Spring Festival in My Heart
In China,the Spring Festival plays a fetal role for more than 4000 years. For Chinese the importance of Spring Festival not only lies on the culture of the Spring Festival but also on the people’s life. Wherever you are, on the falling day of the Spring Festival ,the thoughts of your relatives, your family, your country will be greater than you’ve ever experienced.
In my memorize, the Spring Festival is the time of family reunion. My parents will come back on this day with beautiful clothes, delicious food and some presents. And in the evening we can talk some interesting things and watch TV together. On the Eve of the Spring Festival , the dark night will be illuminated by fireworks. This evening will be the best one in the year.

Spring Festival in My Heart
The spring festival is very important for Chinese. The position of the spring festival just like the position of the Christmas for people in the West. The spring festival usually begins on the Eve of the spring festival and lasts for 15 days.
Before the festival , there is a long time for preparation. Such as making the cured meat, cleaning the house, buying the new clothes and the food, offering sacrifice for ancestors and gods etc.
On the Eve of the Spring Festival, we can have a Family Dinner. After that elderly people will begin to talk to each other, adults will play Majiang together,and kids will play fireworks together. The next days, we will visit our relatives and have a feast in their home. It’s not only a good time for us to strengthen the relationship with our relatives but also a time for kids to make more new friends.
Spring Festival in My Heart
Spring Festival in China is the most popular one. For elderly people it’s the time of reunion.; for adults it’s the time for rest;for kids it’s the time for lucky money. Usually people have 7 days off during the festival. And they can do many things on these days.
First they should come home from their working place. But it’s not easy for many people because of the poor transportation. Secondly every family could buy many things for the New Year,such as new clothes ,food ,candies, decorations and so on. Thirdly, make a feast for the whole family on the Eve of the Spring Festival. And after dinner, people will talk about their New Year’s wishes, play fireworks together and children will get their lucky money from their elders.
It’s the happiest time in a year!。
