen and have the voice command system read aloud message content. There is no function in the vehicle to send or reply to a text message.Accessing text message functions via the center stack controls placed high demand on drivers in the on-road study. When drivers loaded messages on the center stack, the messages were displayed in their entirety on the screen for drivers to read while driving. This imposed high visual (eyes-off-road) and cognitive (mental) demand as drivers attempted to read the message while driving.Voice commands for text messaging functions took an average of 27 seconds u to complete a task, resulting in a high demand on drivers. Voice commands were frequently misunderstood by the system during on-road testing, lengthening the time it took drivers to listen to a text message. High amounts of visual (eyes-off-road) and cognitive (mental) demand were observed as drivers looked to the screen in an attempt to reconcile errors made by the system.Overall, while text messaging functions in the XC60 are limited to listening to or reading a message, and not replying, this function still places high demand on drivers.^Researchers with expertise about how humans interact with technology evaluated the usability of the infotainment system in stationary vehicles. The audio entertainment system gives access to: AM, FM, and XM radio; CD player; USB port; Bluetooth; iPod audio; and an auxiliary audio input. Drivers can access audio using voice commands, the center stack display’s rotary wheel and steering wheel controls. No functions are locked out while driving.Using center stack controls to control audio entertainment placed high demand on drivers in the on-road study. While the Volvo XC60 does not have a touch screen, the rotary wheel and accompanying physical buttons on the center console force drivers to press multiple buttons around the console to complete a task, causing very high visual (eyes-off-road) and cognitive (mental) demand.Drivers using voice commands to control audio entertainment were met with very lengthy interaction times and experienced very high cognitive (mental) demand. Using this function places high demand on drivers, as the voice commands are often misunderstood by the system, and subsequently, the system executed unintended actions. Interacting with the audio system in the Volvo XC60 placed very high levels of demand on drivers in the study, both visually and mentally, regardless of how they attempted to access it.The infotainment system includes turn-by-turn navigation, offering drivers visual and verbal directions to a location. Turn-by-turn navigation can be set via voice commands and the center stack display with the rotary wheel. No functions are locked out while driving.Using center stack controls to interact with the navigation system in the Volvo XC60 placed very high demand on drivers in the on-road study. The display is cluttered and uses a split screen to show the navigation map in two different ways, confusing drivers about where to look for navigation options. There are a multitude of ways to select a destination, even by input of latitudinal and longitudinal coordinates. Overall, the system’s slow processing of user input required major wait times, causing lengthy interactions with very high visual (eyes-off-road) and cognitive (mental) demand.Voice commands used to interact with the navigation system placed very high demand on drivers in our on-road study. The XC60’s voice command system is poor at understanding commands and the process to select a destination involves multiple steps. Drivers were met with high visual (eyes-off-road) and cognitive (mental) demand for an average of 76 seconds u as they searched through more than 20 point of interest categories for a destination. The navigation system in the Volvo XC60 places very high demand on drivers, regardless of interaction type. The Volvo XC60 has a voice command system that lets drivers access audio entertainment, phone and turn-by-turn navigation. It includes a synthetic female voice that confirms entries and provides feedback whendrivers give commands. The XC60’s instrument cluster, located behind the steering wheel, has an 8-inch, all-digital display, replacing the standard dials and gauges. Drivers can control the display content using an additional switch locatedbehind the steering wheel. The steering wheel contains 17 dedicated buttons, including those found on the switch behind the steeringwheel. Drivers can access cruise control, audio entertainment and voice commands using the steering wheel controls.VEHICLE SALES SUMMARYThe 2017 Volvo XC60 is the 163rd best-selling vehicle in the United States, with 8,809 vehicles sold between June 2015 and June 20161.。

