设全集{}22,3,4U m m =+-,集合{},2A m =,∁u =3,则m =()A .2±B .2C .2-D .4-【答案】C2.命题“20,1x x x ∀>-≤”的否定是()A .20,1x x x ∀≤-≤B .20,1x x x ∀>->C .20,1x x x ∃≤-≤D .20,1x x x ∃>->【答案】D3.已知a ,b ,c ,满足c b a <<,且0ac <,那么下列不等式中一定成立的是()A .ab ac >B .()0c b a -<C .22cb ab <D .ac (a -c )>0【答案】A4. 若不等式20ax bx c -+>的解集是(1,2)-,则下列选项正确的是()A .0a b c ++=B .a<0C .0b >且0c <D .不等式20ax cx b ++>的解集是R【答案】AB【解析】由于不等式20ax bx c -+>的解集是(1,2)-,所以a<0,B 选项正确,且1212b ac a ⎧-+=⎪⎪⎨⎪-⨯=⎪⎩,即12b a c a ⎧=⎪⎪⎨⎪-=⎪⎩,则,2==-b a c a ,所以20a b c a a a ++=+-=,A 选项正确,0,20b a c a =<=->,C 选项错误,不等式20ax cx b ++>,即220ax ax a -+>,即()222110x x x -+=-<,无解,D 选项错误. 对于集合A,B ,用card(A)表示有限集合A 中元素的个数,已知card(A)=M,card(B)=N(M<N),集合C 满足A ⊆C ⊆B,则符合条件的集合C 的个数是____________.【答案】2N-M 15. 设全集R U =,集合{}|15A x x =≤≤,集合{|122}B x a x a =--≤≤-.(1)若“x A ∈”是“x B ∈”的充分不必要条件,求实数a 的取值范围;(2)若B A ⊆,求实数a 的取值范围.【详解】(1)由“x A ∈”是“x B ∈”的充分不必要条件,得A B ,又{}|15A x x =≤≤,{|122}B x a x a =--≤≤-,A=-∞,求B(2)若(),120.

By cleanly stomping back-to-back 1800 tricks, the teenager landed the biggest prize so far in his young career—gold in the men’s Big Air at the Beijing Winter Olympics. The notable achievement realized a childhood dream to reach the peak of the sport, which he began to learn at the age of 4.Now with two shinning medals hung around his neck, the 17-year-old described his superb Olympic debut (首秀) as an unbelievable experience that has made all his sacrifices worthwhile. “This feels so surreal that I’ve finally accomplished what I’ve dreamed of since I was little,” said an emotional Su.Over the past four years, Su has combined his talent with hard work to produce one of the swiftest rises to prominence the sport has ever seen. When the Shougang Big Air venue hosted its first international event, Su was an unknown qualifier, who didn’t even make the final runs. Just over two years later, Su is t he name on everyone’s lips at the venue s Olympic debut—drawing the whole nation’s attention to the sport he loves.“The biggest motivation (动力) for me is my love for snowboarding,” Su said, when asked about the secret to his success. “In snowboarding, I f eel like I can show my own style and creativity. Every time I ride my board, it’s always a joyful moment. I hope through my experience, I can inspire more young people to get interested in the sport.”Su, a former child actor who featured in action movies, said the Olympic gold will encourage him to seek for more breakthroughs—even beyond his athletic career. “I enjoy snowboarding just as much as I enjoy acting,” said Su, who turns 18 on Friday. “I think I still have a lot of possibilities to explore in my future career either in snowboarding or in acting. There are many different accents native to London, because it is not just where a person is born in the UK that decides their accent. Language and accents also differ across class and level of education. Therefore, the recent rise of a new accent coined at the end of the 20th century, “Multicultural London English.” Other factors are also important in the invention of new accents and ways of speaking. These include the influence of people from different racial(种族的) backgrounds and different age groups, too.The word “yoof’ is a slang spelling of “youth”. Some people consider “yoof” to be a negative term, since its pronunciation is easier and lazier than youth. Other people see the term as positive, because it describes how young people are creating their own language, concepts and identity. By using words that their parents don’t understand, children can talk about things that their parents might not agree with. In this way, young people are starting to find freedom, independence and self-expression. They are creating a “yoof culture”. A few features(特点)of the yoof style of language are as follows: · instead of ‘think’, ‘the’, ‘that’, what’ and ‘because’, yoof will say ‘fink’, ‘da’, ‘dat’,’wot’ and’coz’.· instead of using a variety of tag questions like “., isn’t it?” or “... don’t they?”, yoof will use the all-purpose ‘innit’ (e.g. “It’s hot, innit! ”or “You can dance really well, innit!”)· in stead of “I don’t care!”, yoof will say “Whatever!”