My Dream December13, 2007Good afternoon, honorable judges, dear teachers and close friends.It’s my honor to stand here and share my dreams with you today, before my speech, please allow me to introduce myself to you ,my name is Qin Li, I’m from Class Two Senior One. You know I have lots of dreams that have gone along with time, my dreams always change in different periods, I once wanted to be a policeman or a soldier who can safeguard the society safety or defend our country, but now, I really want to be an artist. I believe I can realize it.At the beginning, I tell myself to realize my dream no matter how hard it is, everyone knows there is nothing difficult if you devote yourself to doing.If I become an artist, I’ll use my bru sh to paint this beautiful world in which we live peacefully and cheerfully. I want to paint the blue sky, white cloud, green mountains and many other beautiful things, of course, I also hope everyone will buy my pictures so that I can make a lot of money, then I will build the biggest schools where all the poor children can go to study and accept the equal education like others who their parents are able to offer, at the same time, the children who got help have to study hard in order to build our country in the future. So I know I must work hard and obtain more knowledge from now on. Everyone has a dream.Martin Luther King had a dream-and we can all recall his Civil Rights Speech.Phil Knight had a dream-and now the whole world knows his Nike Slogan“Just Do It”!I also have a dream,but not only a simple one.When I was in primary school,my dream was that I would be a doctor when I grew up.I’ll be the first person who produces a new medicine.This kind of medicine can make teachers relax when they are busy correcting their students’ exercises and preparing their lessons.Because one day when I woke up at midnight,I found my father,a senior Chinese teacher,was still busy with his work.I was deeply moved.I wish my father could be healthy and relaxed every minute.Now I’m a senior Grade Two student,all my classmates and I are working hard,we all know the College Entrance Examination which will cne in the year of 2005 is a big problem for us.We must study harder and harder in order to go to a good university,then when we finish our school,we can find a good job in society.My dream is also that.Though now I’m not good at study,I’ll try my best.I know fantasy is hard to cne true,bue dream can.I’ll work hard for my dreams,I’ll never give upMy dreamDreams are the wind for our sails on the ocean. Dreams kindle a flame to illuminate our dark roads. Dreams are the armor for our fragile hearts. Martin Luther King had a dream — it was to have justice for all people. Lincoln had a dream — it was to set the slaves free. They sought their dreams and ultimately made them come true. When I was young, I saw a dog one day. I threw a stone at it just for fun. Then it fell down and looked very weak. At that moment, I was surprised to notice it was pregnant. I can’t remember what happened next, but there’s one thing I know: that I felt guilty. It was the first time that I found life could so easily pass away. At that time, I had a dream, which was to help those people who needed help. There are too many wars and disasters. About 16,000 people have died in the Iraq War and one child dies every eight seconds in Africa because of starvation. I have dreams, you have dreams and they have dreams too. We should help them. We should save their lives so that they can pursue thei r own dreams. Just like the lyric of a song says, “We are the ones who make a brighter day so let’s start giving.” Well, that’s my dream, a simple but meaningful one.Everyone may have his own dream. Someone may want to be rich, someone may want to be bea utiful, and someone may want to have power. But I’m different from them. My dream is special. I want to have a pair of wings. Because I want to fly in the sky，I like the feeling of freedom.If I have a pair of wings，I’m sure it will be very wonderful. I ca n fly below the blue sky with the birds. I can enjoy the music of birds’. I can fly across the cloud and the small wind will blow past my face. The feeling must be the same as that my mother caresses me.I can fly over the sea, below the rainbow, through the forest I can see all the wonderful view. But I know that it will never be uteri have another instead. I want to have a fly of my own. The plane must be very small and light. It has to carry only one person. It can fly by wind or sunshine. It can fly for a very long time. And the important thing is that it must be very save.I’m sure I can have this plane some day. And I can have fly to everywhereI wantDream is strength. The strength can bring us wherever we want to get to and it can bring us a lot of wonders on our way to the place in our dreams.Dream is beauty. Maybe you can see the things full of magic and maybe you will be moved by your own dream. Have you dreamed of being a princess? Have you dreamed of being a successful person? Oh, you can understand clearly that all the things in your dreams is unrealistic. The world is so real that all the dreams seem weak. But should we have our life without dreams? Of course not.The truth never fails to tell you: no dream, no hope. If nobody had dreamed of flying like a bird, we should never have known that a machine called plane could bring us to the places in the air. And we would never have got the chance of development any more. Some people have said that the world would be in darkness if there hadn’t be en Edison. He ever had a dream of keeping the sun above our head day and night and he really lightens our life. So what will happen if everyone has a dream and get down to making it come true? There is nothing impossible if you do.Here, I also have my dreams. I hope that I can live a genteel life to enjoy a pure-nice happiness. I have a dream that all the people could pursue their dream freely and get equal chances to everything . I have a dream that evil will lose their life and love will fill up the blanket. I have a dream that one day I can stand with all of you to see the dream turn to reality together.梦想就是力量。
