Section A 1 (1a-1c)

一、教学目标:
1. 语言知识目标:
1) 能掌握以下单词: newspaper, use, soup, wash, movie, just 及一些短语 watch TV, clean the house , read a newspaper talk on the phone ,listen to a CD ,use the computer ,make soup ,wash the dishes 能掌握以下句型:
①—What are you doing? —I'm watching TV.
②—What's he doing? —He's using the computer.
③—What are they doing? —They're listening to a CD.
2) 能掌握语法:现在进行时态的用法。
3) 能运用所学的知识,描述人们正在做的事情。
2. 情感态度价值观目标:
通过对本单元的学习活动,能培养培养学生学习英语的强烈兴趣,善于发现生活中正在发生的事情,积极思考,乐于助人,乐于参加各种活动的积极情感,培养学生团结合作的精神。
二、教学重难点
1. 教学重点:
1) 词汇、词组搭配和现在进行时的用法。能用现在进行时的各种形式进行准确的描述和表达正在发生的动作。
2) 能掌握现在进行时态及一些表示具体动作的词组搭配,如: doing homework, using the computer, watching TV,…等
2. 教学难点:
现在进行时中现在分词的结构及读音,能在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达正在进行的动作。
三、教学过程
Ⅰ. Warming-up and Lead in
1.Greet the students and ask if they like listening to music.
(students answer “yes”,then teacher play the video program)
2.after watching a video program.,T ask what you can hear from the video
program,sudents answer.
Ss :What are you doing?
I am washing.
What are you doing?
I am running…
Ⅱ. Presentation
1. Show some pictures about two famous people on the big screen.
2. Ss watch and discuss and say “He is Yao Ming and he is playing basketball …
3. T lead in:present progressive tense
Be + V-ing
(Be has three forms here, am ,is ,are)
Show a picture about some verbs on the big screen,ask students to add “ing”in correct ways,and give Ss some time to finish this task.
4check the answers together
5,Show some words and their V-ing forms on the screen and ask some students to read these words loudly,devide two groups,boys and girls ,which group read better,then teacher and students conclude together :
(1)一般情况+ing
(2)以不发音e结尾的,去e+ing’
(3)以重读闭音节结尾末尾只有1个辅音字母,双写辅音字母+ing。
6 show sentence stuctures about present progressive tense on the big screen.ask Ss to observe carefully,and try to remember these useful structures.
7,Teach: watching TV, cleaning, reading a newspaper, listening to a
CD,talking on the phone... (Ss read these phrases and make sentences using these phrases.
8.game:quick eyes.快速朗读词组并译成汉语
9, Work on 1a. Ss read the activities and look at the pictures. Then match the activities with pictures.
10, Check the answers with the Ss.
Ⅲ. Game (guess)
1.T: Now let's play a game. What's she/he doing? Show some pictures on
the big screen ) Let Ss guess what's he/she is doing?
2.T : I have some colorful cards here,are they beautiful? Ss answer
“yes”,then ask some students to do the actions which are written on the cards ,then other students guess,say sentences.
2. Ss watch and guess the actions.
Ⅳ.Give a report
1,Write a short passage about Tom’s family.
2,show a letter from Tom.(生观察人称变化)
Ⅴ.Homework (writing)
今天晚上你的家人吃完饭后都在做什么,请把这些事情记录下来。
