精彩纷呈的万圣节教案。

【教学目标】:

通过本节课的学习,学生将学会以下技能:

1、了解万圣节的起源和文化历史背景,并掌握相关词汇:

All Saint’s Day、Jack-o-lantern、candy、costume、trick or treat、spooky等。

2、运用英语词汇和书面语言表达自己的观点:

以“我的化妆舞会”为题,为自己的博客编写一篇关于自己化身成某个角色参加万圣节舞会的文章,文章应包括衣服,化妆和配件的描述,以及对文化现象的看法。

3、使用合适的形容词和副词描述场景:

运用形容词和副词为场景进行生动的描写,如desolate、creepy、eerie等。

【教学步骤】:

Step 1:Lead-in

1)Show the pictures of Halloween costumes and ask students whether they know this festival.

2)Introduce the history of Halloween and the activities

in this festival, such as “trick or treat” and “Halloween parties”.

Step 2:Vocabulary Learning

1)Teach students the vocabulary related to Halloween.

2)Students can make sentences by using those new words, which help deepen the understanding of the vocabulary.

Step 3:Reading

1)Ss are supposed to read a passage on Halloween customs and traditions.

2)Students are asked to discuss what they read in groups, and then give a brief presentation, reporting what their

group members said.

Step 4:Writing activity

1)First, Ss are asked to make a costume and describe

their appearance and accessories.

2)Then ask Ss to write a blog post about their experience of attending a Halloween party, including information about their costume, makeup, and observations about Halloween culture.

Step 5:Speaking practice

1)Students discuss in pairs about their personal experience attending Halloween parties.

2)As a group, they reenact their experiences, using new vocabulary and phrases they learned in class.

Step 6:Assessment

1)The students’ blog posts and spe aking performances will be evaluated.

2)Ss will also be assessed on their understanding of new vocabulary and sentence construction.

【教学重点】:

1、培养学生阅读技能,如理解文章中的隐含信息。

2、提高学生的口语表达能力,通过模拟真实场景增强句型和词汇的运用能力。
