文章先介绍基本概念,包括傅立叶变换,拟微分算子与象征,椭圆链复形;利用Hodge分解定理将Lefschetz数与椭圆算子的零特征值特征子空间相联系,再联系到固定椭圆算子的所有特征子空间,从而转化为热方程的解的积分核的迹,此热方程有椭圆算子,解由椭圆算子决定,最后利用椭圆算子的象征变形,再积分,得到结果。

The Z-graded symplectic Floer cohomology of monotone Lagrangian sub-manifolds

Z –graded symplectic Floer cohomology. We borrow some ideas from the instanton Floer theory, and construct the Fintushel-Stern type spectral sequence in [6] for monotone Lagrangian sub–manifolds. Our method is in the nature of algebraic topology (see [20]), and is very different from the method in [17] which is used local Darboux neighborhoods. We hope that there will be more algebraic cohomology operations which can be induced to the symplectic Floer cohomology through the quantum effects of higher differentials in our spectral sequence. Let (P, ω ) be a monotone symplectic manifold and L be a monotone Lagrangian sub-manifold in (P, ω ). Let Zφ be the critical point set of the symplectic action aφ (see §2), where φ ∈ Symp0 (P ) is a symplectic diffeomorphism generated by a time–depended Hamiltonian function. The set Im (aφ )(Zφ ) is discrete. For (r ) r ∈ R \ Im (aφ )(Zφ ) = RL,φ , we can associate the Z2 –modules I∗ (L, φ; P ) with (r ) an integer grading. axiom.If X is a one point set,thenˇH n(X;Z)=0for all n=0andˇH0(X;Z)=Z.The o-minimal setting generalizes the semi-algebraic and sub-analytic contexts,and so this theorem generalizes the existence ofˇCech cohomology in semi-algebraic geometry,as described in the appendix of the book on real algebraic geometry by Bochnak et al.[1].Other cohomology the-ories have been constructed for o-minimal structures of special types in the past.Simplicial and singular cohomologies were constructed in o-minimal expansions offields by A.Woerheide in his doctoral thesis,a report of which can be found in[10].A sheaf cohomology has been constructed in[9]for o-minimal structures(with certain extra technical assumptions for the homotopy axiom), which generalized the sheaf cohomology for real algebraic geometry of Delfs,for which he proved the homotopy axiom in[2].The theory presented here generalizes all of these,at least in the case of constant coefficients.We now explain what is new here compared with the classical theory.The definition of o-minimal ˇCech cohomology is standard.Given a definable set X,we associate to each admissible cover U of X its nerve X U which is afinite abstract simplicial complex;given a continuous definable map f:X−→Y between definable sets,we associate to f and each admissible cover V of Y an abstract simplicial map f V:X f−1V−→Y V.The next step is to compute the simplicial cohomology of this abstract simplicial data and take the direct limit of the simplicial cohomology data over the directed system of admissible covers.The only difference here from the classical setting is that our admissible covers arefinite(and belong to the category of definable sets).This construction will be explained in more detail in Section2.With this definition of o-minimalˇCech cohomology,the verification of the exactness and dimension axioms are immediate and similar to the classical topological case since they are pure homological algebra[11,Chapter IX,Section7and Section3,Theorem3.4respectively].Similarly,we can prove the excision axiom as in[11,Chapter IX,Section6,Theorem6.1],since conditions(1)–(4)in this proof clearly hold for admissible covers of a definable set(with the same proof)and the rest of the argument there is pure homological algebra.The homotopy axiom for topologicalˇCech cohomology relies on the fact that stacked(open)covers over(open)covers of a topological space X are cofinal in the category of(open)covers of X×I, where I is a closed interval in R[11,Chapter IX,Section5,Lemma5.6].There are two important features in the proof of this fact:(1)it uses the compactness of I,and(2)the stacked refinement of a given cover of X×I is indexed by X(and so it is usually infinite!).Hence,the classical proof of the cofinality of stacked covers does not work in the o-minimal context:(1)closed intervals[a,b]⊆N are usually not compact(for example,if N is non-standard),and(2)admissible covers arefinite.Our solution to this problem appears in Section3and follows the solution of the corresponding problemO-MINIMALˇCECH COHOMOLOGY Page3of8 in real algebraic geometry(see the appendix of the book by Bochnak et al.[1]).More precisely,we use the o-minimal spectrum of definable sets,which is a model theoretic generalization of the real spectrum of commutative rings from real algebra and real algebraic geometry.For basic o-minimal geometry,we refer the reader to the book[3]by van den Dries.Since semi-algebraic geometry is a special case of o-minimal geometry,the book[1]is also a good reference. For other o-minimal structures see[4–8,13].In[4,5],the reader canfind explicit constructions of non-standard o-minimal structures.2.o-minimalˇCech cohomologyWe define the o-minimalˇCech cohomology of an arbitrary definable set X in N with respect to the o-minimal site with coefficients in afixed arbitrary abelian group Z.Let U={Uα}α∈I be any admissible open cover of X with index set I and forα=(α0,...,αn−1)∈I n let Uα:=Uα0∩···∩Uαn−1,and E n(U)={α∈I n|Uα=∅}.Then letˇC n(U;Z)be the group of all functions from E n+1(U)to Z.The groupˇC n(U;Z)is called the n thˇCech group of U with the classical case in [11,Chapter IX].In fact,we show that,given an admissible cover U ,the cochain complex {ˇC∗(U ;Z),δ}is naturally chain equivalent to the cochain complex {C ∗(X U ,Z),∂},where X U is the nerve of U .This will clearly give the required result.The nerve X U is the abstract simplicial complex consisting of all simplices whose vertices are a subset J of the index set I of U ={U i }i ∈I and are such that j ∈J U j =∅.The cochain complex {C ∗(X U ,Z),∂}is defined to be the dual of the chain complex C ∗(X U )which is defined as usual for an abstract simplicial complex,so that C n (X U ,Z)=Hom (C n (X U ),Z).First note that,letting E n (U )={α∈I n |U α=∅}and G(E n (U ))be the free abelian group gen-erated by E n (U ),each element c ∈ˇCn (U ;Z)is a map from E n +1(U )to Z and so as the one we would obtain using the alternating chain complex defined there.3.The Eilenberg–Steenrod axiomsAs we explained in Section 1,we can easily prove the exactness,the excision and the dimension axioms for the o-minimal ˇCech cohomology defined in Section 2by following the proofs in the topological case.For the proof of the homotopy axiom,we recall the definition of the o-minimal spectrum of definable sets and use it to prove the o-minimal analogue of the lemma on stacked covers[11,Chapter IX,Section 5,Lemma 5.6].With this lemma available we finish the proof using standard arguments.For definable X ⊆N m let Xbe the o-minimal spectrum of X ,that is,the set of complete m -types of the first-order theory Th N (N )which imply a formula defining X ,equipped with the topology lab is designed to let you work with more general fields and,in the last section,with line integrals,a topic that builds on the concept of a vector field.2Vector Fields in Two Dimensions 2.1Definition of a Two Dimensional Vector FieldA vector field is defined by a function which associates a vector with each point in the domain of the function.In two dimensions a vector field V can be represented by the expressionV (x,y )=(p (x,y ),q (x,y ))The functions p and q may be arbitrarily defined,or they may depend on some other function,as in the case of a gradient vector field.This demonstration shows a vector field,allowing you to define the field and its domain.It displays a vector field in two dimensions with the vectors represented by arrows.The arrow on each segment represents the head ofV.∇·V=(∂∂x,∂∂y,∂∂z)·(p,q,r)=∂p∂x+∂q∂y+∂r∂z.Thefirst summand,∂p∂x ,measures the change in the x-component of V,p(x,y,z),as x changes.In other words,it tells us how much the x component of V stretches as we move in the x direction.The other two summands give similar information in the y and z directions.Thus the divergence at a point measures how much the the vectorfield V“spreads out”(or“diverges”from itself)at the point.A positive divergence means the vectorfield has a net expansion from the point;a negative divergence means it has a net contraction into the point.For this reason,the divergence of the vectorfield V=(x,y,z)is always positive (in fact it is identically equal to3).At every point,the vectorfield“spreads out”away from the point.On the other hand,the divergence of the rotationalfield7V =(−y,x )is identically zero because the field never has a net expansion from (or contraction into)a point.The curl of a vector field,V =(p,q,r )is defined as ∇×V ,the cross product of the ∇operator with each vector in the field.∇×V =(∂∂x ,∂∂y ,∂∂z )×(p,q,r )=(∂q ∂z −∂r ∂y ,−∂p ∂z +∂r ∂x ,∂p ∂y −∂q ∂x).This is another vector field.In two dimensions,we simply let r (x,y,z )=0,so ∇×V =(0,0,∂p ∂y −∂q ∂x ).The curl at a point mesures the net rotation of the vector field around the point.The rotational vector field in two dimensions,V =(−y,x )has curl with magnitude |∇×V |=1at all points;it has the same “net rotation”around all points in the plane.A way to visualize this is to imagine a very small paddle with four fins forming a cross at right-angles (i.e.like a +sign).Now imagine that the plane is filled with water,and that the vector field tells us the velocity of the water (in other words,a water particle at the point (x,y )has velocity V (x,y )).If we put the axis of the paddle (the center of the +)at a point,the curl at the point would tell us how fast the paddle rotates.These three quantities,the gradient,divergence,and curl,are all interrelated in an interesting way.A gradient vector field is a special type of vector field.Not every field is a gradient.A gradient vector field,V =(p,q )(we’ll stick to two dimensions for now),has the property that there exists a family of functions,F (x,y ),called the potential functions of V ,such that p =F x ,and q =F y .Given this information,how do we discern whether a given field is a gradient?A general vector field V is a gradient if the above conditions hold.One additional thing that we know about F is that,as long as it is well-behaved,F xy =F yx .Consequently,we can say that p =F x ,and q =F y if and only if ∂p ∂y =F xy =F yx =∂q ∂x ,that is,if 0=∂p ∂y −∂q ∂x =∇×V which is to say,the curl of V is identically zero.It follows that for all C 2functions,∇×∇F (x,y )=∇×V (x,y )=0,the curl of the gradient is always zero.These identities are also true in three dimensions.We can then integrate V =(f x ,f y )component-wise to find F .We first integrate G (x,y )= f x dx and we know that F (x,y )=G (x,y )+g (y )where g (y )is some function of the single variable y that disappears upon differentiation with respect to x .Similarly,we integrate H (x,y )= f y dy to find F (x,y )=H (x,y )+h (x ).Then we solve F (x,y )=G (x,y )+g (y )=H (x,y )+h (x )to find what F (x,y )must be.8Example1Suppose we are given the vectorfield V=(2xy,x2+1).We would like tofind out if it is a gradient and if so what its potential function is.We begin by differentiating.∂p∂y =∂(2xy)∂y=2x and∂q∂x=∂(x2+1)∂x=2x.So the curl of V is given by∇×V=∂p∂y−∂q∂x=2x−2x=0.implying that V is indeed the gradient of some potential function F(x,y). Tofind F we set V=(2xy,x2+1)=(F x,F y)=∇F.Integrating,we haveF(x,y)=F x dx=2xydx=x2y+g(y)andF(x,y)=F y dy=(x2+1)dy=x2y+y+h(x).Setting these equal,we get g(y)=y+h(x).But since h(x)depends only on x and g(y)only on y,we can conclude that h(x)must be a constant,h(x)=C.Thus,we get that F(x,y)=x2y+y+C.A vectorfield that is a gradient(i.e.has a potential function)is called conser-vative.9。

