SDX SeriesPlastic Silicon Pressure SensorsLow Cost, TemperatureCompensated, DIP, 0 psi to 1 psi, 0 psi to 100 psiDESCRIPTIONThe SDX Series sensors provide a very cost-effective solution for pressure applications that require small size plusperformance. These calibrated and temperature-compensated sensors give an accurate and stable output over a 0 °C to 50 °C [32 °F to 122 °F] temperature range. This series is intended for use with non-corrosive, non-ionic working fluids such as air and dry gases.Devices are available to measure absolute and gage pressures from 1 psi (SDX01) up to 100 psi (SDX100). The absolute devices have an internal vacuum reference and an output voltage proportional to absolute pressure. The SDX devices are available in standard commercial and prime grades(SDCXXXXX -A ) to allow optimization of accuracy and cost in any given application. The SDX devices feature an integrated circuit (IC) sensor element and laser trimmed thick film ceramic housed in acompact solvent resistant case. The package is a double-wide, dual-inline package (DIP). This is the same familiar package used by IC manufacturers except it is only 11,94 mm [0.470 in] long and has a pressure port(s). The PC board area used by each DIP is approximately 0.26 in 2. This extremely small size enables the use of multiple sensors in limited available space. The DIP provides excellent corrosion resistance and isolation to external package stress. The DIP mounts on a PC board like a standard IC withthrough-hole pins. The pins anchor the pressure sensor to the PC board and provide a more secure and stable unit than other types of packages. The output of the bridge is ratiometric to the supply voltage and operation from any dc supply voltage up to 20 Vdc is acceptable.FEATURES • Low cost DIP• Precision temperature compensation • Calibrated zero and span • Small size • Low noise• High impedance for low power applications POTENTIAL APPLICATIONS • Medical equipment • Computer peripherals • Pneumatic controls • HVAC • Prime grade available (SDXxxxyy-A)SDX Series2 /sensingTable 1. 9070T150D1Industrial Control TransformersProduct Description PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONControl power transformers from Schneider Electric set the industry standard for design innovation and performance. They are designed with low impedance windings for excellent voltage regulation, and can accomodate the high inrush current associated with contactors, starters, solenoids, and relays.A variety of designs are available to meet the diverse needs of panel builders and machinery OEMs. The versatility of our control transformer line offers unparalleled options for design engineers. We also have one of the most extensive offering of custom products with no minimum order requirements. We have a national network of distributors to ensure prompt delivery, including industry leading delivery on custom products. In most cases, we can design, manufacture, and ship a custom unit in two weeks or less. The Global Product Offering—Type TType T is our most popular and complete line of control transformers. It comes with unmatched design innovations for top performance and is manufactured using the most advanced insulating materials. The Type T control transformer is the best choice if size and cost are of concern. The Exceptional Regulation Offering —Type EOConstructed with traditional materials and manufacturing processes, Type EO transformers are UL and CSA Component Recognized. Units are designed for 55°C rise. All units are 60HZ rated, withde-rated VA levels for 50HZ.Transformers with Fuse Block Protection—Types TF and EOFWe offer both product lines with factory installed overcurrent protection fuse blocks.Type TF and EOF transformers consist of two primary fuse blocks and one secondary fuse block, a configuration that meets the majority of overcurrent needs by panel builders and machinery OEMs. Since the fuse blocks are pre-wired and mounted on top of the transformer, the Type TF and EOF transformers have the same footprint as the Type T and Type EO units, respectively. This design frees up space normally used for separate fuse blocksWe also have an extensive fuse block offering for custom applications. See the overcurrent section of this catalog for full details.Leaded Control Transformer LineSchneider Electric offers transformers with internally pre-wired 24-inch primary and secondary leads, instead of terminal boards, to make installation easier and faster for many applications. These are only available for single voltage primary and single voltage secondary applications.MultiTapSchneider Electric offers Type T and Type EO transformers in the MultiTap version. The MultiTap control transformer was designed to respond to the increased need for voltage and stock flexibility. It combines multiple primary voltages with one or more