also important to secure furniture and other objects in your home to prevent them from falling and causing injury.
Lastly, it is important to know what to do during and after an earthquake. During an earthquake, it is important to drop, cover, and hold on to something sturdy. After the earthquake, it is important to check for injuries and damage, and to listen for instructions from local authorities.
In my personal experience, I have felt several earthquakes in my lifetime. One of the most memorable was the 2011 earthquake in Japan, which registered a magnitude of 9.0 and caused widespread destruction and loss of life. It was a terrifying experience, but it also taught me the importance of being prepared and staying calm during an earthquake.
