C
A
B
求证:AB=AD
A
D
B
C
证明:∵AD ∥BC(已知) ∴∠ADB= ∠CBD(两直线平行,内错 角相等)
∠ADB= ∠ADC,
B
D
∠B=∠C, C AD=AD(公共边),
∵△BAD≌△CAD(AAS)
∴AB=AC(全等三角形的对应边 相等)
已知:在△ABC中,∠A=∠B=∠C 求证:AB=AC=BC A

嗅觉:豆麦和水草的"清香";

1My Amazing Summer VacationThis summer was the best one ever! I had so many adventures and did tons of fun things. First, my family went on an amazing trip to Beijing for two weeks. We saw so many incredible sights and learned a lot about China's history and culture. Our first stop was the Forbidden City. Walking through those huge gates made me feel tiny! The palaces and gardens inside were breathtaking. I loved seeing all the bright colors, intricate carvings, and beautiful architecture. My favorite part was the Imperial Garden with its amazing landscapes and pretty pagodas.I felt like I had stepped back in time to ancient China.Next, we went to the Great Wall. I couldn't believe how massive it was! We hiked along the wall for a few hours, going up and down the steep steps. It was exhausting but so much fun. The views from the top were spectacular - you could see the wallsnaking over the mountains for miles and miles. No wonder it's considered one of the great wonders of the world! After Beijing, we traveled to Xi'an to see more historical sites. The Muslim Quarter was my favorite part - it was like stepping into another world. The narrow winding alleyways were packed with tiny shops and stalls selling everything you could imagine - fresh bread, clothing, trinkets, herbs and spices, and more. The smells of all the delicious street food cooking made my mouth water. We tried so many yummy local snacks like roujiamo, yangroupaomo, and guokui. I just loved experiencing the vibrant energy and culture there. The last stop on our trip was Chengdu to see the famous giant pandas. They were even more adorable in person than in pictures and videos! We went to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding and got to see pandas of all ages - tiny babies, rambunctious youngsters, and huge adults. Watching the pandas munch on bamboo, roll around, and play was the cutest thing ever. I could have spent all day there observing them. I really hope we can do more to protect these gentle creatures and their habitat. When we returned home, I didn't have too much time to rest before summer camp started. I went to a day camp at the localrecreation center for a month. Every week had a different fun theme like "Explore the Rainforest," "Eureka! Science Week," "Culinary Creations," and more. We did all kinds of awesome activities and games related to the weekly theme.Science Week was probably my favorite. We got to do tons of hands-on experiments and learn about different scientific concepts. One day we made homemade lava lamps using oil, food coloring, and an Alka-Seltzer tablet. Watching the colorful blobs ooze up and down was so mesmerizing! Another time we built air-powered rockets from paper and straws, then launched them across the gym. The rocket that went the farthest won a prize. I loved the engineering challenge of trying to build an aerodynamic design. We also extracted DNA from a strawberry using dish soap and other household items. It was so cool to actually see the stretchy white DNA strands!Culinary Creations week was a blast too. We learned about nutrition, kitchen safety, reading recipes, and more. Then we got to make and eat several yummy treats like chocolate lava cakes, homemade pizza, and tacos. Everything tasted delicious because we made it ourselves from scratch. My favorite was decorating the mini bundt cakes with colorful icing and sprinkles. A few of them got a little...messy...but it was all in good fun. We also had alittle bake sale at the end of the week to raise money for the camp. I'm really proud of the teamwork it took to organize and run that.In my free time, I loved hanging out with my friends and staying active. We went to the pool nearly every day, swimming and splashing around for hours. The waterslide at the big pool downtown was my favorite - I probably went down it over a hundred times! I also continued practicing Muay Thai, the martial art I started learning last year. It's a great workout and I feel like I got a lot stronger and more skilled over the summer. A bunch of us neighborhood kids would have epic basketball games during the day too. I loved the competition, strategizing, and teamwork of those backyard battles. At night, I loved reading novels and getting lost in other worlds and characters' lives. My goal was to read at least one book per week, and I actually exceeded that! Some of my favorite books were The Hunger Games series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and Holes. I find dystopian and fantasy stories so engrossing. They really spark my imagination and make me ponder bigger life questions too.Now that summer is over and school has started again, I almost miss the freedom and slower pace. Almost. I'm actuallyreally excited to start 8th grade and dive into more challenging coursework, activities, and experiences. This is going to be an important transitional year before high school. I want to work hard, get involved, and make the most of every opportunity. I have a feeling this year is going to be full of growth and adventure, just like my amazing summer was. Bring it on!