secondary voltages, all in a single transfomer. The most flexible MultiTap voltage is the Universal, available on the Type T product line only. It allows for standard primary voltages of 208 to 600V and 110, 115, or 120V secondary voltages.Industrial Control TransformersType T TransformersTYPE T TRANSFORMERSThe Type T units are designed for the global market and are the best choice when size and cost are of concern. This is our most popular and complete offering of industrial control transformers. The following features are included:•50/60 Hz rated•Customer installed accessories (Finger-Safe covers, fuse blocks, fuse clips)•Type T transformers are designed with various temperature classes:—25–150 VA with a 55° C temperature rise, 105° C insulation —200–350 VA with a 80° C temperature rise, 130° C insulation —500–5000 VA with a 115° C temperature rise, 180° C insulationSchneider Electric manufactures a wide variety of voltage combinations for control transformers. The voltage combinations are expressed as “Voltage Codes”, and are embedded within the catalog number of the transformer. Standard codes are listed. If the voltage combination you need is not listed, please call your Schneider Electric distributor for assistance.CE MarkingIndustrial control transformers (ICTs) entering the European Union (EU) after January 1, 1997 are required by EU standards to have CE marking or Declaration of Conformity to CE. EU documentation requires compliance with specification EN 61 558 of the Low Voltage Directive. Type T ICTs from Schneider Electric comply with this specification and are third party tested to T ÜV standards, which adhere to, and are accepted by, EU standards. A Declaration of Conformity for all Type T units is available upon request.Because of different overload criteria in the CE specification,Schneider Elecric dual rates these transformers for UL VA, cUL VA, CSA VA, NOM VA and CE VA ratings (see “Type T VA Ratings” table). Because they are widely used with control circuit panels, ICTs are also required to comply with EN 60 204 and EN 61 558 in these applications. The Type T transformer line complies with EN 60 204 when Fingersafe ® covers are installed. For more information regarding CE marking, please contact your local Schneider Electric field sales office.Type T VA RatingsUL, cUL, CSA and NOM VA RatingCEVA Rating252550507575100100150150200200250160300200350250500300750500100063015001000200015003000200050003000Type T ListingsListingFileVA RangeUL E61239, Guide XPTQ225–5000cUL E612391500–5000CSALR37055, Guide 184-N-9025–1000EN947923, EN 61 558/01.89 (TUV ref: 00941-RAG/sg E9371495E01)25–2009579078, EN 61 558/01.89 (TUV ref: 00941-RAG/sg E9471921E01)250–10009579078, EN 61 558/01.89 (TUV ref: 00941-RAG/sg E9471921.02E01)1500–3000Industrial Control TransformersType T Transformers120 Volt Control SecondaryVoltage and Connection OptionsVoltage CodeVoltagesConnectionsPrimary SecondaryPrimarySecondaryD1220 x 440230 x 460240 x 480110115120220/230/240 V:Connect to H1 and H4Jumper H1 with H3Jumper H2 with H4440/460/480 V:Connect to H1 and H4Jumper H2 with H3Connect to X1 and X2DimensionsVA CatalogNumberFigureAcc. If the loop detector is located near sources of electrical or magnetic disturbances, e.g. from other loop detectors, some channels can be more advantageous to use than others. Two loop detectors placed in close proximity of each other should use different channels to avoid crosstalk between the loops.• When DIP SWITCH 1 is set to ON, the user manually selects which channel is used by setting DIP switch 2 and 3.• When DIP SWITCH 1 is set to OFF, during startup the loop detector automatically measures disturbances present on all four channels and selects the channel with best signal conditions. Note that this procedure will be performed every time the loop detector is powered up or reset. The white LED will show which channel has been selected (refer to the Indication Session on page 5).DIP SWITCH 2 and 3 - Frequency channel selectionThese two DIP switches are used to select which channel the loop detector should use. The channels can only be selected when manual channel selection is set on DIP switch 1. When mode is set to automatic channel selection, DIP switch 2 and 3 do not have any function.DIP SWITCH 4 - Turn-on delayThe loop detector has a Turn-on delay filter which can be enabled to help to avoid false vehicle detections.• When DIP SWITCH 4 is set to ON, the Turn-on delay is activated and any detections shorter than 2 seconds will not cause the output to activate. This function is suitable for detection of stationary or slow moving vehicles.