第六模块第二单元要求学生能够读懂Steve面临的困难并帮助其解决问题,同时也应在学习的过程中懂得诚实的可贵。
学生情况分析:学生基础能力不强,又遇陌生教师必然会有紧张的情况发生,因此本课的设计要有意识地降低难度并主要以巩固基础为主,虽然可以通过预学完成一部分单词和词组,但课上仍需反复复习巩固已达到可以自如运用的目的。
另外由于教材中两封邮件一问一答略显冗长乏味不易引起学生的学习兴趣,所以在第二篇Diana的回信的教学上可以有所创新,尽量做到既能提高学生的学习兴趣又能充分学习文章,并且达到熟练运用重点词汇的目的。
除此之外,由于学生能力参差不齐大部分同学还不能达到自主学习的能力,所以在最后的拓展提升部分可以发动学生主动参与到讨论中去,但仍有一小部分学生由于基础不太好很难顺利进行写作练习。
对于这部分学生需布置简单的任务,通过汉译英的方式降低难度从而增强他们的自信。
组长在这个过程中也起到决定性作用。

五、教学反思
在Module 6 Unit 2《Western music》的教学过程中,我发现学生们对西方音乐表现出了浓厚的兴趣。他们在课堂上积极参与讨论,认真聆听音乐作品,这让我感到很欣慰。然而,通过这次教学,我也意识到一些需要改进的地方。

语言功能是让学生能够用英语描述问题并给出合理建议(“Describing problems and giving advice”),并在学习文章的过程中了解并熟练运用if引导的条件状语从句。
第六模块第二单元要求学生能够读懂Steve面临的困难并帮助其解决问题,同时也应在学习的过程中懂得诚实的可贵。
学生情况分析:学生基础能力不强,又遇陌生教师必然会有紧张的情况发生,因此本课的设计要有意识地降低难度并主要以巩固基础为主,虽然可以通过预学完成一部分单词和词组,但课上仍需反复复习巩固已达到可以自如运用的目的。
另外由于教材中两封邮件一问一答略显冗长乏味不易引起学生的学习兴趣,所以在第二篇Diana的回信的教学上可以有所创新,尽量做到既能提高学生的学习兴趣又能充分学习文章,并且达到熟练运用重点词汇的目的。
除此之外,由于学生能力参差不齐大部分同学还不能达到自主学习的能力,所以在最后的拓展提升部分可以发动学生主动参与到讨论中去,但仍有一小部分学生由于基础不太好很难顺利进行写作练习。
对于这部分学生需布置简单的任务,通过汉译英的方式降低难度从而增强他们的自信。
组长在这个过程中也起到决定性作用。

教学过程一、Warming-up教师活动:通过听力抢答的方式检查学生的预学情况,给学生播放flash引导学生总结文章大意学生活动:Watch the flash and answer the following question What's the matter with Steve?设计意图:这部分设计为观看flash而不是听听力主要是基于学生基础的考量,flash要比单纯的音频更直观更生动,虽然不能达到听力练习的难度和高度但却很大程度地激起了学生的学习兴趣,并且也帮助学生更好的初步了解文章,当然也会缓解学生紧张的情绪。
可能出现的问题:虽然已经在听力上降低了难度但是学生看完flash仍有可能无法做到用英语概括文章大意。
解决方式:1.让学生用汉语简单概括;2.给出选项让学生选择二、Reading practice教师活动:引导学生完成阅读练习,并强调阅读技巧学生活动:Read the letter and answer the following questions.(6’)Do you have a problem? 可能出现的问题:虽然已经降低难度,但学生在第五题的总结上也许还会存在一些小问题。
