6A Unit2 Ben’s birthday一、教学内容:Unit2 Ben’s birthday Part A二、教材简解本单元主要是围绕Ben 的生日这一主题展开教学的,其中涉及到英语日期的正确表达。

虽然这个日期的表达是建立在能够掌握十二个月份以及序数词的基础上的(即B、C部分),但本课时是第一课时课文的学习,重点应放在课文的理解上,因此对于日期的表达需要教师有选择性的进行教学。

三、教学目标:(一)知识目标1、能正确理解、掌握A部分课文,并能熟练的朗读课文内容。

2、初步理解课文中出现的日常交际用语:What date is it today? It’s the 16th of October. My birthday’s coming soon. Would you like to come to my birthday party? Would you like a VCD of Japanese cartoons, too? 2.在复习复习句型What day is it today?的基础上,能帮助学生初步掌握句型What date is it today?3.能熟练掌握1-30的基数词及序数词,并能运用。

教学重点1.能三会掌握重点的月份单词,如October,August, 及名词短语,如a yo-yo, a VCD of Japanese cartoons等。

2.在复习复习句型What day is it today?的基础上,能帮助学生初步掌握句型What date is it today?教学难点1.能基本掌握本单元的重点句型When is your birthday? My birthday is on... / What would you like as your birthday present? I'd like ...教学资源1. 学生已有的学习经验:已对1-30的基数词较为熟悉。

2. 学生已有的生活经验:学生对月份和数字比较熟悉。

学生学习本课内容时可能出现的错误:月份的发音不到位以及序数词的拼写。

4. 教学策略:①教授月份时要分两课时进行教学,单词较难,发音不易,通过教授音标来指导学生读单词。

②在教学序数词时,要指导学生的变化规律。

③指导学生在观看视频时能够带着问题,并细心思考。

④通过各环节的精心设计,由浅入深,指导学生阅读短文。

5. 教学准备:课件、练习纸预习作业1.听磁带,根据图片,跟读A部分短语,初步理解课文。

2.通过预习,知道月份及常用的基数词与序数词。
