对于文科班的学生来说，最吃力，同时最拉分的两门学科就是数学和英语，英语在包括中考、高考、研究生考试以及大学英语四、六级考试中都占有很大的分值，特别是初中底子就没打好的学生学起英语来更是难上加上，经常有学生就跑来跟我哭诉，“老师，我其他科目都很好，就是英语不想学，不知道怎么学，我初中英语课根本没听过”，“老师，为什么我昨天刚记得单词今天就忘光了，单词该怎么记啊？”，的确英语这门学科需要基础，不然一篇几百字的文章全是不认识的单词，不懂的语法，根本就看不懂，就跟学语文一样的，字都不认识，怎么学课文呢，那么对于基础薄弱的学生来说，老师肯定是没有时间讲初中的东西，毕竟要考虑到其他学生，只能说在平时讲课的时候讲的更基础些，更细些，更多的是靠学生自己下去花时间，多读多记多问。
记单词是英语非常重要的一步，也是英语学习的基础，由于学生基础有限，要他考130，140分肯定很有难度，那么我们就是目标定在80，90，100分，也就是说我们不搞别的，就抓基础，所以在记单词，读课文方面，我抓的很严，单词必须过关，一遍不行来两遍，两遍不行第三遍。
而且记单词的方法我也经常跟他们说，先要会读然后再去记，今天记来了，第二天第三天在花点时间巩固一遍。
一年下来，从先开始20。
30个人不过关，到现在只有3—4个人不过关。
在就是英语学习需要耐心，比如有一段时间，一个学生学英语很认真，但考试成绩进步不大，他就会灰心丧气，“老师，为什么我这么努力学英语，成绩还是上不去”，我就告诉他，英语是一个慢热的过程，你只有脚踏实地，慢慢来，才会把他学好。
我通过平时每个学生的表现以及他们从去年到今年每次考试的情况来分析了一下子，英语进步比较大的学生为：总之，老师和各位家长有着共同的心愿，都想尽自己最大的努力去培养这些孩子，他们个个都聪明、可爱，只是有些孩子的潜能还没有得到充分的发掘。

各位家长：上午好！
一、矛盾所在
自从进入初中之后，我也不知道是为什么，焦虑、烦恼、紧张等情绪令我感到很不安，使我的心情起伏不定。
一会儿觉得天是蓝的、水是绿的，一会儿又觉得天是黑的、地是暗的。
不知道明天会是怎样？每天都重复着早起、上学、听课、做作业。
有时候还得听父母的唠叨、老师的责骂。
小的时候，我总是盼望着长大，长大了就可以拥有属于自己的空间，自己的想法，能自由自在地飞翔。
可是，现在真的长大了，烦心的事却随着年龄的增长接踵而来。
我常常想：成长的滋味到底是什么？是苦？是甜？好像都是，也好像都不是。
上中学后，我要不停地做作业，有时作业太多了，……我心里真的很难过，但我在向父母倾诉时却得不到帮助，可想而知，我的心里有多苦。
也许，在爸妈的眼里，我是一个不听话的孩子，不但情绪多变，而且叛逆心理特别强。
可他们也许不知道，有时候的我，自己也不知道是怎么回事，无法控制自己。
爸妈做的一切都是为你好。
说多少遍都没用，你怎么就不听话，我管不了了。
为什么会这样？
二、如何化解
（一）培养良好的亲子关系
好的关系胜过许多教育。
父母什么时候与孩子关系好，对孩子的教育就容易成功；什么时候与孩子关系不好，对孩子的教育就容易失败。
而建立良好的亲子关系，其关键在于“定位”不当“法官”，学做“律师”孩子的内心世界丰富多彩，
父母要积极地影响与教育孩子，不了解其内心世界便无从谈起。
即父母对待孩子，要像“律师”对待自己的当事人一样，了解其内心需求，并维护合法权。
不当“驯兽师”，学做“镜子”孩子只有认识自己才能战胜自己，但他们通常只能依据他人的反馈来认识自己，这时父母的“反馈”作用即镜子的作才能帮助孩子提高自我意识，才能让孩子不害怕父母的“权威”，转而和父母沟通。
（二）培养孩子的良好习惯
习惯决定孩子的命运，习惯是个大问题，是大智慧。
再也没有什么比习惯养成更重要了。
父母如果不注重培养孩子的良好习惯，无疑是在葬送孩子美好的未来。
1、一切从习惯培养开始
智育是良好的思维习惯，德育是细小的行为习惯，素质教育更加体现在人的细小的行为上。
2、习惯养成绝非一日之功
主要原则是：低起点，严要求，小步子，快节奏，多活动，求变化，快反馈，勤矫正。
让孩子在习惯养成中发挥主人作用。
3、通过习惯培养铸造品格
习惯与人格相辅相成，习惯影响人格，人格更会影响习惯。
正派、诚实、责任心、爱心、合作精神、讲究效率等品格都可以通过习惯培养来铸造。
（三）引导孩子学会学习
吸引孩子热爱学习、引导孩子学会学习是父母的一项重要职责，也是父母的真正魅力所在。
1、孩子厌学是有原因的
孩子不爱学习只是表面现象，背后一定有原因：是没有养成良
好的学习习惯？是没有找到孩子最擅长的方面？是没有科学用脑？是父母阻碍了孩子的“玩中学”的天性？是孩子没有意识到学习是他自己的事情……找到背后的原因，才可能帮助孩子走出厌学的阴影。
2、孩子考第一是有方法的
“爱学”是“会学”的前提，而“会学”是“爱学”的保证，“会学”才能“学好”。
孩子要想考第一，必须要掌握一些具有决定性作用的好方法，如：按计划完成、认真写字、慢慢看课本、整理错题、随手笔记、无私帮助同学、高效率考试、自由自在地作文等。
教育孩子并没有父母想像的那样复杂，抓好了亲子关系、习惯培养、学习这三件大事，父母成为杰出的父母，孩子成为杰出的孩子，就都不是遥远的梦幻了。
