阅读理解占的分值最大为30分，学生只有在广泛阅读各种题材的文章之后，阅读能力才能提高。
目前学生存在的问题是在阅读短文时不求甚解，不去捕捉关键的语言信息，于是在选择答案时又举棋不定，或准确率太低。
还有部分同学，理解能力很强，理解文意没问题，但有时想得太多，容易钻牛角尖，结果往往选错。
正确的阅读方法应该是将整篇文章看成一个整体，从而理解整篇文章的含义，而不能“只见树木，不见森林”。
具体做法：首先快速地阅读短文，抓住文章的主旨大意，当你把握不准文章的意思或者断不开句子时，可返回到自己能读懂的地方继续往后读，也可去看短文后面的设题部分，或许对于理解整篇文章的意思有帮助。
然后针对短文的设题细读文章，准确把握文章的细节；最后依据部分关键信息做出正确的选择。
从本次调考来看，题型构成基本不变，共三篇阅读理解，词量在800词左右，从易到难，将应用文从之前的第二篇调整到了第一篇。
但话题依然是具有故事情节的经典短文，短文对学生具有启发和教育意义。