篇2My School LifeHello there! My name is Lily and I'm a student in the 8th grade. Today, I want to tell you all about my life at school. Get ready for an inside look into the world of an 8th grader! To start with, I have to admit that getting up early for school is definitely not my favorite thing. That alarm clock blaring at 6:30 am is like nails on a chalkboard! I'm definitely not a morning person. But I know I have to drag myself out of my warm, cozy bed and get ready for another day of classes. The first class of the day is usually English. I have to say, English is one of my stronger subjects. I find the grammar rules and vocabulary pretty interesting, even though some of my classmates groan about it. Reading the stories and novels we goover in class is fun for me as I get to imagine myself in different worlds and situations.Next up is usually math class and that's where things get a bit trickier for me. All those numbers, formulas and equations just seem to swim around in my head sometimes. I really have to concentrate hard to keep up. Luckily, I have some good friends who are math whizzes and they help me out when I get stuck on a tough problem. My favorite class has to be art though. I just love being able to express myself creatively through painting, drawing, sculpting and all the different art mediums we use. Getting messy with paints and clays is super fun and relaxing for me. Whenever I'm feeling stressed about school, art class is like an oasis. In the afternoons, we usually have classes like history, science and literature. History is interesting enough as we get to learn all about how the world evolved over time. However, I have to admit that keeping all those dates, names and events straight can get pretty confusing after a while!Science class is a mixed bag for me. While I find the subject matter intriguing, especially when we get to do experiments and projects, there's just so much information and terminology totake in. I feel like my brain is overloaded by the time that class ends.Literature is another favorite subject of mine though. Reading different novels, poems, short stories and plays from around the world is such an enriching experience. Analyzing the deeper meanings and symbolic representations in the texts really sparks my imagination.Once the final bell rings at 3:30pm, I feel both relieved and exhausted. A full day of hitting the books really takes it out of me mentally! That's when I get to unwind by hanging out with my friends, pursuing hobbies and just being a typical 8th grader. We love going to the mall, the movies or just hanging out at someone's house listening to music. Having that downtime to chat, laugh and not worry about academics for a while is so refreshing. On weekends, I try to not think about school at all and just enjoy time with my family, maybe get some physical activity in like going for a hike or playing sports.I have to say, being in 8th grade definitely keeps me on my toes. Juggling all the different classes, tests, homework and extracurricular activities is a huge challenge. It's like being pulled in a million different directions! Some days I wonder how I'll make it all the way to high school, let alone college, with all the hard work and intensity involved. But I know millions of other students all over the world are going through the same experiences, which makes me feel less alone. At the end of the day, as much as I may groan and complain, I know I'm lucky to have the opportunity to get an education. So many kids around the world don't have access to schools and teachers. I try to always keep that in perspective and be grateful. While school can certainly be overwhelming at times, it's preparing me for the real world that lies ahead. I'm developing vital skills like time management, discipline, hard work and perseverance. As tough as it is, I know it will be worth it in the long run.So there you have it, folks - an uncensored glimpse into my daily life as an 8th grade student. It's a non-stop whirlwind for sure, but I'm taking it all in stride. After all, this is just the first step in my journey towards becoming an adult with a career and life of my own someday. Wish me luck as I conquer 8th grade!篇3Title: My Unforgettable Summer VacationAh, summer vacation – the time of year that every kid eagerly awaits! No more early mornings, no more homework, and no more boring classes. Just pure freedom to do whatever we want, whenever we want. This past summer was definitely one to remember! The first few weeks were pretty uneventful. I slept in late every day, played video games until my eyes hurt, andbinge-watched my favorite shows on Netflix. But eventually, my mom got tired of me being a couch potato and decided it was time for me to get out of the house and do something productive. That's when she signed me up for a summer camp at the local community center. At first, I was really bummed out about having to wake up early and spend my days doing organized activities. But as soon as I got to camp, I realized it wasn't going to be so bad after all.The camp was all about outdoor adventures and survival skills. On the first day, we learned how to pitch a tent and build a campfire. Our counselors taught us how to use a compass and read a map, which came in handy later on when we went hiking in the nearby woods. One of the coolest things we did was learn how to fish. We spent a whole day at a nearby lake, and our counselors showed us how to bait our hooks, cast our lines, and (hopefully) reel in a big catch. I ended up catching a tiny little fish, but some of the other kids caught some real whoppers!Another highlight of camp was the overnight camping trip. We hiked deep into the forest and set up our tents in a secluded campsite. That night, we roasted marshmallows over the campfire, told scary stories, and gazed up at the millions of stars in the night sky. It was an experience I'll never forget. But my favorite part of camp was definitely the rock climbing wall. At first, I was terrified of heights and didn't want to try it. But after watching some of my new friends scale the wall with ease, I decided to give it a shot. With the encouragement of the counselors and the safety harness securely fastened, I slowly but surely made my way up the wall. The sense of accomplishment I felt when I finally reached the top was indescribable. As the summer came to a close, I was actually a little sad to be leaving camp behind. I had made so many new friends and learned so many cool new skills. But most importantly, I had stepped out of my comfort zone and tried things I never thought I'd be brave enough to do.Looking back, this summer vacation was definitely one for the books. I can't wait to see what other adventures await me next year!