一本教材是否优秀取决于很多因素,而最重要的因素是在于其是否能够满足教师的教学与学生的学习。

教材是实现课程目标的重要手段,也是教师教学和学生学习的主要载体。

《普通高中英语课程标准(2017年版)》提出了课程具体目标:培养和发展学生在接受高中英语教育后应具备的语言能力、文化意识、思维品质、学习能力等学科核心素养。

在中国,学生核心素养的培养主要是通过基础教育阶段各学科的教育教学来实现的(程晓堂等,2016)。

因此,在培养学生英语核心素养中,教材发挥着重大作用。

狭义的教材指的是教科书,而从广义上说,教科书作为教材的重要组成部分,它是一个课程的核心教学材料。

教科书是学生在学校获得系统的知识并进行学习的主要材料,它可以帮助学生掌握教师讲授的内容,同时也便于学生预习、复习和完成作业(程晓堂等,2016)。

可见,教科书的作用是显著的。

外语教育的根本目的是培养全面发展的人(韩宝成,2018)。

就英语学科而言,教师首先应该培养学生的语言交流能力,同时,学生通过语言学习,或者说在语言学习的过程中获得其他的核心素养(束定芳,2017)。

人教版高中英语教材由必修和选修两大部分构成,共10本教材,必修、选修各5本,每本五个单元,即五个不同主题。

每个单元又包括不同的部分,依次为热身(Warming up)、读前(Pre-reading)、阅读(Reading)、理解(Compre-hending)、语言学习(Learning about lan-guage)和语言运用(Using language)等。

各个部分均围绕单元主题展开听说读写活动,并以语法为线贯穿整个单元的学习,最后设有总结(Summing up)、学习技巧(Learn-ing tip)和趣味阅读(Reading for fun)等环节。

本文采用文本分析法,从人教版高中英语必修一的内容和特点以及核心素养的角度分析教材,有助于教师对教材的把握,提高英语教学的有效性。

① 根据课堂提问抓住老师的思路。老师在讲课过程中往往会提出一些问题,有的要求回答,有的则是自问自答。一般来说,老师在课堂上提出的问 题都是学习中的关键,若能抓住老师提出的问题深入思考,就可以抓住老师的思路。
④ 紧跟老师的推导过程抓住老师的思路。老师在课堂上讲解某一结论时,一般有一个推导过程,如数学问题的来龙去脉、物理概念的抽象归纳、语 文课的分析等。感悟和理解推导过程是一个投入思维、感悟方法的过程,这有助于理解记忆结论,也有助于提高分析问题和运用知识的能力。
