• John. F. Kennedy was born in 1917. • He graduated from Choate and entered Harvard in 1936. Soon after graduating, John joined the Navy. • On July 13,1960 the Democratic party nominated （提名）him as its candidate for President.

On November 22th 1963,Kennedy visited Dallas with his wife Jackie. He was shot during a riding tour in an open limousine (敞 篷车）and died after about half an hour later