篇4My Summer Vacation AdventureSummer vacation is the best time of the year! No school, no homework, just days and days of fun and freedom. This past summer, I had the most amazing adventure that I'll never forget. Let me tell you all about it!It started when my parents told me and my little brother that we were going on a trip. A real trip, not just a short drive to grandma's house. They said we were going to fly to another country! I was so excited, I had never been on a plane before. After what felt like forever, the summer holidays finally arrived. We woke up super early and drove to the airport. Everything was so big and busy, with people rushing everywhere. The airport reminded me of a giant ant colony. Finally, it was our turn to board the plane. I felt a little nervous as we walked down the tunnel and into the huge aircraft. But as soon as I saw my window seat, I forgot all about beingscared. The plane took off smoothly, and before I knew it, we were up in the clouds! Looking down at the tiny houses and cars below was incredible.Hours later, the pilot announced we would be landing soon. I could hardly contain my excitement as I peered out the window, trying to get my first glimpse of our destination. That's when I saw it - the most beautiful island I had ever seen, with bright blue water all around it. "Welcome to Hawaii!" the pilot's voice crackled over the intercom.Stepping off the plane, the warm tropical air hit my face and I instantly felt relaxed. We collected our bags and a friendly Hawaiian man placed traditional flower leis around our necks. I had never seen or smelled such gorgeous, vibrant flowers before. For the next two weeks, we had the vacation of a lifetime. We stayed in an amazing resort right on the beach, with pools, waterslides, and every amenity you could imagine. Every morning, I would run down to the beach to play in the soft white sand and swim in the crystal clear ocean. The water was so calm, warm, and inviting. In the afternoons, we went on all kinds of adventures. One day, we hiked through a lush tropical rainforest to see a beautiful waterfall. Another day, we took a boat tour around the island tospot whales, dolphins, and sea turtles. We also went snorkeling at a coral reef, where we saw hundreds of brightly colored fish. But my absolute favorite experience was visiting a volcano! We took a long drive up a winding mountain road until we reached the national park entrance. From there, we hiked across fields of black hardened lava. I felt like I was walking on the moon! Finally, we arrived at the main crater, which was filled with bright orange bubbling lava. It was incredible to see such raw, intense power and heat coming from deep inside the earth. All too soon, our vacation came to an end. I was very sad to leave behind the beautiful beaches, warm climate, and laid-back island lifestyle. But I took home so many wonderful memories that I'll cherish forever. Maybe someday, when I'm older, I'll even have the chance to visit Hawaii again. Until then, I have hundreds of photos and videos to look back on and remind me of my amazing summer vacation adventure!篇5My School LifeHey there! I'm an 8th grader and I want to share a bit about my life at school. School sure keeps me busy, but I actually reallyenjoy it most of the time. There's always something new to learn or an interesting activity going on.One of my favorite classes is English. I've been studying it since I was really little and I've gotten pretty good at it over the years. This year we're using a textbook called PEP and the first unit is all about school subjects and extracurricular activities. It's cool because I can totally relate to the topics. In the unit, there are readings about different school subjects like math, science, history and more. The readings describe what the classes are like and what you learn in them. For example, the science reading talks about experiments students do in labs. We actually just did a really neat experiment in my science class last week! We had to combine different chemicals and observe the reactions. It was awesome when two liquids turned into a crazy frothy green mixture. I love hands-on stuff like that. There are also readings about activities students can do outside of regular classes. Things like sports teams, music groups, art clubs and academic competitions. I play on the basketball team and I'm in the school band too. Basketball games and concerts are so much fun and really help break up the routine of regular classes. For the writing part of the unit, we have to describe our favorite school subjects and activities. We need to use examples and details to make it interesting for the reader. I definitely plan to write about science class and all the cool experiments we get to do. I'll describe that zany green chemical reaction I mentioned. And for extracurriculars, I'm going to focus on band since I'm really passionate about it. I'll write about the performances we've done and how much work goes into practicing and preparing for them.Another type of writing we have to do is compare and contrast two school subjects or activities. So I could compare science and math class, talking about how they are similar with all the formulas and numbers. But also how they are different, like science having more hands-on experiments. Or I could contrast playing on a sports team versus being in a club by discussing the team practices and competitions compared to just meeting up occasionally for a club.We even