Limited functionIf the vehicle has no electrical current available – i.e. the ignition is switched off or the 12V start battery is discharged – certain functions will be limited, including power brakes and power steering.Low-speed exterior noiseThe electric motors in battery electric vehicles are extremely quiet and may be difficult to hear by children, pedestrians, cyclists, and animals. That’s why Volvo Recharge models come with Audible Vehicle Alert System (“AVAS”). One of the sounds created mimics the sound that tires make when rolling over a road surface. The sound is immediately recognizable as that of a vehicle approaching, thereby alerting pedes-trians and cyclists, yet it blends in perfectly to the surroundings and doesn’t create unnecessary noise pollution.High-voltage currentVehicle components that work with high-voltage current can be dangerous if handled incorrectly. These high-voltage components and orange-colored cables are not easily accessed and should only be handled by qualified Volvo technicians. Please follow the instructionsin your Digital Owner’s Manual.Recommended batterydepletion limitsVolvo recommends that you don’tlet the battery deplete to 0%.Below a 20% state of chargeyou will receive notifications, withguidance to charging stations.Key Google ServicesFor the most personalized experience in your new Pure Electric Volvo, we recommend that you complete the profile setup and sign in with your Google account. Download the ChargePoint app, both in-car and on your mobile device, then simply pair your ChargePoint account to access their network of AC chargers, as well as their roaming partners. Pre-load your payment information then easily locate and seamlessly pay for charging no matter where you are.Electrify America’s collaboration with Volvo Cars USA adds a growing network of more than 635 public DC fast charging stations around the country. It is the largest open DC fast-charging network in the U.S., and greatly expands the availability of fast charging locations for owners of Volvo electrified vehicles. Along with ChargePoint, Volvo drivers now have easy access to over 90% of the open charging network. All Pure Electric Volvo vehicles for the 2023 model year come with 250 kWh of complimentary charging on the Electrify America network. Within the first three years, after depletion of the 250kWh, customers are eligible for Electrify America’s Pass+ program, where drivers can charge at discounted rates. The Pass+ membership fee will be covered by Volvo Cars USA for one year. For more information, please click here.Charging SpeedCharging speed can be set in your center display. To adjust the chargingamp limit, click the gear icon on the center touchscreenthe amperage limit for charging.Set it to 48 amps for best charging speed, if it’s not already. This will ensure the fastest charging with all types of chargers. If you plug it into a lower amperage circuit, e.g., a 110V 15-amps, the car will lower the charging speed based on the amperage available. You can view the car’s charging speed in the instrument cluster, whenparked and plugged in.Charging Rates and Approximate Times Volvo’s Pure Electric vehicles (XC40 Recharge and C40 Recharge)are equipped with 78kWh batteriesApproximate charging times*• Level 2 – 10% to 80% ≈ 6 hours• 150 kW DC Fast Charger – 10% to 80% ≈ 40 minutes* Volvo recommends charging to 90% for everyday use for longer battery life. For longer trips, charge to 100%.Ambient temperature extremes (cold and hot), driving styles, routes, terrain, vehicle speed and vehicle load are some of the conditions that will affect vehicle range.Electrification Terms and Their Meanings• Volt is electrical “pressure” and Amp(ere) is electrical “flow.” The “garden hose” analogy: Turning up the pressure (volt) moves more water, and having a larger diameter hose (amp) flows more water. In this analogy, water is equivalent to power.• kWh – Kilowatt-Hours: amount of energy stored (comparativeto a tank of gas).• kW – Kilowatt: amount of electricity needed to “fill up” the battery via charger (AC or DC).• 1kW = 1.34 horsepower (e.g., XC40 Recharge’s combined300 kW = 402 horsepower).• AC – Alternating Current (typical household outlets, Level 1 or 2, including some charging stations) converts electric power to direct current (DC) via an On-board Charger (OBC).