• When DIP SWITCH 4 is set to OFF, the Turn-on delay is disabled and output has normal response time. This function is suitable for detection of fast moving vehicles.DIP SWITCH 5 - Automatically Sensitivity Boost (ASB)High bed vehicles such as trucks and trailers normally gives a strong signal when the wheel axles are inside the circumference of the loop. However the signal drops significantly when the loop is between the wheel axles or between a truck and its trailer. When ASB function is enabled, the sensitivity is boosted to avoid output deactivation when signal level is reduced, but high bed vehicle is still on top of the loop.• When DIP SWITCH 5 is set to ON, the ASB function is active and sensitivity is boosted to avoid false deactivations. This mode is recommended for applications where detection of trucks and other high bed vehicles is needed.• When DIP SWITCH 5 is set to OFF, the loop detector uses normal sensitivity levels. This mode is recommended for detection of normal cars, vans etc. with low bed height.DIP SWITCH 6 - Failure modeThis function determines the state of the output relays, both during normal operation and when a failure is detected in the system.Note: When Fail Safe mode is selected, the operation of both output relays will be inverted. This means that the Normally Open (NO) contact will become a Normally Closed (NC) contact and the Normally Closed (NC) contact will become a Normally Open (NO) contact.• When DIP SWITCH 6 is set to ON, the product will operate in FAIL SECURE mode. In case of a failure on the loop detector, in the loop wire or loss of power, the outputs will indicate no detection of a vehicle.• When DIP SWITCH 6 is set to OFF, the product will operate in FAIL SAFE mode. In case of a failure on the loop detector, in the loop wire or loss of power, the outputs will indicate detection of a vehicle.Failure mode operationFailure mode set to secureVEHICLEYes No Yes NoON OFF POWER LOOP FAULT OUTPUT (NO)OUTPUT (NC)Closed Open ClosedOpenFailure mode set to safeVEHICLEYes No Yes NoON OFF POWER LOOP FAULT OUTPUT (NO)OUTPUT (NC)Closed Open ClosedOpenDIP SWITCH 7 - Output mode for relay 1This setting determines how relay 1 should indicate a vehicle detection in the loop. The loop detector can generate a single pulse, each time a vehicle enters or leaves the loop (Pulse mode). Alternatively the output can be keept activate as long as there is a vehicle present inside the loop (Presence mode).• When DIP SWITCH 7 is set to ON relay 1 operates in Presence mode and output is activated as long as a vehicle is present inside the loop.• When DIP SWITCH 7 is set to OFF relay 1 operates in Pulse mode and generates a pulse each time a vehicle entersor leaves the loop.Note: DIP switch 8 and 9 will have different functionality depending if product is set to operate in Pulse or Presence mode on DIP switch 7.DIP SWITCH 8 - Time setting for relay 1 (only for Pulse mode)When the loop detector is operating in Pulse mode (see DIP switch 7), the pulse length can be changed with DIP switch 8.• When DIP SWITCH 8 is set to ON relay 1 creates a pulse with a duration of 0.5 s for each activation.• When DIP SWITCH 8 is set to OFF relay 1 creates a pulse with a duration of 0.1 s for each activation.DIP SWITCH 9 - Entry or Exit mode for relay 1 (only for Pulse mode)When the loop detector is operating in Pulse mode (see DIP switch 7), the output pulse can be generated either when a vehicle enters the loop or when a vehicle exits the loop. The CNH-JD Bridge is designed to bridge the communication between a Case or New Holland row crop tractor (2012-2019) (autosteer ready) and a John Deere display (1800, 2600, 2630 or 4640, 4240). This allows a JD display to create maps in the John Deere format and also provides JD autosteer. The operator uses the JD display to create AB-lines. The current position is determined by a John Deere receiver and all this information is used by the CNH-JD Bridge to create steering instructions for the tractor. All conditions for autosteer such as minimum speed, steering enabled etc. must be met by the CNH system before the autosteer engage option in the tractor can be activated.NOTICEThis manual is not intended to replace the manuals for the tractor or the John Deere system. The operator must read and understand the manuals and instructions of these systems, before using the AgraGPS CNH-JD Bridge.Installation of the CNH-JD -R-15 BridgePark the machine where the ground is level, dry and clean. Leave the machine OFF during the installation.Follow safety practices and read the instructions carefully as you proceed in the install process. The CNH-JD-R-15 kit consists of:- The JD-Bridge itself- A cable to the JD GPS from the portA and portBroof connectors of the machine- An adapter cable for the ISO communication andpower (brown 12-pin and grey 3-pin connector)- An adapter from the JD-Bridge to the JD Monitor- An adapter for valve, operator override etc. (black12-pin connector)Step 1: Open the control panelOpen the control panel on the right side and findthe brown 12-pin DTM connector and the grey 3-pin connector. The CNH-JD