have to do some creative writing for this unit, like writing a short story from the perspective of a student, teacher or principal. I think I'll write a story about a school field trip gone haywire! Maybe the bus gets a flat tire in the middle of nowhere and students have to help change it. Or there's a snack machinemalfunction and kids get pelted with candy bars. A funny story with exaggerated events could be pretty entertaining. In addition to writing, we also have to do presentations for this unit. We can either do them live in front of the class orpre-record videos. I really despise public speaking so I'm definitely going to go the video route. I'm planning to put together a slideshow highlighting my favorite school subjects and activities, with pictures and voiceover explaining why I like them so much. I could record myself giving a school tour too, showing off different classrooms, the gym, music rooms and more.Overall, I'm really enjoying this unit so far. The topics are super relevant to my daily life as a student. Writing, presenting and learning about school in a schoolbook is sort of meta, but it makes everything seem applicable. The readings give some good perspective on the bigger picture of education and its importance. While the activities get me thinking critically about my areas of interest and how to analyze them.Sometimes I have to work really hard on assignments for this unit and others. But putting in the effort is worth it when I get good grades or Ace class presentations. My parents are always so proud. And hey, at least I'm learning life skills like publicspeaking, analytical writing and creativity that will help me down the road.School keeps me crazy busy between all my classes, homework, activities and trying to have a social life. But I honestly wouldn't want it any other way. The variety and mental stimulation is energizing, even if I do feel drained some nights. I know I'm lucky to have the opportunity to learn so much. And you better believe I'll soak up as much knowledge as I can! An education is invaluable. So that's a little glimpse into my jam-packed school life. Thank you for reading and I'll catch you later! I篇6My School LifeHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm a student in the 8th grade. I'm really excited to tell you all about my school life and the things we've been learning in English class. Our textbook this semester is super cool and full of interesting topics. In Unit 1, we've been talking a lot about schools, education, and student life. I have to say, even though I sometimes find English class challenging, I'm really enjoying the conversations we've been having. One of the main topics we've covered is different school subjects and the activities involved in each one. In English, of course, we spend a lot of time reading, writing, and practicing conversation. But we also analyze literature, learn about grammar rules, and do fun projects like writing stories or acting out dialogues. I have to admit, English was pretty tough for me at first because there are so many tricky grammar points and weird spelling rules. But I've been working really hard and my grades have improved a lot this year!Math class is definitely one of the most intense subjects. We have to memorize formulas, do tons of calculations, and solve all sorts of crazy equations and word problems. Honestly, math has never been my strongest suit - I get numbers mixed up sometimes and the theories just seem so abstract. But my math teacher Mr. Wang is really good at breaking things downstep-by-step, so I've been able to follow along better lately. And you know what they say - practice makes perfect! The more examples I work through, the more it all starts clicking into place.Science is another major subject that takes up a good chunk of our schedule. We learn about biology, chemistry, physics, you name it. My favourite part is definitely the experiments we get to do in the lab. There's nothing quite like the thrill of combiningchemicals and watching crazy reactions happen right before your eyes! The hardest part is writing up the lab reports afterwards with all the precise terminology and analysis. Science is all about concrete facts and evidence, so you really have to be accurate. Those are what you could call the "core" academic subjects. But we also have some other great classes that I really enjoy. Art class is a nice creative break where we get to draw, paint, sculpt with clay - it's a chance to unleash our artistic talents. PE is awesome too because I love staying active and pushing my physical limits through different sports and fitness activities. Music class gives me an opportunity to learn about notes, rhythms, instruments, and song composition. And of course, we can't forget Chinese literature where we analyze ancient poems, texts, and philosophical ideas. While academics make up the bulk of our studies, school life isn't ALL about classes and exams. We also have plenty of opportunities to get involved through various clubs and extracurricular activities. I'm a member of the English Drama Club, where we get to act out stories and skits entirely in English. It's been fantastic for building my confidence with spoken English. Some of my friends are part of the Student Council, Environmental Club, Robotics Club, you name it. Gettinginvolved allows us to explore different interests while also developing important skills like leadership, teamwork, and event planning.Another big part of being a student is TIME MANAGEMENT! Whew, I can't even count how many nights I've stayed up late cramming for a test or finishing a major assignment. With so many classes, homework, projects, and commitments, it can be really tough to stay on top of everything. My parents are always reminding me about the importance of setting priorities, making schedules, and using