• DC – Direct Current (built-in converter, Level 3 charging stations) feeds power directly to the car’s battery.Charging Status Lights(adjacent to the charging socket input)White LED lampYellow Waiting mode for charging to start Flashing Green Charging in processGreen Charging completeRed Fault has occurredBlue Scheduled chargingStarting and DrivingYour Pure Electric Volvo is always ready to go,so there is no start/stop button.• To drive the vehicle, sit in the driver’s seat, put on your seatbelt, place your foot on the brake, and select Reverse or Drive.• To stop, simply put the vehicle in Park and exit – it will automatically turn off.• Prior to driving vehicles operated by multiple drivers (for whom Driver Profiles have been set up), while the vehicle is stationary rememberto override the “default” profile, if necessary.See your Digital Owner’s Manual for Driver Profiles information. There is no engine to start in a battery electric vehicle. The car will automatically go from “Off” through several levels of readiness, starting with when you approach the car and unlock it. Sensors detect that you are positioned in the driver’s seat, the presence of the key fob, and that the door is closed. Various systems such as the climate control, media, or navigation might come on.Pressing your foot on the brake and selecting Drive or Reverse is all you have to do to begin your drive. The car is ready to drive and indicates this status by displaying “Ready” in the instrument cluster. The car will remain stationary even when you take your foot off the brake, if one-pedal drive is “on.” The car will slowly begin to move as soon as the brake pedal is released, if one-pedal drive is “off.”One-Pedal Drive and Regenerative Braking One Pedal Drive gives seamless control of both acceleration and deceleration with just the accelerator pedal. When braking, the kinetic energy that otherwise would have become heat energy is regenerated into electric energy and fed back to the battery. This saves energyand helps optimize the car’s range. Two levels: On and Off.“ON” is the default setting. Just lifting the accelerator pedal can slow the car all the way to standstill, not using the brake pedal. It can even hold the car on steep hills. One-Pedal Drive is recommended in city driving to help optimize range.“OFF” means less regeneration when lifting the accelerator, and feels more like in a combustion engine powered car. This allows full benefit from the car’s rolling kinetic energy when driving at highway speeds. Independent of this, the car will always provide brake energy regeneration when pressing the brake pedal. One pedal drive can easily be turned off or on via the settings menuin the center display or simply by using a voice command with the helpof Google Assistant: “Hey Google, turn on/off one pedal drive.”A short tutorial on one-pedal drive is available here.Note: If one-pedal drive is “on,” the car will remain stationary when the brake pedalis released. It will only move when the accelerator is pressed. If one-pedal drive is “off,” the car will begin moving as soon as the brake pedal is released.Hands-Free, Foot-Activated Tailgate Both hands full? You can open or close the tailgate with a single footkick movement under the rear bumper.Pro tip: Aim for the center left parking sensor or the first “V” of the “Volvo” lettering for best results. The ‘kick’ should be smooth during the inward and outward motion – no waving or holding your foot in place as this won’t activate the sensor to open /close the tailgate.Immediately after the kick, take a step back to ensure that the tailgate will open or close.A short tutorial on the foot-activated tailgate is available here.31。

You can open or close the tailgate with a single footkick movement under the rear bumper.Pro tip: Aim for the center left parking sensor or the first “V” of the “Volvo” lettering for best results. The ‘kick’ should be smooth during the inward and outward motion – no waving or holding your foot in place as this won’t activate the sensor to open /close the tailgate.Immediately after the kick, take a step back to ensure that the tailgate will open or close.A short tutorial on the foot-activated tailgate is available here.Charging a Recharge Plug-In HybridRecharge Plug-In HybridVolvo Twin Engine Plug-in Hybrid vehicles feature the “Three Layer” 18.8 kWh high-voltage battery. That means you can do longer fully electric journeys with zero tailpipe emissions on a single charge. The Charging CableThe standard dual-voltage (110V & 220V) charging cable has two connectors – one side plugs into the vehicle using an industry-standard J1772 connector. The other connector has a special adaptor that allows it to plug into either a 110V or a 220V wall outlet.Using a 110V outlet, you can expect to charge the battery in 10 to 15 