.Certain groups of society feel threatened by ‘yoof culture’ or by the British working classes having more social freedom. As a result, a negative term now commonly used in the UK is 'chav'.It isan insult(辱骂)and is meant to describe someone who is uneducated and anti-social (e.g. “He’s a chav!” ). A young person who wears a jacket with a hood-after all, it is often cold and rains a lot in the UK-is sometimes called a ‘hoodie’. It is a negative term again and suggests that the young person is interested in committing a crime(犯罪).Learners of English often feel that the best test of their English is how well they can talk to a native speaker, but perhaps they should worry less about this. In fact, when we th ink about ‘international English’, there is no such thing as a native or non-native speaker. The UK no longer owns the English language.8. Which of the following is NOT mentioned as a factor in the invention of new accents?A.Class. B.Race. C.Age. D.Family.9. What does “it” in paragraph 2 mean?A.The word “yoof”. B.Other people’s attitude.C.The pronunciation of “yoof’.D.Multicultural London English.10. What’s the probable feature of “ yoof languages”?A.They are only used online.B.They are simple but easy to understand.C.They are usually an incomplete list of words.D.They are short but have complete grammar structure.11. What is the main idea of paragraph 3?A.Young people are more likely to commit a crime.B.Yoof culture has a bad influence on young people.C.Certain groups have negative ideas of the yoof culture.D.Different people have different attitudes towards yoof culture.IT’S A TYPICAL morning: you wake up, take a shower, brush your teeth, and then prick(刺;扎)your arm with a tiny needle. Wait, what? Unless you have a serious disease such as diabetes, you probably haven’t ever tested your own blood. But in the future, that might change. The company Cor already sells a system for home blood testing. You stick your arm using a supposedly painless, one-off,blood-drawing cartridge(针筒)about the size of a lipstick. Then you stick the cartridge into a device(装置) that looks like the base for an electric toothbrush. A few minutes later, an app on your phone buzzes with updated information, including your current health data(数据) and tips on what to eat and how to exercise during the day. It’s true that blood contains a wealth of information about a person’s health. Blood tests can show if a person is infected with a disease or at risk for a variety of problems, including a heart attack or a stroke. But most people don’t test their own blood until a doctor says it’s time. Healthy young adults get regular blood tests about every five years. These tests happen at a lab, where a technician or a nurse sticks a long needle into the arm to draw out several tubes full of blood. Cor and similar companies, such as WellnessFX, are trying to change all that. They think people deserve access to more information about their own health. But not everyone i s convinced that regular blood testing for healthy people is a great idea. Cor’s system is expensive and may not offer much benefit. “The lightest result here is that you lose your money and then you’re reminded to get more sleep and to eat more fruits, vegetables, and fish,” Pieter Cohen of Harvard Medical School told the New York Times. “The worst result is that you end up getting frightened by probably abnormal results that are actually completely normal for you.”Plus, the results of a home blood test m ight be wrong. It’s hard to get accurate results from a tiny amount of blood. So what do you think? Is monitoring your own health via pinpricks the way of the future? Or is it better to leave blood testing to medical professionals?12. Why does the author mention the typical morning in the first paragraph?A.To explain a scene.B.To make a comparison.C.To provide an example.D.To introduce the topic.13. What can we learn about the company Cor’s blood-testing system?A.It is painless and cheap to use.B.It has won popularity among people.C.It offers accurate health information about our body.D.It may give advice on our diet according to the health data.14. What’s Pieter Cohen’s attitude towards this kind of system?A.Negative. B.Unclear. C.Supportive. D.Objective. 15. Which of the following could be the best title for the text?A.Home blood testing: your health monitor! B.Home blood tests: yes or no?C.A new system of improving your health. D.Should blood tests be allowed at home? It is never too late to develop great study habits. However, starting making some changes is hard.

