The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the traditional Chinese festival and is often celebrated on the 15th day of the eighth month of lunar year. Everybody likes it because it’s a special occasion for the family to get together . Nowadays there are varieties of delicious moon cakes including bean paste, egg-yolk or meat moon cakes ,which are the special foods for this festival . The shape of a moon cake is round as it symbolizes a big moon . On the evening there will be a big family dinner and various foods are served . People usually get together in a vacant place ,tasting delicious moon cakes and chatting merrily while watching the beautiful moon hanging in the sky .On that night ,the moon is said to be its biggest and brightest of the year.。
