大多数学生英语学习兴趣较浓，自信心强，乐于感知新事物。他们乐于展示自己，对英语学习的热情高。学生们基础知识扎实，阅读能力较强，但相应的阅读技能仍需提高。为了给学生创造自我展示和自我学习的平台，本课设计了现场采访活动，为他们提供了一个很好的展示平台。本节课在活动之间搭设台阶，在课堂活动设计上遵循由易到难的原则，尽量让所有学生都有积极参与的机会和欲望，使不同层次的学生都学有所得。通过本课学习，进一步加强他们的语言综合运用能力。
