《考试说明》完全是依据教育部当年的考试大纲和现行的教学大纲,并从我省教育实际出发来制定英语学科的考试内容,对英语科目的考试内容、要求、形式作出具体解释,它是我省自主命题的主要依据。
所以我们应充分领会其精神,并在此基础上比较,分析往年的高考试题,把握领会高考试题特点及其变化规律,了解高考命题的具体思路和考查方向,研究和分析命题者是如何把考试大纲中规定的词汇,语法项目及能力考查要求等落实到具体的考题考点以及相关知识点的考查深度和广度,所谓“磨刀不误砍柴工”。

一、课程性质语言是人类最重要的思维和交流工具,也是人们参与社会活动的重要条件。
语言对促进人的全面发展具有重要意义。
当今社会生活和经济活动日益全球化,外国语已经成为世界各国公民必备的基本素养之一。
因此,学习和掌握外语,特别是英语,具有重要意义。
高中英语课程是普通高中的一门主要课程。
高中学生学习外语,一方面可以促进心智、情感、态度与价值观的发展和综合人文素养的提高;另一方面,掌握一门国际通用语种可以为学习国外先进的文化、科学、技术和进行国际交往创造条件。
开设英语课程有利于提高民族素质,有利于我国对外开放和国际交往,有利于增强我国的综合国力。
二、基本理念(一)重视共同基础,构建发展平台普通高中英语课程是义务教育阶段课程的自然延伸,是基础教育阶段课程的重要组成部分。
因此,普通高中英语课程要在义务教育英语课程的基础上,帮助学生打好语言基础,为他们今后升学、就业和终身学习创造条件,并使他们具备作为21世纪公民所应有的基本英语素养。
高中英语课程应根据高中学生认知特点和学习发展需要,在进一步发展学生基本语言运用能力的同时,着重提高学生用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析和解决问题的能力;逐步培养学生用英语进行思维和表达的能力;为学生进一步学习和发展创造必要的条件。