my time wisely. Some of my classmates are shockingly good at juggling a million things at once with perfect grades. I definitely have room for improvement there! So that's a taste of what my daily existence is like as an 8th grade student in China. Between language classes, STEM subjects, humanities, extracurriculars, and more, my mind is constantly being stretched in new directions. Sure, there are moments when I feel overwhelmed and wish I had more free time. But at the end of the day, I know the knowledge and skills I'm gaining will set me up for success in whatever path I pursue later on. Every math problem wrestle with, every essay I labor over, every experiment I conduct - it's all preparation for the future. My teachers are tough but they push us to reach our fullpotential. And of course, my parents are a constant source of support, encouraging me to work hard, never give up, and keep aiming higher. In these critical years of schooling, I'm being equipped with the tools I need for the next chapter. So wish me luck - the journey has only just begun!。

1My Summer VacationYay, summer vacation finally started! No more waking up super early and going to school. I was so excited for all the fun things I could do. My parents said we would go on a trip this year which made me really happy. The first week was kind of boring though. My parents were still working so I was home alone a lot. I played video games and watched TV shows, but after a few days I got pretty bored of that. My best friend Jack was also out of town that week visiting his grandparents. Finally, the second week my parents took some time off work and we went on our big vacation! We drove up north to this national park in the mountains. The drive took forever, I think we were in the car for like 6 hours. My little sister Katie wouldn't stop crying and asking "Are we there yet?" which was really annoying. But I had my Nintendo Switch so I played games the whole time. When we got there, the national park was so beautiful! There were these huge mountains all around us covered in green trees and some still had snow on the tops. We stayed in a cute little cabin right by a rushing river. At night we could hear the river outside and it was such a relaxing sound. We also had a firepit in the backyard where we roasted marshmallows and my dad told us scary stories.During the days we went on a lot of fun hikes and explored the forests and rivers. One day we went fishing and I even caught a little trout! We also saw some deer, squirrels, chipmunks and other cool animals. My favorite hike though was when we climbed up to this incredible waterfall. The waterfall was gushing down from high up and at the bottom was this amazing crystal clear pool of water that was so refreshing to swim in. We spent the whole day there splashing around, having a picnic lunch, and just relaxing next to the waterfall.Another day we went horseback riding through the mountains. I was a little nervous at first because I had never ridden a horse before! But the guides showed me what to do and my horse was really well trained. Her name was Daisy and she was super sweet and gentle. We rode for a couple hours through the woods and hills and saw some incredible views from up onthe horses. We even rode through a few little streams which was fun.On our last day before leaving, we went whitewater rafting down a rushing river. We had to wear these goofy looking life jackets and helmets, but it was still awesome. The rapids were splashing us the whole time and at some points we even got bucked out of the raft! Don't worry, we had our life jackets on so we were totally safe, it was just really exhilarating and fun. My face completely dried out from smiling so much on that rafting trip! After our amazing week in the national park it was so sad to leave and go back home. I didn't want summer vacation to end. But I also couldn't wait to tell all my friends about the awesome adventures I had. Jack is going to be so jealous when I tell him about going whitewater rafting and seeing a waterfall bigger than a skyscraper! This was easily one of the best summer vacations I've ever had. I'll never forget jumping into that crystal clear pool by the waterfall or riding Daisy the horse through the mountain trails. I hope we can go back to the national park again next summer!篇2My Favorite HolidayYay, it's time for summer vacation! That's my favorite holiday of the whole year. School is out and I have nothing but free time for 2 whole months. No more teachers, no more books, no more getting up early. I get to sleep in as late as I want!During summer, my days are pretty relaxing. I spend a lot of time outside playing sports or just hanging out with my friends. We have awesome games of basketball, soccer, or football going in the park or at the schoolyard. When it's really hot, we Cool off by having epic water balloon fights or running through the sprinklers. Sometimes we go on bike rides and explore different parts of the neighborhood we've never been to before. Some of my best summer memories are from the times my family goes on vacation. Last year, we went to the beach for a week. I loved playing in the ocean waves and making sandcastles on the shore. We rented a little beach house and I could hear the crashing waves at night when I went to sleep. For dinner, we'd have delicious barbecues outside and make s'mores over the fire pit. I didn't want to leave when the week was over! The summer after 6th grade, we drove out west to some famous national parks. We hiked through the mountains, went whitewater rafting down a river, and saw incredibly tall redwoodtrees that were thousands of years old. Sleeping in a tent under the star-filled sky was an adventure I'll never forget. We even got to ride horses one day on a trail through the forests. I felt like a real cowboy! When I'm