But in the earthquake capitals of the world –Japan, Los Angeles, Turkey – rats will soon be man’s new best friends. What happens after an earthquake? We send in rescue dogs. Why? Because they can smell people. Dogs save lives. They help rescuers to find living people. But dogs are big and they can’t get into small spaces. So now a new research project is using a smaller animal to save lives: the rat.How does it work? First , the rat is trained to smell people. When this happens, the rat’s brain gives a signal(信号).This is sent to a small radio on its back, and then the rescuers follow the radio signals. When rat’s brain activity jumps, the rescuers know that someone is alive. The rat has smelled that person.Although there are already robots which can do this job, rats are better. Christian Linster at Cornell University, New York, says, “Robots’ noses don’t work well when there are other smells around. Rats are good at that. ” Rats can also see in the dark. They are cheaper and quicker to train than dogs, and unlike robots, they don’t need electricity! The “rat project” is not finished, but Julie Ryan of International Rescue Corps in Scotland says, “It would be fantastic. A rat could get into spaces we couldn’t get to, and a rat would get out if it wasn’t safe.”Perhaps for the first time in history, people will be happy to see a rat in a building(but only after an earthquake, of course.)41.In the world earthquake capitals, rats will become man’s best friends because they can .A.take the place of man’s rescue jobsB.find the position of people alive who are trapped in buildingsC.serve as food for people alive who are trapped in buildingsD.get into small spaces42.In doing rescue jobs, .A.rats smell better than dogsB.dogs don’t need to be trained to smell people2007学年第二学期高一开学考试英语试卷第 3 页共 6 页C.robots’ sense of smell can be affected by other smells aroundD.rats can see in the dark and smaller than robots43.Rats have all the following advantages except that .A.they are more fantastic than other animalsB.they are less expensive to train than dogsC.they don’t need electricityD.they are small and can get into small places44.After reading the passage we can know .A.at present rats have taken the place of dogs in searching for peopleB.the “rat project” has been completedC.people are now happy to see a rat in a buildingD.now people still use dogs and robots in performing rescues(B)Dear Mrs. Nugget,You may remember that we have discussed the noise your children make while practicing the piano in your home. You agreed to make sure that they would stop practicing in the evening. You can imagine my astonishment (惊讶) then when I realized that nothing had changed at all and the situation was continuing as before. I find it difficult to stay in my house and I invent excuse to go out for the evening to be away from the terrible noise. Much as I like music , I have had enough and to tell you the truth, I am not prepared to put up with the situation any more.I think it is high time you realized your responsibilities (责任) as a member of the society , and I must warn you that unless you do something about the situation. I will be forced to take legal (法律)action. We all make noise in our day-to-day lives. However, noise which is unreasonable and is likely to disturb others is not acceptable . I will keep a Noise Record Sheet from today on and contact the council when necessary . And I have also sent a copy of this letter to my lawyer.Yours sincerely,R.G. Barge45. Why did Barge write this letter ?A.Because Mrs. Nugget’s children played the piano so badly.B.Because Mrs. Nugget refused to listen to his complaints.(投诉)C.Because Mrs. Nugget didn’t tell the truth as Barge did.D.Because Mrs. Nugget refused to keep her promise.46. But if we had kept a book and had written in it an account of what we did each day, we should be able to give an answer to the question. It is the same in history. Many things have been forgotten because we do not have any written account of them. Sometimes men did keep a record of the most important happenings in their country, but often it was destroyed by fire or in a war. Sometimes there was never any written record at all because the people of that time and place did not know how to write. For example, we know a good deal about the people who lived in China 4,000 years ago, because they could write and leave written records for those who lived after them. But we know almost nothing about the people who lived even 200 years ago in Central Africa, because they had not learned to write.Sometimes, of course, songs and dances and stories have been made about the most important happenings, and these have been sung and acted and told for many generations, for most people are proud to tell what their fathers did in the past. This we may call “remembered history”. Some of it has now been written down. It is not as exact or valuable to us as written history is, because words are much more easily changed when used again and again in speech than when copied in writing. But where there are no written records, such spoken stories are often very helpful.48. Which of the following is NOT mentioned in the passage?A.“Remembered history”, compared with written history, is less reliable.B.Written records of the past play a most important role in our learning of the humanhistory.C. A written account of our daily activities helps us to remember the events that happened inthe past.D.Where there are no written records of the past, there is no history.49. Why do we know little about what happened in Central Africa 200 years ago?A.There was nothing worth being written down at that time.B.People there did not know how to write in those days.C.The written records were perhaps destroyed in a fire.D.People there ignored the importance of keeping a record.50.