Bridge R-15 connects to the brown connector for canbus and ISO communications. It also connects to the grey 3-pin for power supply.Use the short adapter to connect the brown and grey connectors to the Bridge.Note:The Bridge itself can be placed behind that control panel once the install is complete.Depending on the cab model, your nav controller connections may be on the outside below the cab rear window (top photo) under the plastic panel or inside the cab under a metal plate (bottom photo). At the back of the cab, remove the black metal cover so you can access the wiring behind. Locate the 40-pin deutsch and 24-pin deutschwhich may be connected to a nav controller (if equipped). Disconnect both from the nav controller. Note: The nav controller is not required and can be removed if it is installed.(With the steer controller exposed)Use the red deutsch removal tool, to remove a number of connections on the 24-pin deutsch connector and re-pin them to the 40-pin deutsch on the same cable. From the 24pin, move the following cables:Frompin 3 to pin 7 of the 40-pin deutschpin 4 to pin 16 of the 40-pin deutschUse the 2nd adapter which has the black 40-pin deutsch connector, and the long cable to the 2-pin deutsch (DT).Connect the black 40-pin deutsch of the adapter to the 40-pin from the machine that was modified in the last step.Run the 2-pin deutsch under the cab to the front left side of the tractor. The valve sits right in the front of the cab and may be difficult to reach. Lift the tractor hood to allow for better access.Remove the existing 2-pin connector from the valve block and connect the 2-pin from the adapter. Secure the cable away from any heat source and moving parts. Use plastic cable ties. Now take the 3rd adaper and connect the portA(X-295) + portB (X-433A) connectors from the machine to the John Deere GPS receiver (here a SF6000). The receiver must be mounted at the front of the roof! The adapter cables should be marked with an A or B label to match the machine ports. If they are not marked:The 12-pin deutsch that has the pins:pin 1 – Yellowpin 12 – GreenConnects to portB of the machineThe other 12-pin deutsch connects to portAAlso run the display adapter (4th adapter) from the bridge to the John Deere display(here a 4640).Reinstall covers on the tractor and secure all loose cables away from moving parts and heat sources. Important – The steer enable switch must be active in order to begin autosteering. To make this switch active, move the switch to the downwards position from the upwards position (So the switch is not lit up) AFTER the machine has already been started.Step 6: ISO ApplicationThe CNH bridge comes with an ISO application that will be loaded onto the John Deere monitor. The app should automatically store itself on the monitor after the first few minutes of the initial startup. On subsequent runs the app will load itself from memory as soon as possible. The CNH app includes:–Calibration–Option to change work recording mode–Option to change the machine type–Optional autosteer engage button & status–Help and Support page–Diagnostic Page–Advanced testing pageWhere to find the CNH ISO application on the John Deere monitor:–On a John Deere 4640the application will beloaded in the ISOBusVT section on themain page of thedisplay.–On John Deere 1800,2600, 2630 theapplication will be shownin the side menu of theJohn Deere display. Theside menu is opened byclicking the button on thebottom right of thedisplay.–NOTE: John Deere 1800and 2600 monitors do notshow a loading bar forISO applications, while2630 and 4640 monitorsdo. If the ISO application is not loaded:–Try clearing the monitor's memory. On 2630 monitors this can be done in the Message Center in the side menu. Go to the Cleanup tab, check controllers, then Begin Cleanup. On 4640monitors this can be done in the info page of the ISOBus VT. Navigate to the ISOBus VTwindow and click the info button at the top of the page, then press Clean Up ISO Bus VT.–Do a hard reset of the John Deere monitor (Unplug it, then plug it back in).–Do a full restart of the machine. Remember the app may take a few minutes to load.Step 7a: Calibration (CNH) - ISOAppSection – Steering Valve: Allows the user to set the left and right max of the CNH machine. To calibrate, steer as far left as possible and press, “Set Left”. Then, steer as far right as possible and press,“Set Right”.Section – Transducer: Allows the user to set the steering wheel movement detection. While the machine is running, ensure the wheel angle is straight and the machine is in park. Then, press, “Set Transducer”.Section – Deadband: Allows the user to calibrate the deadband of the valves. Ensure the perimeter around the machine is clear and press the Start/Stop button to begin. An indicator will blink yellow while calibration is in progress and will take approximately five minutes.。