not out on adventures, I like to veg out at home during the summer. I can stay up late binge-watching Netflix shows or reading comics and novels I've been wanting to read. My mom usually lets me have extra screen time too so I can level up in my favorite video games. We also try to fit in a lot of fun activities as a family, like going to amusement parks, baseball games, or the county fair where I can go on all the crazy rides.Another thing I look forward to is going to summer camp for a couple weeks each year. I get to learn new skills like archery, canoeing, or outdoor survival. Camp is an awesome place to make new friends from other schools and stay up late every night telling scary stories and roasting marshmallows. We go on overnight camping trips too where we cook our meals over a campfire. It's nice to get away from the city and experience nature.Of course, no summer is complete without celebrating the 4th of July! My neighborhood always has a huge block party with a parade and lots of delicious food like hot dogs, hamburgers, watermelon and popsicles. I love watching the fireworks show they put on at night. The fireworks are so colorful and amazing! The whole day is filled with fun activities like three-legged races, a dunk tank to soak your teachers, and a talent show where I can show off my awesome juggling skills.Summer is also a popular time for family reunions and getting together with relatives that live far away. We'll host a giant picnic or barbecue with my aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents all coming over. Us kids run around playing games like tag or hide-and-seek while the adults sit around chatting, eating, and drinking lemonade. Maybe if we're lucky, our rich uncle will rent a huge bouncy castle for us to jump around in! Those family parties are a blast.Whenever I see back-to-school commercials start in late August, I get that pit of dread in my stomach. Saying goodbye to the fun and freedom of summer is hard! But I know that a new school year means new opportunities, experiences and personal growth. Plus, I'll get to see my friends again everyday. As they say, all good things must come to an end. At least I have my summer memories to look back on fondly once the winter cold sets in. Those memorie will help me push through until summer vacation rolls around once more!篇3My Summer VacationYay, summer vacation is finally here! No more waking up early, no more homework, no more tests. Just two whole months of freedom and fun! This summer, my family went on an awesome trip. We drove out to the countryside to visit my grandparents who live in a small village. The drive took forever, but it was so cool seeing all the different scenery out the car window - towering mountains, fields of crops, and lots of cows and sheep! When we got to my grandparents' house, they greeted us with the biggest smiles. My grandma made my favorite dumplings for lunch. After eating, my cousins who live next door came over and we all played together in the yard. We ran around chasing each other, played hide and seek behind the trees, and did cartwheels on the grass. So much fun!In the evenings, we would sit outside and look up at the starry sky. You could see so many more stars than in the city. My grandpa would tell us stories about the different constellations. I tried catching fireflies in a jar too, but they were too quick for me.During the days, I helped my grandparents out on their little farm. I fed the chickens and collected the eggs, picked fresh vegetables from the garden, and learned how to milk the cow! Getting squirted in the face with milk was pretty funny. My hands smelled like grass and dirt, but I didn't mind one bit.We went on a hike one day up into the nearby hills. The views from the top were breathtaking. You could see for miles and miles in every direction. We had a picnic lunch at the summit, sandwiches and fresh fruit my grandma packed for us. I loved breathing in the fresh mountain air.Another day, we visited a Buddhist temple up in the mountains. The temple grounds were beautiful and so peaceful. We walked through the gardens with ponds full of koi fish and watched the monks meditating. Inside the main hall, the smell of incense was striking. I've never seen so many ornate statues before. My little cousin kept wanting to pull on the long beards of the statue monks! On weekends, there was a little outdoor market that would pop up in the village. We browsed all the stalls, looking at handmade crafts, clothes, toys, and snacks. I bought a handwoven basket to bring back home. The best part was tryingall the delicious street food - juicy meat skewers, flaky pastries, sweet rice balls, and refreshing fruit smoothies. At night after dinner, all the village kids would come outside and we'd play together. We'd have competitions doing cartwheels and handstands, play jumping games using elastic bands, and just run around laughing and being silly. Staying up late wasn't even a problem without school! Before we knew it, the vacation was over. I was sad to leave my grandparents and cousins, but so happy to have made such wonderful memories. As we drove back home, I watched the countryside slowly turn into cityscape out the window. My mind was overflowing with images of this summer - the starry skies, the temple gardens, the little farm animals, and the smiling faces of my family. What an unbelievable experience. I already can't wait for next summer!