但是,导致出现“属性矛盾”的根本原因在于:悖论的构造者故意混淆了矛盾属性的不同逻辑主体。
因此,由该悖论出发,提出“自我相容性并不是日常生活推理中仅有的可接受性准则,甚至不是最重要的准则”的主张是错误的。
关键词: 悖论,乡村理发师悖论,矛盾,逻辑,相容性1. 现代数学关于“乡村理发师悖论”的完整叙述沿用《数学百科全书》的叙述,涉及数学基础三大逻辑悖论的“乡村理发师悖论(Village barber paradox)”,通常是指这样一个疑问性命题及其构造的矛盾推论有一个乡村理发师,他要给而且只给村上那些“不是自己刮脸”的村民刮脸。
那么,理发师要不要给自己刮脸呢?用与“Russell悖论”类似的推理将得到,他既要给自己刮脸又不给自己刮脸。
继而,进一步指出如果由此断言没有这样一个理发师,即这个理发师要满足的条件是自相矛盾的,从而不会被满足。
那么,这个困难便很容易就克服了。
很明显,这个难题提出了如何判别一个性质是否自相矛盾的问题。
于是,对于自古就特别喜好谈论“悖论”并将其视作“大智慧”象征的西方哲学家与数学家而言,似乎又成功地构造了一个悖论。
除了对自我数学基础三大逻辑悖论之一的“乡村理发师悖论”给以具体表述以外,《数学百科全书》特地对这个悖论的“素朴性”特征做出如下说明乡村理发师悖论是Russell悖论的一个变种,它的表述涂饰以“日常生活”的情形。
…… 但是,与Russell悖论不同,这不是一个十分紧要的难题。
它涉及日常生活的情形,而大多数这样的情形都不是严格表述和可靠地定义的。
再说,自我相容性(self-consistence)并不是日常生活推理中仅有的可接受性准则,甚至不是最重要的准则。

The space of bilinear differential operators as a Vect(RP1 )-module
We are interested in defining a three-parameter family of Vect(RP1 )-modules on the space of bilinear differential operators. The counterpart Vect(RP1 )-modules of the space of linear differential operators is a classical object (see e.g. [15]). 2

Abstract The main topic of this paper is two folds. First, we compute the first relative cohomology group of the Lie algebra of smooth vector fields on the projective line, Vect(RP1 ), with coefficients in the space of bilinear differential operators that act on tensor densities, Dλ,ν ;µ , vanishing on the Lie algebra sl(2, R). Second, we compute the first cohomology group of the Lie algebra sl(2, R) with coefficients in Dλ,ν ;µ .