hours. Using a 220V outlet or a commercial charging station, you can charge the battery in 5 to 8 hours.Two-Step Regenerative Braking SystemThe regenerative braking system recovers and transmits energy back into the high-voltage battery, either to recharge it or for immediate use. You can press the “Hold” button on the center display to keep the current battery charge for later use, or the “Charge” button for the gasolineengine to charge the battery up to 90 percent. In Recharge Plug-In Hybrid vehicles, one pedaldrive gives you intuitive, seamless control ofthe car’s acceleration and braking just by usingthe accelerator pedal. Press the pedal for instantacceleration, and release it to instantly reducespeed or to brake the car to standstill (on Rechargewith Google built-in). This adds to more relaxeddriving, more fun, and an enhanced feeling ofcontrol – especially in stop-and-go city traffic.Brake energy regeneration also adds to a longerrange – every time you release the pedal, electricenergy is generated and fed back to the car’sbattery. The level of regenerative brake forceis determined by moving the shifter between “D” mode and “B” mode. In “B” mode the car has a high level of brake energy regeneration, and it activates one pedal drive. One pedal drive can also be controlled via Google Assistant. In “D” mode one pedal drive is turned off, and it provides a lower level of energy regeneration. When driving in one pedal drive you can activate “Creep” mode –“Creep On” to allow you to continue driving at low speeds without the car coming to a complete stop, such as in precision parking situations. “Creep” mode can easily be turned on or off via the settings menu in the center display or simply by using a voice command with the help of Google Assistant:“Hey Google, turn on/off creep mode.”One-Pedal DriveRecharge Plug-In Hybrid Drive ModesThe drive mode settings in our Plug-In Hybrid are different from thosein our gasoline engine cars. The drive mode settings allow the driverto choose different settings for the engine via the center display.Hybrid Mode (Default) utilizes the electric motor and gasoline engine, either individually or in parallel. Their operation is optimized for performance, fuel consumption, and comfort. The engineand automatic gearbox are programmed for maximum comfort. This is the default mode when the engine is started.Pure Electric Mode prioritizes electric operation and low energy consumption. It helps to maximize driving on the hybrid battery. The dynamic performance is reduced, and air-conditioning is partly disengaged but can be activated manually. This mode sets a maximum speed of 87 mph using only electric propulsion. (When Hybrid Mode is active, the car’s maximum speed is 78 mph on electric propulsion only.) Power Mode combines the gasoline engine and the electric motorto ensure the strongest performance, sporty characteristics, and quick response.Launching from a stop, this mode takes advantage of the electric motor’s instant maximum torque while the combustion engine gets up to speed. eAWD (All-Wheel Drive) Mode provides constant all-wheel driveon demand. Used primarily at low speeds and in slippery conditions, it activates all-wheel drive to improve traction. You can select this mode when needed, or choose to save energy for later. There is always enough power to use AWD mode, even when the battery is depleted. Off-Road Mode (XC90 & XC60 only) can be set at speeds below approximately 12 mph to maximize traction and control on poor roads. Above 25 mph Off-Road mode is disconnected and will notbe connected automatically again, even if speed is reduced. In this mode, Hill Descent Control is automatically activated, steering is set to comfort mode, the Electronic Stability Control is set to Traction/ Sport, and the Stop/Start function is deactivated.。

第一代Volvo C70窗户和门服务指南说明书
Door ServiceThis article is going to cover what Volvo would calla classic car, as the first C70 that came out in the U.S. market was introduced in 1998. It came intwo configurations —hardtop coupe and what many people think was Volvo's first convertible model. Well folks, Volvo did make a very small production run of convertibles in the early days.Volvo's first foray into the top-down sports car market was the P1900. It was made with a custom fiberglass body from 1956-1957.You probably will never see one in your shop because only 68 were produced. The purpose of this article is to educate you about problems and repair procedures on early Volvo C70 (1998-2004) windows and doors, which can be more challenging and complex than most other Volvo models. These cars are older