篇4My Summer VacationYay, the school year is finally over! I'm so excited for summer vacation. No more waking up early, no more homework, and no more boring classes. Just lots of fun activities and relaxation for the next few months! My family didn't make any big plans to travel this summer, but that's okay with me. I'm just happy to stay home, sleep late, and hang out with my friends. We're already making a list of all the things we want to do.First up is going to the pool almost every day. Our community pool just opened for the season and it's going to be hot this summer, so what better way to beat the heat? I learned how to swim when I was little, but now I can practice diving and swimming underwater. Maybe I'll even work on my backstroke. My friend Jeremy is a really strong swimmer and he said he'd help me get better. I'm definitely going to take him up on that offer! When we get tired of swimming, we'll probably have lots of water gun fights too. Those are always so much fun, especially on super hot days. Jeremy's backyard is perfect for an epic battle. We can build forts out of lawn furniture and create a whole battlefield. Then we'll divide into teams and soak each other until we're completely drenched! I have a new super soaker that I got for my birthday. It's the biggest one I've ever had and can shoot water so far. The neighborhood kids better watch out because I'm coming for them!If the weather isn't nice enough for outdoor activities, there are still plenty of things to do inside. My friends and I are huge video game fans, so you can bet we'll be spending many hours battling it out on various games. Lately we've been really into this new first-person shooter game. The graphics are so realistic and intense. We'll probably have tournaments to see who can get the highest score. I'm competitive, so you'd better believe I'll be practicing like crazy to make sure I come out on top!Another rainy day activity will be watching movies and TV shows. There are so many new shows I want to binge on the different streaming services. Comedies are my favorite because I love a good laugh. Maybe we'll have movie marathons of classic funny films too. We'll make a ton of popcorn and other snacks to munch on while we veg out on the couch for hours.Of course, being summer, there has to be beach trips too! My family will probably go to the coast for at least a week at some point. I love the beach and everything about it - swimming in the ocean, building sandcastles, collecting seashells, and just laying around relaxing. The beach is definitely my happy place. Hopefully the weather cooperates and we get lots of sunshine.Whether we're at the beach or back at home, you know we'll make lots of amazing memories together. Summer is much morefun with your best friends by your side. We'll be able to look back and laugh at all the crazy times we had. Like that one time Tommy got stung by a jellyfish at the beach. Or when we had a massive whipped cream fight in Jeremy's kitchen and it took us hours to clean up the mess. Those are the kinds of stories we'll be telling over and over again for years!Summer needs to last forever if you ask me. I wish I could just stay a kid and not have any responsibilities. No school, no homework, no chores - just nonstop fun and freedom. That would be the life! But I guess all good things must come to an end eventually. Before I know it, summer will be over and I'll be back to the normal routine of classes, homework, and early bedtimes. Ugh, I don't even want to think about that right now!For now, I'm just going to enjoy every minute of this summer break. Sleeping in late, staying up watching movies all night, having epic Nerf gun battles, and making a million amazing memories with my best friends. This is gonna be one summer I'll never forget! When I'm an adult with a busy job and life, I'll look back so fondly on these days. Summer vacation is truly the best time of year. I'm making the most of every second because they'll be over way too fast. Here's to making this summer one for the books!篇5My Memorable Summer VacationOh boy, last summer was totally awesome! I had such a great time. Let me tell you all about the super fun things I did.First of all, my family went on this really cool trip. We drove out to the countryside to visit my aunt and uncle who live on a farm. It's way out in the middle of nowhere, but that's what makes it so fun! There are fields and forests all around, and you can see millions of stars at night. When we got there, my aunt and uncle let me help out with all the farm chores. I got to feed the chickens and gather the eggs from their coop. The chickens are so silly looking as they strut around clucking. One of them even tried to peck me when I got too close! I also helped my uncle slop the pigs. That was kinda gross with all the mud and smelly pig food, but also hilarious watching the pigs snort and roll around. My favorite part though was getting to ride the horses! My aunt has two big workhorses named Clyde and Bucky. They're really strong and calm. I got to brush them, saddle them up, and then go for a trail ride through the woods. The path was so peaceful and shady. At one point, a deer even ran across the trailright in front of us! The horses didn't get spooked at all though. They're pros.In the evenings after all the chores were done, we would have a big cookout. My uncle would grill burgers and hot dogs over a fire pit. Then we'd go catch fireflies in thebig fields behind the house. I was able to fill up an entire jar with the glowing bugs! After it got completely dark, we'd roast marshmallows and make s'mores. They were soooo gooey and delicious.Another part of my summer that was a blast was going to basketball camp for two weeks. It was an overnight camp at the university. We stayed in the dorms and ate in their huge dining hall. For breakfast they had everything you could imagine - pancakes, waffles, omelettes, cereals, yogurt, you name it!The basketball part was super intense though. We had practice for like 4 hours every morning, learning dribbling and shooting drills. Then in the afternoon, we scrimmaged and played actual games. My team wasn't that good to be honest. We lost pretty much every game. But it was still so fun!In