我们应经学习了限制性定语从句的有关知识,现在我们用对比的方法来学习一下非限制性定语从句的有关知识。
非限制性定语从句是对先行词的附加说明,与主句关系不十分密切,若省去也不影响主句的意思,它和主句之间用逗号隔开。
两者比较如下:(从五点内容进行区分)1. 结构不同限制性定语从句常紧接在先行词后,主从句之间没有逗号隔开;而非限制性定语从句与先行词之间常用逗号分开,并且as引导的非限制性定语从句还可放在主句之前。