but there are still a lot of them rolling around out there, especially the convertibles. When working on these cars, you should use extra care because the plastic parts can be brittle and break easily. You may have to move or disassemble other parts during the repair. Be sure to confirm availability of replacement parts with your local Volvo retailer. Such parts might include door weatherstrips and seals, which might be difficult to remove during disassembly. HistoryVolvo unveiled the first generation C70 at the 1996 Paris motor show. They followed by introducing it into the European market as a 1997 model, and a year later as a 1998 model in North America with a low-pressure turbo (2.4 L) and a high-pressure turbo (2.0 L and 2.3 L) turbocharged engine. The C70 broke Volvo's decades-long styling tradition of boxy, rectilinear designs and was Volvo's first luxury coupe since the 780.According to Peter Horbury, Volvo's design chief from 1991 to 2002, “With the C70, Volvo threw away the box, but 'kept the toy inside!'"Volvo's vision was to design a convertible thatwould meet the needs of a family of four lookingfor comfortable blue-sky motoring in a vehicle also providing stylish looks, performance and faultless driving, and road-holding.The C70's development program was only 30 months long, and designers and engineers started working with a Volvo 850 platform.Volvo C70 Convertible/C70 (early years) According to Volvo, the first Volvo C70 launchedin 1997. It was a true two-door, luxury sports car convertible that combined high performance, high-level equipment and the highest safety standards. Designed for four adults, it included two pronounced, deeply contoured seats in the rear. The engine alternatives were five-cylinder gasoline engines with output ranging from 163 to 240 bhp. This model was also produced as a coupe up until August 2002. The Volvo C70 convertible was manufactured at the Volvo plant in Uddevalla, Sweden. Door panels coming apartAs these cars age, the glue and vinyl in the door panels can crack and shrink. The door panel is made up of sections that are glued together at the factory. Over time, the glue can fail and the door panel parts can separate. This does not mean you have to get a new panel or take it to an upholstery shop; in most cases, you canfix it yourself. A hot glue guncan come in handy here.Removing thedoor panelRemove one screw fromthe handle.Use a screwdriver with a10 mm wide tip. Bend the tipto an angle of 90 degrees.Detach the surround in theorder illustrated (next page).Previous Page: Whenyou get a door panelthat is coming unglued, you can often justrepair it yourself witha hot glue gun. The window is pressed against the weatherstrip.2. Because of its design, the window ispressed upwards. The door mirror is adjusted last, after adjusting the window to the weatherstrips.Adjust the upper window position when the cassette is in position in the door. The height can only be adjusted using an adjustment screw on the carriage. The door panel must be removed before any adjustment can take place.Original position:• The height adjustment screw must be in the same position as it was when the cables were removed.• The carriage (B), without an adjustment screw, must not be tightened next to the cable. (Refer tothe "C70 window diagram" image.)Front window cassette adjustment boltFirst Gen Volvo C70 Window and Door ServiceReconnect the motor connector and switch onthe ignition.Run the window up so that the adjustment screw on the carriage (A) is just in contact with the stop at the top of the door. The front stop must stop 2 mm before the rear stop. If the front stop stops first, the motor continues so that the rear stop reaches the top.The distance between the rail lower edge and the lower edge of the carriage should be 25 mm greater than the corresponding distance at the other carriage. Replace the lift mechanism motor and mechanical cable for side window.Mark the cable at the bottom of carriage (B) with a marker pen.Run the window down a little.Tighten the screw that locks the carriage (B) to the wire by the mark.If necessary, adjust the adjustment screw on the carriage (A).Align the door mirror so that there is a straight line between the door and the door mirror. Check the seal between the door mirror and the weatherstrip. Check for leaks between the window and weatherstrip (see "Checking the seal, front side window").During the closing movement of the door, when the window passes the outer edge of the rubber strip, the distance (A) should be 2-4 mm vertically between the window and molding. Measure 350 mm from the rear edge of the side window (B). These measurements can be seen in the image, "C70 window leak check." Adjusting the front side window laterally The window can be adjusted laterally using two screws in the lower edge of the cassette. The door panel must be removed before any adjustment can take place (see Components front side door, replacing).Adjusting the rear side window vertically The rear side panel must be removed before anyadjustment can take place. C70 window diagramC70 window leak checkThe rear side window can be adjusted by moving the stop lug up or down as illustrated.Check for leaks between the rear side window and weatherstrip.Adjusting the rear side window laterallyBegin adjusting the window so that it contacts lightly on the corner of the C-post trim and on the weatherstrip on the rear side window. Then adjust the window so that it lies against all the C-post trim, down to the B-post in the same way.Check for leaks between the rear side window and weatherstrip.Adjusting the rear side window longitudinallyThe rear side panel must be removed before any adjustment can take place. There is a certain amount of leeway in the mounting of the window in the power window lift mechanism cassette. There should be 4-6 mm of clearance between the front and rear side windows (B-post) when the door is closed and the windows are completely raised.Checking the seal, front side windowCheck that the window makes a seal with theweatherstrip around the door opening. Fold a piece of paper in two and pull it out. It should be hard to pull the paper out but not so hard that the paper rips. The force required should be between 8-22 Nm. Check that the window is in contact with the weatherstrip all the way around the window with the paper.Spray water over the upper section of the B-post weatherstrip.Close the door to the first catch point. The door must not be shut completely. The corner of the window should lie against the B-post trim.A water bead should form if the window is sealed to the weatherstrip. The water bead should be 20-50 mm long. The width and shape of the water bead can vary by between 3-6 mm.If the door is not sufficiently tight, adjust the window.Spray water over the whole B-post weatherstrip.Close the door completely. The rear of the window should lie against the whole of the B-post weatherstrip.A water bead should form if the window is sealed to the weatherstrip. See the illustration. The water bead should start a maximum 10 mm under the upperedge of the window and all the way down the B-post. The width and shape of the water bead can vary by between 3-10 mm.If the door is not sufficiently tight, adjust the window. Repeat the vertical and side to side adjustment until the window is correctly positioned against the weatherstrip. When the window is in the correct position, lock the adjustment screws with the lock nuts at the loweredge of the power window lift mechanism cassette.A good way to check if you have the window glass adjusted correctly is to close the window on a dollar bill. If the window is correctly adjusted you should be able to feel drag when you pull it out.First Gen Volvo C70 Window and Door ServiceAdjusting doorsThe doors must be easy to open and close. The edges of the door must be flush with the car exterior. The front edge of the door must be 0-1.5 mm inside the front fender, and the rear edge of the door should 0-1.5 mm outside the bodywork. The door length can be adjusted by installing or removing shims on the upper and lower hinges.0.3 and 0.5 mm shims are available as replacement parts.Adjusting the striker plateCheck to see if the striker plate and latch pin have excessive wear before you attempt to adjust the striker plate. If the parts are too worn, it may be time to replace them.A striker plate or latch pin that is too worn may not be able to be adjusted enough to ensure reliable door latch operation. The door must not rest on the striker plate. The striker plate must not press the door upwards. There are rectangular holes in the striker plate. Slacken off the striker plate screws just enough to allow the striker plate to be moved stiffly. Hold the handle out while closing andopening the door. Repeat until the strikerplate is correctly adjusted. Then tighten the striker plate screws.Check the function of the lock by opening and closing the door.Adjusting the travel of theexternal door handleInsert the key into the lock and turn it so that the lock rod is out of the way of the screwdriver. Adjust using a Phillips screwdriver.Hint: If it is incorrectly adjusted, it may not be possible to open the door from outside.Yes, these cars are becoming rarer every year.