the evenings after dinner, we had rec time where we could swim in the pool, play ping-pong and video games, or just hang out. My favorite was swimming because it was the perfect way to cool off after being out in the summer heat all day. I made a tonof new friends at the camp too. We would explore all over the campus, looking for secret spots and fun places to hang out. Pretty much every night we stayed up way too late, telling stories and goofing around. I didn't want it to end!But of course, what I looked forward to most was celebrating my birthday in July. My parents let me have a huge sleepover party and invite like 10 friends to stay over. We set up a gigantic tent in the backyard with a bunch of sleeping bags. After going to the pool and having cake and ice cream, we watched movies on a projector they set up outside. It was so cool falling asleep underneath the stars like we were camping. The next day my friends and I had an epic nerf blaster war in the house and backyard. There were foam darts flying everywhere!I also got awesome presents for my birthday. My favorite was the new video game I had been wanting. It's this cool open-world adventure game where you get to explore different planets and build bases. I spent pretty much the whole rest of the summer playing it and beating all the levels. My friends and I would have online gaming sessions together too. So much fun!Phew, that was one action-packed summer! I'll never forget all the great memories I made. From the peaceful farm to the basketball camp craziness to my epic at-home birthday bash, itwas three months of non-stop adventure. Summers just don't get any better than that! I can't wait for the warm weather to come back so I can make more awesome summer memories.篇6My Favorite TeacherHello everyone! Today I want to tell you all about my favorite teacher, Miss Johnson. She is the bestest teacher ever and I just love her class so much!Miss Johnson teaches English at my school. Her class is always fun and never boring. We do lots of cool activities like reading interesting stories, acting out little plays, and playing games to practice vocabulary words. Miss Johnson makes learning English feel like playtime rather than work. One of the things I love most about Miss Johnson is how cheerful and energetic she is. She always has a big smile on her face and a positive attitude. Even when kids are being a little rowdy, she doesn't get upset. She just claps her hands and says in a singsong voice "Okay friends, let's all take a deep breath and refocus!" Then we all take a breath together and settle back down. Her happy spirit is contagious and lifts everyone's mood.Miss Johnson is also really good at explaining things clearly, so all the students understand. If someone looks puzzled, she never makes them feel dumb. She just rephrases what she said in a simpler way until that lightbulb goes off. She uses lots of examples and visuals too, which really helps the lessons stick in our brains. Sometimes she even acts things out in a silly way that cracks us all up laughing while still teaching the point. I learn so much in her class without even realizing it because she makes it so fun and easy to understand.Another awesome thing about Miss Johnson is how she encourages every student. She is always giving us sincere compliments and cheering us on. Whenever I do well on an assignment, she gives me a bright sticker or writes an encouraging note. If I'm struggling with something, she patiently works with me until I've got it, never making me feel bad about taking a bit longer. I try my best because I want to make her proud of me. She really believes in us and brings out the best in each of her students.Miss Johnson doesn't just teach English though - she also teaches important life lessons. She is always reminding us to be kind, honest, hard-working and respectful. If kids are ever mean to each other, she pulls them aside to talk calmly about why thatbehavior hurts others. She sets such a great example of how to treat people with compassion. We learn just as much about being a good person as we do about grammar and vocabulary.I'll never forget the times Miss Johnson has gone above and beyond too. Once when I was sick, she came over with a get well card that had been signed by the whole class. She even brought me a little teddy bear and some soup! Another time, she stayed after school for hours helping me prepare for the big spelling bee. I ended up winning second place and was so proud. Whenever parents volunteer is needed, Miss Johnson's hand always shoots up first. You can tell she genuinely cares about all of her students.Miss Johnson's classroom feels like a cozy, safe little world where I can soak up knowledge and just be myself without any judgement. When I walk in and see her smiling face, I breathe a sigh of relief. No matter what difficulties I'm facing in life, I know her class will be a bright spot in my day full of laughter, warmth and feelings of accomplishment. She makes me feel smart, capable and supported every single lesson.I feel so lucky to have a teacher as wonderful as Miss Johnson. She is like a third parent to me, nurturing my mind and spirit. Her passion for teaching simply glows out of her. You cantell this isn't just a job to her - it is her calling and purpose in life. She makes the world a far better place by shaping young lives with patience, wisdom and unwavering belief in every child's potential. I hope that when I grow up, I'll be able to spread as much light, laughter and inspiration as she does every day.So that's why Miss Johnson is my favorite teacher and always will be! She is the best of the best. I will cherish all the amazing memories from her English classes forever. Thank you, Miss Johnson, for everything you do. You are the personmeaningarian of what it truly means to be an educator!。
